Several minutes after his awakening, the Anubian was still seated from where he was with a thoughtful expression upon his canine features, though it soon changed into a frown as his eyebrows lowered slightly, giving him quite the stern expression as he tried to think things over from what could have happened to awoke him from his rest on this strange backwater planet he was under.
A feeling of melancholy hit him quickly suddenly, making him blink his eyes in astonishment as he tried to think of why he'd feel like that and the answer quickly came to him after a few seconds. "Oh, I see. The Balance has shifted again, awakening me from my stasis state, so that means my duties as an Entity of Destruction are needed once again." Finally having enough energy to stand up, the Anubian stood to his full height of five foot seven inches and looked around to get a general idea of his surroundings.
It was a plain clearing with a grassy meadow and a few strange leafless trees here and there dotting the lands, in front of him stood an ancient oak tree overlooking a small hill that gave a clear bird's eye view of the whole region, which he used to his advantage to get a feeling of where he stood in his strange rock. He could see many strange creatures roaming around the lands and the surrounding oceans, from the smallest to the tallest and the harmless to the dangerous looking ones. Walking forward until he stood on the edge of the hill the male realized that he was on a small island and that others islands were scattered across the planet, like missing jigsaws of a puzzle that a child couldn't bother to properly connect and instead threw across in a temper tantrum.
"What a quaint looking planet," Cervez muttered under his breath before a shriek resounding through his eardrums making him slowly close his eyes as a slight headache pounded at the back of his mind thanks to that annoying noise. Opening his eyes the male apathetically stared at the dangerous opened jaws of some bizarre creature of the watery depths that he couldn't care to find the name about, all that he knew was that it looked enormous with a serpentine body and ready to eat him whole for a midday snack as it lurched forward. "The population leaves a lot to be desired, however." With a casual jump backward the male lets himself hover in the air and out of reach of the beast, who too late to turn its head to redirect its trajectory slammed its opened maw on the rocky hill with a slam and a shriek of pain.
"Try again," Crossing his arms behind his back calmly, the Anubian watched with half-lidded eyes as the watery serpent shook its head to clear the cobwebs from its head and turned to roar at Cervez angrily while lurching forward once again. "Not fast enough. Try again and do it better this time." It was easy to weave and evade the water serpent's mad strikes since they were so uncoordinated and without purpose besides its reckless hunger to fill its belly with food and more food. "Pitiful. You have one last chance to eat me, you better use it wisely." His answer was an angry roar from the serpent as it suddenly dived down the water and disappeared soon into its murky depths. "Ah, I see. Trying to use the watery depths to your advantage to hide in order to catch me off guard, a noble effort that would have worked with another feeble creature of this planet, but unfortunately for you, however..."
With a sonic boom, water was suddenly sprayed everywhere when the serpent reemerged to the surface beneath Cervez's feet, jaws open wide to eat the Anubian once and for all, believing that it had gotten the best of out of Jackal-humanoid with its tactic. "I'm different." With a casual air, the Anubian held his index finger and pointed it right at the open jaws of the beast while channeling his energy before shooting a purple energy beam from his fingertip, the purple beam entering the beast's jaws and down into his gullet before it burst with a fiery blast of energy once it reached the stomach of the water serpent, as it did so the creature gave off a dying shriek of pain as it thrashed about before finally stilling and flopping like dead weight into the murky waters, finally dealt with and out of sight. Though something felt out of place with all of this...
Though something felt out of place with all of this after a few moments of silence passed... "Hmm... strange..." The Anubian was thrown, feeling that something was wrong with his body. "That blast should have been enough to completely evaporate that creature from existence and perhaps even the planet I'm standing on." Still hovering in midair the Anubian suddenly sat down Indian style with his legs crossed over one another and closed his eyes to think for a moment. "I feel like I wasn't even using 10% percent of my true power but it still seemed weak in comparison with my power at the base." Humming underneath his breath the Anubian reached a conclusion after a few minutes of silence beside the waters shifting to and fro across the islands down below. "It seems the Balance saw fit for me to start over from scratch instead of at my ultimate peak performance; a strange notion but not an unwelcoming one." Opening his violet eyes the Anubian stood up from his seated position and surveyed his surroundings once again.
Down below he could see the blood stained waters shifting and bubbling as other smaller predators from its depths ate out the carcass of the water serpent, next looking up and in the distance he could see many more of the islands like the one he stood upon but strangely none of them had the same large and ancient looking oak tree as the one he awoke did. A strange anomaly to be sure but not one that piqued his curiosity enough to investigate it. "I need to find some civilization if there is one, perhaps they will tell me more about this planet." The fact that he was planning on blowing it up not mere moments later was not important in the grand scheme of things, what mattered was that he needed information and once he had it he would be on his merry way out of this piece of rock.
Finding civilization proved almost simple with his Ki sensing abilities, besides the myriad of others creatures that possessed a fair amount of Ki, the inhabitants of this planet had a more different Ki than the fauna of this planet which made them easily stand out for his godly senses. They were approachable and at ease with his presence but some of them remained wary as if they could feel he was nothing but trouble down to the marrow.
Their physiology was strange, to say the least once he got a good look at them, they looked like anthropomorphic reptiles with feathers on the back of their necks and elbows that almost looked like wings at a passing glance and they communicated with an eerie sounding thrilling noise that they made with a chamber at the back of their noses and throat. He occasionally saw them on and about the village as they moved around it, their facilities were almost nomadic like and spartan with how little they needed to survive besides water, food and a shelter over their heads, though they were almost primitive in their way of life they had a guru that guided and nurtured them like a father figure would with his children.
It was thanks to this guru and his chamber filled with knowledge ready for him to sink his claws into that he realized he was on a backwater planet on the North Quadrant of the Galaxy, and that a long time has passed since his slumber took place. The guru was forthcoming with many of his questions and inquiries, even going as far as to motion him to join them on their nightly feast when the hunting party came back with the game of the day, which he did so gladly since it was a long time since he ate anything edible.
As he looked through the documents and the guru's helpful information, he became aware that it was the 1536 year on Intergalactic terms, and much has happened since he was gone. The Kold Empire unites with the Planet Trade Organization to regain their strength back and then start a war with the Saiyan Empire of Planet Vegeta, which eventually lead to it being destroyed by the Planet Trade Organization before it was brought back by what he knew would be the only thing in the Galaxy with the power to do such a thing.
The Dragon Balls from the Namekians.
There was also whispers of the Herans, monsters of war and pain or so the legends told roaming the Galaxy once again, it was interesting and almost enough for Cervez to want to find one and see how they would fair against a God of Destruction, but in his current state he merely let that thought rest on the backburner for now.
With enough knowledge to finally leave the planet, the Anubian pulled the guru aside and spoke with him to hopefully get a spaceship of some kind designed for him to leave this planet, he could survive in the void of space thanks to his godly origins but he would rather not waste the energy traveling the void for years and years before he reached his destination.
Thankfully the guru was a master of magic materialization, so it was easy for him to create a craft big enough for the Jackal-humanoid to comfortably sit through and roam the vast depth of space. The commands to control the ship were easy as well, all he had to do was speak in any language and the spaceship would do as requested with its vast amount of info that the guru managed to cram inside it when he was in the process of creating it.
There was a small party ready to see him off as he boarded the ship and left the atmosphere of the planet after a few seconds before he stopped a respectable distance away from the planet and opened the hatch to overlook its orangey tinted design and the moon that hovered away from it. "Hmmm..." Holding a hand forward with his index finger pointing at the planet, he started to gather a great amount of energy on the tip of his fingers, illuminating his surroundings with a haunting purple color that reflected against his half-lidded eyes.
Everything seemed to take a small pause as the God of Destruction prepared himself to destroy the backwater planet and its inhabitants from existence. With a "tch" sound the Anubian let a powerful beam of energy sail from his fingertip, watching with a bored expression as it reached the moon of the orange planet and exploded spectacularly after it reached the core of the floating rock, many of the rocks that floated across the vast space were attracted by the magnetic pull of the planet, and he was sure that a meteor shower would destroy some of the ecosystems and perhaps one or two villages in the planet, but through it all the planet and most of its inhabitants will still live after it was over.
Lowering his extended hand the Anubian watched the meteor shower for a quiet moment before speaking under his breath. "Consider that my thanks for your hospitality and the information you gave me, you shall continue to live, for now, so enjoy your existence in this world, for however long that may be." With another command, the hatch closed and after giving the spaceship the coordinates the craft finally left the planet alone as it zoomed across the vast amount of space with its destination clear in its database.
It would take him months, perhaps years and years before the spaceship reached the planet he was looking for, he was curious in this peculiar piece of rock that was hailed with having produced many powerful beings and enemies throughout the galaxy. This Earth sure seemed like it would be an interesting planet for sure, and he couldn't wait to finally reach it and explore it.
But would he aim to destroy it as it was his obligation to do so as an Entity of Destruction? Only time would tell.
