"So... this is the planet Earth." Cervez looked around his surroundings after leaving his spaceship, the damned thing has pulled through for so long in the vast void of space but once it had landed on earth it proceeded to fall down to pieces after such prolonged use, it wasn't much of a lost for the Anubian since he could very well get another one if he so chooses to, this planet must have some sort of advanced technology to create a spaceship for his use if he ever needed it, he had seen the cities and some other pieces of craft that the humans had created on his way here so making a spaceship so it could travel the vast cosmos shouldn't be too much problem for the humans.
"It looks rather... quaint, to say the least." Though it certainly beat some of the planets he had seen on his way to this place in the galaxy, especially that planet where everything was so dull and lifeless it looked like it was completely devoid of life. The only reason he spared such a place was because it was already dead to begin with and because...
"It doesn't matter." Shaking his head the male pushed the thought at the back of his mind and behind a door, closing it with a mental lock and key. "No need to think about that for now, I have more important things to worry about." Now that he was here on this backwater planet, what should he do? He could and try to blow it up as was his obligation as an Anubian and to continue the Balance of Creation and Destruction, but then where would the fun be from having flown all the way through the cosmos to reach this place to just simply blow it up already? He might not look like it with his default stern expression, but the Anubian liked to have fun every now and then and certainly experience new and interesting things before he had to take his job seriously.
"Hmm... perhaps I could try this planet's food?" Cervez pondered to himself as he strode forward with his hands hidden behind his back. "Or maybe challenge its warriors to a friendly spar?" It's been so long since he has battled against someone else, but not a mere warm-up or the pests he dealt with on the way to this planet, but a rather, honest to god battle against another being that would make him use his full potential.

Qrowen had been standing atop a cliff as he took a moment to think, it was something he was not used to doing back then.. in the Kold Empire when he was still very young. He was brute, uncontrollable but somehow as time passed by, he changed. All of a sudden he became a different person, perhaps for the better. Otherwise, things would have gone differently; his recovery, the birth of his Empire and probably he would have never met Baalbatos, his loyal assistant.
“It’s almost sickening to the core of how strong some of the Earthlings are here, they might end up being a problem in the future if my calculations are right. But hopefully, they won’t be a match for us once our Empire reaches its final stage..-speaking of...” - he mumbled under his breath, suddenly remembering who currently held the leadership on Kyoraas.
“I wonder how that Brenchian woman is doing with the Empire. I have no idea for how long we’ll have to stay here after all, but we can’t definitely stay more than a few months or so. Else I am not sure what’ll happen with our army-- they might as well grow rebellious towards her. Ugh, I wonder what about... Celsius. Right, that guy.” - he muttered, rolling his eyes as he thought of the Kold Demon who couldn’t even fight. A shameful persona among his species, truly.
“Oh well. If he’s still alive, I shall finish the job once we’re home.” - he said to himself, smirking slightly before he took off and flew away towards their hideout’s direction. The Kold Demon was completely unaware of the Anubian’s presence, he didn’t know how to sense Ki, nor did he wear a Scouter. As such, he was completely oblivious.
"Is that a..." Cervez trailed off as he blinked twice to see if his sights were fooling him, but after a silent beat, he realized that nope his eyesight was as perfect as ever and what he was seeing was truly there. "What is a Kold Demon doing so far out of their planet?" It was certainly bizarre, then again he heard all about the current news that happened in the galaxy some years and years ago, and it was truly impressive how everything could change if people grouped together for the same reasons.
It was fairly easy to spot the being flying up in the sky thanks to his ability to sense energy, though the Kold Demon's energy seemed inferior compared to his own he didn't lower his guard down for a second, he knew of the Kold ones ability to shapeshift into much stronger forms, almost like how he and the rest of the Anubians, as a result, could use more and more percents of their true powers in a fight or whenever they wanted to.
"What should I do... perhaps follow him and see what he's up to?" After a bit of pondering that for a short time, the Anubian shook his head. "Better not, besides whatever the Kold does is none of my business." He was about to turn and keep walking away, perhaps to find some sort of civilization or a place to find some food, but the roar of a towering and scary looking reptile creature stopped him from doing so. Looking back the Anubian saw what the earth's inhabitants knew to be as a T-rex suddenly appear close to the Kold's line of vision, its gaping maw wide open and ready to swallow the Kold Demon whole as it pounced on its 'prey'.
"So the Earth have their own little pests, huh?" With a slight narrowing of his eyes, the Anubian raised a hand and pointed his index finger forward, channeling his vast amount of energy right at the tip of his finger Cervez let a beam of energy shot from a cannon and pierce the T-rex's chest, going right through its heart and out of its back. The T-rex twitched in mid-air, its wide open eyes suddenly going completely wide as it crashed to the ground with a thundering shaking boom that rose dust clouds everywhere.
"Tch. So weak, couldn't even handle a mere finger beam, if the Earth's creatures are so weak like this, I'm dreading to even think about how their defenders would be, perhaps the tales of Earth producing extremely powerful fighters were just rumors after all?" Shaking his head the Jackal floated up and into the air until he stood at the same height as the floating Kold Demon. "Earth's critters... aren't they so fragile?" As opening conversations when it was certainly not on the top ten that Cervez would have liked to use if he was honest with himself.
As the Kold Demon flew in the skies, an Anubian had apparently noticed him but Lord Qrowen couldn’t really sense his energy, nor would he care for such a weak living being. The Kold Demon could probably be considered a weakling in his state but he was still using his suppressed form, plus he was wearing his weights which were really heavy. Qrowen didn’t really mind wearing them, especially if they were going to help him with his training, he needed a greater strength to confront certain individuals and he was going to get it sooner or later. “I guess I’d go check out on the current situation in the base. I wonder if Baalbatos has provided us a functional holographic system.” - he mumbled under his breath.
In the meanwhile, a… dinosaur? A huge creature, whatever it was, had decided to make Lord Qrowen his meal. Too bad the Kold Demon didn’t even give him a glance, but he had noticed its presence. He couldn’t even bother killing him, he would have just pierced through him from the inside of his mouth, a mere dinosaur was no match for a Kold Demon after all, even if both were lizards.
Although, all of a sudden the Anubian decided to take care of the T-Rex himself and shot a beam through it. How curious, both used finger beam techniques… he had never considered them to be that common. Most people would use actual beams or Ki wave attacks while he usually relied on his Doom Beam. The Kold Demon looked at the now dead T-Rex and raised a brow before his eyes set on the fellow alien, frowning slightly as he let his jaw drop slightly with his bio-mask hiding his mouth. “...What is that supposed to be? An earthling bunny of sorts?” - he thought to himself, floating in mid-air as he held his arms behind his back.
Either way, he decided to offer him a conversation, if that’s what he was looking for. “You’ll be surprised… once you see certain Earthlings. Yes, killing most of the creatures here would be as easy as eating a piece of cake. But, trust me… I’ve lived long enough to know of the horrors this planet can produce. Too bad they seem to be rare in these days.” - he told him, clearing his throat as he looked at him up and down.
“So, who would you ever be?” - he asked out of curiosity.
Cervez looked at the male-sounding alien with an impassive stare, it was clear he was cataloguing his appearance and power level, though it was hard to tell considering that there was some sort of mask hiding away most of the male's features; the most he could attempt to read were his eyes and body expression. "Really now?" The Anubian rose a curious brow at the Kold Demon, humming slightly under his breath as he mulled that thought over for a few seconds. "Interesting..." So the rumors weren't merely that as he was led to believe, perhaps this backwater planet really did have some true powerhouses just lying around in wait for something to drive them out of hiding.
"Oh, but where are my manners." The Anubian would make a slight bow towards the Kold Demon, his face set into its default stern expression. "My name is Cervez, and I'm an Anubian. You might have heard of us, you might not, we're not really the most silent sort considering what our job entails." The purple-furred Anubian mimicked the changeling's posture, laying his arms behind his back and adopting a leisure stand while still floating on the air. "Now you know my name, but I don't know yours." It was obvious if a bit slightly rude way to silently ask for the Kold Demon's name.
Tilting his head the Entity of Destruction regarded Qrowen with a calculating look. "Going somewhere?" He was curious but not desperately so if the alien didn't want to overshare what he was doing, it wasn't his business after all. Hearing noises down below he turned his eyes down and wrinkled his nose as he saw other carnivores crowding around the T-rex's carcass and tearing into it, staining the grounds below with splashes of crimson-colored life force. "Well, at least they will not go hungry for a few days after eating all of that meat."
Once he was done trying to come up with an actual idea of what he was, he just set his eyes to stare at him. And unfortunately, he really had no idea of what he was; he looked like one of those Zoanthropes but it was not quite like it. Perhaps he was in a transformed state or something like that because he had never seen other Zoans like him on that planet. Either way, he even seemed surprised at the mention of stronger beings on the planet, which he could understand, nobody would have ever imagined there’d be a capable warrior among all those weaklings after all.
Shortly after the Anubian assumed a respectful behavior even if he still wore that stern expression of his and actually introduced himself as an Anubian. That made Qrowen raise a brow… Anubians? He thought, did he ever hear about them? Maybe, or maybe not. He couldn’t really remember anything about them, but they ringed a bell. “I fear I hold no memory of your race, Cervez. And trust me, in one hundred twenty years that I’ve been alive… I would have remembered about your kind if they had such a clear and apparent job, or so you just said at least.” - he said, blinking slowly as he saw him mimicking his posture.
He just shrugged the matter off and decided to introduce himself, offering a respectful nod towards the fellow alien. “I am Lord Qrowen, but fear not… I am not a member of the Kold Empire, nor do I have anything to do with them. I was once, but as of now I walk on a different path.” - he told him. He was done with the stupidity of the Kold Empire, he was creating his own Empire and it was going rather well that far.
He tilted his head slightly as Cervez asked for what his business was and such bothered somehow the Kold Demon considering they had just met but he wasn’t really up to anything. “Not really. I was just taking… a look around. You may say that.” - he said before he looked down, watching the other creatures eating the now dead T-Rex. He chuckled slightly and shook his head slightly. “Heh. What a pitiful end for such a big creature, but I guess that’s what happens in a real fight. Don’t you agree?”
Cervez listened intently as the Kold Demon introduced himself, particularly taking notice of the title he had; so this Qrowen was also a Lord? Or did he just believed himself as such? It wouldn't be the first time a Kold Demon thought very highly of themselves, and perhaps it certainly won't be the last. It didn't matter as far as he was concerned, at least he now had a name to put to this man. "Well met, Lord Qrowen, a pleasure to make your acquaintances." He nodded respectfully to the Kold Demon, no need to make enemies out of someone that might become a potential ally, if not a begrudging acquaintance later on.
Curious as to what could have made him follow a different path, he voiced his interest on the matter. "Curious. What path might this be, Lord Qrowen?" Gathering information was always something that drove him forward, it is what saved him lots of trouble back when he awoke from his stasis after the Balance shifted.
He made no further motion to continue the subject of Lord Qrowen's whereabouts, realizing that pushing it might just end badly for him and the Kold Demon should they come to blows; no need for some petty fight that might attract some unwanted attention, specially those that would want to take advantage of a weakened predator and strike them down when they had the chance.
Speaking of. "Indeed, there is something worth to note, however." Cervez looked down at the creatures eating the T-rex. "Had the bigger predator been still alive, they wouldn't have thought of taking it out and instead run far, far away; afraid to become the T-rex's next meal. They are like vultures, always circling where death is close and striking against those that are weakened or dead." Shrugging his shoulders the Anubian looked back at the man. "It's almost the same in everywhere, a group of weak fighters banding together to attack a single powerful threat; sometimes it works and sometimes it ends with the group lying dead at the top predator's feet."
Blinking his eyes twice and tilting his head slightly to the side, a thought just passed through the purple-furred being's mind. "Forgive me, I'm not taking your time, am I?" Floating backwards about one foot to create some distance between them, Cervez regarded the Kold Demon with a raised brow. "If so, I wouldn't mind cutting this conversation short, I believe both of us have places to go, people to see, stuff to get done. Wouldn't you say?"
Well, at least Cervez was a good listener, the Kold Demon had to give him that. Qrowen had been a Lord since he was a child and as such he was also defined as a little lord, a nickname that he personally hated. But his Lord title currently had nothing to do with his past related to the Kold Empire, now he was nothing more but an actual Lord leading what one day should have become an Empire. Colonies were already growing and there was little left to do to take its lead as Emperor and proclaim his new assistants in the Empire with their respective titles. “Likewise, Cervez.” - he replied politely, looking at him curiously as he asked about his path. He didn’t know if there was anything to worry about with this… talking bunny of sorts, he seemed like someone trustworthy after all.
“Well, I’ve been working on my own project… separated from that forsaken old Empire. The wisest choice I’ve ever taken if you’d let me say, but as you can guess, I’d rather share too many information… especially in a place like this. I’ve been working with my assistant on this for years, and as of now we’re nowhere ready to actually show ourselves to the universe.” - he said, clearing his throat as he limited his speech as much as he could.
He couldn’t tell how long it was still needed for his Empire to emerge but he knew he needed as many allies as possible and perhaps Cervez could lend him a hand in the future, but he could not be certain about that… just like with that Majin he met the other day with Reaper.
The Kold Demon looked down as Cervez spoke up once more and nodded. “Yes, it’s completely true. I guess an alliance is nothing more but the weaklings’ strength, but yet come to think of it… if the strongest people in the universe would form one, they’d end up killing each other for the sake of leadership and power. Although, as brutal as it could be, it’d certainly be a good show… just like this one.” - he said, chuckling a bit before he looked up to him once more.
Qrowen simply shook his head. “Not in particular. I have plenty of time after all. Then again, why don’t we use this chance for you to tell me more about what… your job entails, or so you said earlier at least.”
Stopping himself from leaving since the Kold Demon felt like chatting, he listened intently to his little tale and nodded in acknowledgement. "I see. Quite the path you're taking, I can see that you and your associates would get many blocks along the road, but nothing that a united force can't handle, hm?" He had an inkling that the Changeling wasn't being forthcoming with all the information about this pet project he had going on, but then again if he went around speaking of his secrets plans to complete strangers then Lord Qrowen would be nothing but a stupid old fool.
He didn't to not push the issue if the Kold Demon wanted to tell him he would come forth in time. Instead, he focused on the present and couldn't help but chuckle at his analogy. "Quite indeed, Lord Qrowen. I haven't seen such organizations last very long because of it, since it normally ends with pain and much bloodshed as they bicker with each other, trying to settle a petty score on who dominates who. It would be pitiful if it wasn't so pathetic." Finally, the carnivores left after getting their fair share of the T-rex's carcass, leaving almost nothing but bone and marrow on the ground, perfect for the worms to make a meal out of it later.
"If you must know..." Cervez said, acting coy for a few seconds. "Our race is, as I said beforehand, know as the Anubians; creatures tasked with keeping the Balance of the world in check." It was quite the shortened description of what his race was meant to do, but it was the easiest to understand in the long run unless the male wanted to know more about his race. "It's quite a hazardous job, especially when other beings refuse to let us do our job and want to stop us." He didn't mention the fact that sometimes it was also really tiring, snuffing out the lives of so many beings all at once to keep the Balance in check, merely so the world shall keep on going undisturbed...
It was almost too much sometimes, but he would continue to grin (metaphorically speaking) and bear it, after all, it was a task entrusted to his race, and he would withhold it the best he could.
