We are now known as SUPER Dragonball Universe in an attempt to reflect our shift from Universe 7 to Universe 6.

Alright, people, we have some interesting news for you! The staff members of DBU are working hard on improving the mechanics and creating new things to make our board more fun and thrilling to play on. We anticipate having plenty of other things to be implemented in the near future too, but for now we have two major announcements to make!
God Forms
You read it right! We are now implementing God Form mechanics, meaning every character can eventually achieve the much hyped god transformation that was introduced in Battle of the Gods and further developed in Resurrection of F and Dragon Ball Super. Every race will be able to achieve god forms and, while the first form power is race dependent, the final form is equal to all who managed to reach the impressive feat of having an stellar power level.

Passive Techniques
We are also making a slight change to the Support techniques in order to make everyone’s life easier. In the end it doesn’t change anything mechanically-wise, but will help clear up questions, such as which Support techniques require the use of Stamina. As of now, the Support Tree will be divided into Support Techniques (which require the use of Stamina) and Passive Techniques (which doesn’t require the use of Stamina). We already updated the technique list with the changes, but if you have any doubt about any other technique that you may have and it’s not listed there, feel free to ask.
We will also require everyone to update their profiles, so please post your profiles for review in Threads to Grade and we will let you know if you have anything to change.
Barrier Tech Buff
Finally, we are buffing the final tier of Barries techniques [ST-3]. In the past they charged at 110% of the user’s PL, but now they will be charging at 120%. Congratulations to all of you barrier users!

The Technique list has been updated with one very special technique! The Demonic Gateway!. Everyone needs to review and read what is on the technique list and what is listed in the Demon's racial!

A little bit of an old announcement, but don't forget that we do have Character Sheets to help you keep track of your characters!
Hi everyone and welcome to a new update on Dragonball Universe!
In this update we will be introducing to you our new Character Sheets. While it isn't mandatory to fill this out, it will help you in the long run when it comes to battles in either a regular thread, or even Risk of Deaths. Just click on the link provided above and copy the file to your own Google Sheet to get started, then just start filling in the blanks! You will have to refer to your Race Page for some of the more specific details like your Racials and Transformations but the rest should be pretty straight forward!
If you need an example to look at, feel free to refer the sheet I have done up of Komatsu. Like I said there is no real right or wrong way. On my sheet I've added some highlights just to clearly define certain categories or separate certain sections. The Character Sheet is here to help you, so make it as easy for you to navigate as possible!
When you are finished, simply grab the link then copy and paste it into your profile. You will find a field that says "Character Sheet", slap that link in there and watch it link to your mini profile STAT's tab!

May 31st, 2018~ I forget that not everyone on our site is in the Discord Channel LOL! Anyways we are integrating a major update to all of our systems here on DBU, as the last few events have made us realize some errors and flaws in our mechanics! Ultimates will now be separated into two categories: U3 for weaker ultimates that cost 3 stamina and U4 for stronger ultimates that cost 4 stamina. We've also introduced a FINISHER mechanic which a person must acquire for 100k zenni in the shop! A Finisher is tied to a school, but you can only possess ONE Finisher Technique (with Spirit Bomb being an exception). We've also updated our mechanics section so check that out~. We have also been buffing the Canon Schools to represent the new Martial Arts School template we will be posting.
A lot of race's now have their unique abilities tied into levels which is determined by PL, so those will be updated as well. Anyone who has a Custom Race, we will help you convert the races to the new rules after we have finished the Canons. Note however that if a custom race is not in use, then it is going to be archived!
As per the results of the poll, we will be making Universe 6 the primary focus of the site in the new year. Universe 7 will still exist alongside it, it will simply be put under it's own category, exactly like U6 is right now.
Please have patience with staff during this transition, as many things need to be adjusted to fit Universe 6.
The biggest change that you will notice off the bat, is that you will NOT be able to use jewels to purchase new character slots! Any other changes will be posted here
also, once the switch is made, we will be known as SUPER Dragon Ball Universe
