Through the countless stars in space, a large ship was moving. The Stinger was a state of the art warship used by the Arlians. A purple covered male barked out orders to the crew on the bridge, who were all busy carrying out their tasks.
“Pick up the pace and keep your energy fully suppressed! We are to remain as backup for our Queen until otherwise called for. Start the approach immediately!”
“Yes, your highness!”
The other Arlians spoke in unison. Apparently they were well trained in their duties. As such, there was only one power that wasn't supressed. It was a monstrous power level by all accounts. Queen Mospira sat in the command chair, watching as the planet drew ever closer. She was there to meet up with certain individuals. Normally she made other people come to her, butin this case she had to make an exception.
"Prince Roachan, take us down nice and steady. We wouldn’t want my precious blood to spill again, now would we?"
"N...no, of course we wouldn’t your majesty!"
Mospira smirked at the look of fear on her son's face She loved reminding them of their place now and again. She even had her children refer to her by her title only. She took a sip of her blood in the goblet, watching as the planet grew closer and closer. She wondered what kind of people she would run into here.
Once the ship touched down, Mospira exited out alone. She didn’t being her guards with her this time around, leaving them back at the ship. She wanted to come to this meeting on her own. She activated her scouter, walking towards the fairly large power it had picked up. She had parked her ship a short distance away from where they were located, so it wouldn't be long before they encountered them.
How long had it been since she had fought that guy?
It was easy to lose track of time, when her body was constantly sore in ways that didn't involve certain activities. That wolf had hit her pretty hard, and just kept growling and all too, even though fighting was hardly what she was looking for that night. But she had got away from that entirely.
The surroundings of the planet made that pretty clear, the faces around here, were all sorts of green in nature, and wearing clothing that made them look a lot like mercenaries. It was definitely her style, though they kinda had a similar attitude to that wolf. Expected things out of her she didn't want to go by, like some kind of pushover, when it was supposed to be the reverse here. They were supposed to come to her, and appeal to her favor.
But she guessed this whole Tournament Of Power thing, was really getting to people's heads here. A battle for their universe and its continued existence, big whoop. Whether they win or lost, the people in this universe wasn't going to feel it or anything. That much, she was pretty certain of.
She had went around planets for a long while, without ever meeting any deities. For them to suddenly show up and basically panic about how screwed up things around here could be, said enough to prove that was true. But she guessed most people were going to do whatever it took to win, anyway.
She wasn't one of them. However long she had been on this planet, she only knew for sure, that it had been too early before, to really take off the gauze on certain parts of her body. Those capsules so many people used to fully heal, wasn't really anything she bothered taking too much of. Maybe once a month.
Not because she couldn't afford it, but it was better to build up a tolerance for pain. However this tournament was going to go down, she doubted they would even allow healing items anyway. It was good practice or whatever, until the things started, and she and others were picked up by those deities.
The only god she had ever really prayed to had been the Din's Flame, before meeting those two, and it still continued staying that way, as she started removing her gauze completely. Her leather jacket was wrapped around her waist, while she lifted her tanktop up a little bit, just enough to expose her stomach. Although it didn't even matter whether or not anyone saw her. She was in the outskirts of this place for crying out loud.
What were they even going to do anyway, when what she was doing, would take a just minute? She had only managed to hook a finger into one of the folds in her gauze, before picking up the signature of a rather large energy. One that seemed to be headed to her location of all places.
And for what, exactly? Another fight or something? She didn't stop pulling onto her gauze, only getting more forceful, and touching the pains of injuries that had only just gotten healed. It was easy to yank it off, leaving the straps on the ground, while she worked on the small ones near her shoulders.
From the feel of the power level, her best would be able to keep up with whoever this was, if she really tried, but this was assuming a fight was even what they were looking for. She sure as hell wasn't going to bow to anyone, just because they had a higher power level. Not when things were fucked anyway.
She was probably the only one apart of this tournament, who could care less about it.

It didn't take long for the Arlian queen to find the source of the strong energy reading. They appeared to be a fairly average sized humanoid female. Mospira wasn't sure which race she exactly was, nor did she particularly care. There were quite a few races in the Galaxy that were like this. The Arlian towered over Serabi, staring down at her. She crossed two of her arms over her chest and two more slid to her hips.
“You better be a fellow participant in the tournament of power. I’m in a foul enough mood as it is without having to go out of my way to locate the others.”
The kind that made it hard not to eavesdrop, even though it was likely she was just going to get caught doing so. But most people who had a problem with it, couldn't really do much anyway. She was stronger than an average being, and if they wanted to go try testing that, it wasn't going to end well for them.
Her weapons were meant to be coated in blood, once she started swinging them. It was a tease, a waste of time, to be able to use both instead of just one, and not be able to go that far with them. It happened a couple of times before in the past. People who were too fast for her to even land a single hit on, which not even trying to time their movements through her ears, could really help out with. One of the reasons why, she didn't really fight all too often.
People kept expecting her to, because she was a Konatsian, and their swordsmanship came pretty naturally. But one slash at them with either of her two weapons, and most had ended up trying to run. It was as if they really expected her to do more than just slash at them. If they died, it was only because they expected her to heal them or something, even if she had already stated she didn't really have any of those items on her beforehand.
Lying was something she had no problem doing, but there was no point in it, when it came to caring about the health of others, or without something to gain from it. From the sound of the footsteps belonging to this source of power, they must have been pretty heavy. And not in the way she had seen a couple of the Heran men either. There was a difference in the walk, and what she remembered hearing, they tended to at least talk and mutter just as well.
This one just straight up didn't. The sight of the source itself, was pretty surprising. Some kind of bug woman that easily towered over her, and probably could have held her with one arm, if the alien had really tried. The unsurprising thing was hearing about the tournament being brought up, bringing her away from staring over that shelled body. Man, even when she was on an entirely different planet, she actually still had to hear about that stuff.
The news of the tournament wasn't even public, as far as she knew, so it really couldn't have been bait or anything, hearing about what was being said. Though what power the bug had, should have been proof enough that she was apart of it. She doubted it was as leisure as she had chosen to look at it though.
"And so what if I am? I doubt those deities are going to pick us up anytime soon."
Foul mood she says. If she was going around trying to find the strongest of the universe, then of course that was going to happen. Couldn't some of these guys try and be like her, and relax? If the universe had a chance of ending and all, the last thing anyone should have been doing, was being worked up about it. Had it not been for the clear attitude, and the obvious question of what this chick had in mind, she would have took things more leisurely.
Getting swung at by someone of this size was just going to hurt, and if there was a chance that was going to happen, she wanted to prepare for it. The worst part about someone wanting to talk to her, rather than the other way around, was not knowing just where things would lead. Not quick enough, she knew that.
If she expected to talk about strategy or something, she was the wrong person for it.
Base [x+1/x+0], Enrage [x2], Mastered Power [x5], Super Elemi [x13], Attuned Super Elemi [x20], Unleashed Super Elemi [x32/x24], Mastered Super Elemi [x35], True Elemental [x45], False God [x56/x55] True God [x60]
So this little squirt was actually one of the people she was expected to fight alongside? Granted size was far from everything in a fight. The large power she was sensing from this individual was proof of that much. Not to mention that she had also been picked for this tournament. If the Universe truly was on the line, then these gods weren’t going to pull any punches and recruit the very best for this event.
That being said, this person still didn't look all that impressive. And of course no matter how strong they were, they weren't an Arlian. Mospira didn't like any kind of competition when it came to strength. She tended to wipe out anyone who posed any kind of threat to her power. This person would suffer that same fate once all of this was over.
Mospira leaned down, her upper body bending forward until she was eye level with Serabi. Her antenna moved forward, hovering just over the Konatsian. The compound eyes on the crown of her head were now very noticeable up close. She studied the Konatsian for a moment before she even said a word.
“So you are one of the other participants. I can't kill you, but you will regret it if you don't give me the proper respect. For the moment I just want to get to know my fellow team members.”
Mospira let out a hiss at the mentioning of the Gods. Oh now she hated them so!
“Who knows what they're thinking? Still as long as the deities manage to gather everyone, then that's all that matters.”
Mospira had gotten a rude awakening when she had encountered the Gods. She discovered there were some beings who completely outclassed her. She hated the position she had been put in, but had no choice but to obey the Gods.
Getting through what civilization they had, were never a rush either, and it wasn't unusual to see people like her, who weren't one of the natives. Although, until this whole thing with the Tournament of Power and all, she had never really came across anyone with this level of power.
Heard about it, maybe. But what was considered monstrous by one planet of beings, was different from her own definition. This bug and whatever the name of her species was, seemed to have it pretty good when it came to power. The lack of anything wild around her, implied that this was all just natural strength. Something that didn't need any kind of transformation, which was a lot more than she could ever say about her own race of people, who required one.
That kind of thing took some time too, so no doubt it would help out when they had actually got to the event. Might even manage to last past the first round, assuming this other universe competing for their own existence, wasn't too hard on them. But that was just her, and how she saw fights.
The alien having to lean over, giving an even closer view of that carapace body, and those bug eyes, had her raise an eyebrow. What slightest of movements that could have happened, would have really changed the mood more than it already had, from having to feel a higher power weigh down against her.
Though the confidence also coming from the alien, was easily making it get there. Expecting her for anything, was always going to wind up being a letdown. If only because the purpose of leaving her planet in the first place, had been to go see new things, and move at the kind of pace that she wanted.
"Yeah, I hear you alright."
But there was a difference between hearing and seeing eye to eye. The whole being told she would die, wasn't anything new. She would say the alien might have been one of the few who could back it up though, if not for the wolf also in the tournament, and had made it pretty clear he had the same goal.
That wasn't anything to really bring up though. Not when it sounded like this chick was the demanding type, even when they were seriously talking about getting acquainted. She would have asked if the alien was positive that was what she had wanted, but that was for a different type of person here.
Besides, even if she didn't just straight up call out how much she disagreed, she was sure something was going to go wrong anyway. Her luck wasn't really the best around, if that kind of thing were to really be believed. They clearly also had a bit of different attitudes here towards the tournament.
"I usually make people bleed when it comes to fighting, I guess. Ki attacks are practically nonexistent."
Nevertheless she had shrugged at the demand in talking about something, saying the first thing that was on her mind. It might have been about the tournament, which she had really wanted to bring up earlier, but she had practically been asked to bring up something, instead of the other way around.
Bringing up the recruiters of the tournament seemed to have struck a nerve, which had the corners of her lips ever so slightly twitch to a smile. She could actually guess the reason why for the hate. If this chick had some kind of complex to her, then actual gods would no doubt would be a problem.
"Well with this being a tournament and all, the winner's supposed to get the big prize. I would hope everyone else who helped, would get training or something."
Base [x+1/x+0], Enrage [x2], Mastered Power [x5], Super Elemi [x13], Attuned Super Elemi [x20], Unleashed Super Elemi [x32/x24], Mastered Super Elemi [x35], True Elemental [x45], False God [x56/x55] True God [x60]
Well, this person wasn't being the most disrespectful person she had ever encountered. She still didn't bow before her though like everyone in her presence should. Still, perhaps this person wasn't used to having to obey anyone. The fact that they were chosen for the tournament meant that they must be pretty strong in their own regard.
“You look to be a very plain individual. It's important for each person to have their own unique talents in addition to their strength. Perhaps you are hiding some sort of secret ability that you're saving for the tournament.”
Mospira backed up a few step, her upper body straightening up again. This person had a unique way of approaching things to say the least. Their fighting style seemed rather questionable.
“You simply make opponents bleed? You aren’t going to last long if that's your main method of inflicting damage. Our opponents are going to be able to use ki proficiently, I’m sure of that much.”
This individual had brought up a fairly good point. For any other person anyway. But she was no ordinary individual. She smirked down at the Konatsian.
“Whether or not I get additional training is irrelevant. I’ve been fighting all my life. If you want extra training though, then be my guess. Go and ask the Gods for some pointers. I’ll be winning the prize regardless though. Even if there somehow are people stronger than me, all I have to do is defeat the most opponents.”
Mospira was very confident in her ability to perform well in the tournament. Fighting was one of the things she was best at. With the arsenal she had at her disposal, she was sure to be a fearsome opponent for anyone she went up against.
It was kinda hard to argue against that, when she had someone this giant right in her face. But it was also something that didn't need arguing. Bugs had some kind of weird hierarchy, didn't they? And this chick looked like what one would have been, if they had somehow grew to be this giant.
"Sounds more like you're used to something different."
That was her best guess, if she was even close to thinking along the same lines as this alien. She was talking about appearance or something, right? Cause they had barely even talked for a few minutes, and she figured it must have looked pretty weird for this chick, meeting someone without a carapace.
The whole hiding power thing wasn't really wrong, if that was also what the bug was saying. Who would really always flaunt that kind of thing around, besides what she was already feeling from this chick? It would be hard to go anywhere without getting attacked, or having people shake.
And she wasn't the type to always be in the mood for that kind of thing. Not when it didn't always make life easier. It was one of the reasons why she didn't bother to really train all that much. Traveling from place to place, brought out a lot more out of her than fighting probably did.
"Are you saying you're not suppressed?"
Though fighting wasn't a bad thing either. A couple of the planets she had been to, just had it bad because they weren't strong enough to fight. Nothing which was really her problem, since she was only passing through. Still, it was obvious it was like that because they couldn't defend themselves.
"Hey, it's worked for me before."
A shrug came from her. The proof of that was from what power she had already built up for herself. But that probably didn't mean as much to someone that had this kind of power. Especially if they probably weren't going to see it until the actual tournament had happened. What really mattered anyway, was not having the alien assume she wasn't going to take that whole thing easy, until it was too late. She was probably one of the weakest of this team.
She had no problem with that either. Getting stronger wasn't anything she had ever really aimed for. All of this power had practically just came to her, having to fight people who started one. The bloodshed that came with it, was just something she got used to. It wasn't a good fight without it.
"You can probably count on it, yeah."
Asking these deities for training. Sure, why not? She wouldn't even have to really wait and see if they had won the tournament either. The idea was there, whether it was likely or not to happen, because of some ruling or whatever. She just wanted to see what those guys could really even do.

Mospira snorted, her wings fluttering briefly in irritation. She wasn't used to anyone talking to her like this at all. Yet a bunch of people seemed to think they were on equal ground with her or superior to her in some way.
"It has nothing to do with what I'm used to. If we don't have unique warriors with strength on our team, then it will be easier to deal with whatever vermin we have to suck dry during the tournament. I've seen plenty of species like yours before. You bipedal lot have spread and populated most of the Galaxy."
This was coming from an insect of all things. It seemed like she viewed every other species the way most people regarded bugs. This person though... didn't seem disgusted or intimidated in the slightest. Just who was she exactly?
“My power is always at this level. I no longer have a transformation like most others tend to have. My natural state is superior to most others released power.”
Mospira smirked down at Serabi. It was quite a claim, but it wasn't without credibility. The fact that she had gotten picked for the tournament of power said much about her strength. Even if she was the weakest fighter on the team, that statement she made would be true.
The Arlian queen scoffed at her fellow teammate. Her style didn't sound that effective on paper. Yet she had been chosen for the tournament. Maybe there was some merit to just focusing on cutting your opponent open.
“Just don't screw up my chances of survival and win. If you can get training from those Gods, you can make yourself useful.”
Mospira was convinced that she was one of the stronger ones on the team. She had never met anyone who could best her. Although she was going to be in for a rude awakening once she met the rest of the team.

It was time for Jinzo to begin gathering the fighters. The tournament would be at hand soon, and the God of Destruction wanted all of the fighters gathered on the same planet. Jinzo had already secured the Metalman, while the Kaioshin was gathering the Crocolisk and the Canidite. The large Green Yardrat flew with his surrounding white aura across the open planet searching for their power levels, his keen senses tracking large sums of energy. He in turn was also not suppressed - his full power made clear for all to feel on the planet. He wanted them to realize he was coming. Hopefully the immensity of his power would let them know that they should not test him or try anything. Aside from three other mortals in this universe, Jinzo was the strongest around by far. They were not on his level, nor should they consider themselves as such.
Coming to a stop in front of them - the Yardrat Warrior began to descend in front of the two slowly. His face was a serious, stoic stare towards the two females as his feet lightly touched ground in front of them. "You are Queen Mospira, and you are the one known as Serabi, correct?" he asked both of them, his black eyes flickering in the light. "The tournament draws near. It is only a few days away, and the Gods want us all to be in the same place until the tournament so that it's easier for when we all depart." he said.
"I suggest the both of you make your preparations. I expect you two to do your parts...," he said while crossing his arms.
