A flash of light erupted over the lush green plains of Namek. The blue luminescence faded away to reveal the young Supreme Kai of the North standing calmly. He was wrapped up in a long, white cloak with a hood that sheathed his head. Maikeru did not want to bring any unwanted attention to himself until he could properly ascertain Komatsu based on Tomoroko's, the Guardian of the Eastern Kaioshin, recommendation (read Conference Among the Heavens to know more).
The Kaioshin began to feel out all the power levels the existed on Namek. If Komatsu was indeed almost as powerful as his brother, finding his presence would be an easy task. Following the pull of the strongest spiritual power on the planet, Maikeru began to make his way into a nearby village. The Shinjin held tightly onto the interior of his cloak to ensure no mishaps this time. He would prefer his divine status to remain hidden for the time being. As he had unfortunately learned on Brench, many ill-willed mortals would take or kill Maikeru if they had the chance.

The saiyan village that Maikeru walked into would seem rather... normal to the Shinjin. There were saiyans milling about minding their own business, children roughhousing in the streets and even a few Namekians come to meet their new neighbors. The village was still being constructed however and everywhere you looked there were signs of building being built by various saiyans and hybrids, Komatsu being one of them. Koma strongly believed that everyone needed to pull their weight in building this new alliance, and that included building their homes. He was often found out helping in the construction of various houses and establishments or training those saiyans that sought it.
Koma had been busy at work whenever the Kaioshin walked into town and found himself unable to even sense the deity when he did so paid no mind. However, as the stranger walked into town he earned his fair share of glances. The saiyans here were still extremely suspicious of outsiders no matter how hard Komatsu tried to create a feeling of acceptance. Their wounds were still too fresh to completely disregard a stranger that was hiding his features.
(I'll RP Tomoroko on Komatsu for now so it's not too fragmented)
Tomoroko seemed to pop into existence on planet Namek once more, tucking the amulet away within her shirt as she did so. She barely noticed that she had arrived within the same room as her mother.
"tomo!" She heard the elder saiyaness exclaim with excitement, causing Tomoroko to turn around quickly and smile at her mother brightly.
"Hey mom. Sorry to pop in so suddenly... I need to talk to Komatsu, is he around?" She asked Kyuri who shook her head no and found herself unable to stay away from her daughter. Kyuri stood up and moved forward, drawing Tomoroko into a tight hug which caused Tomo to laugh as she hugged her mother back.
"Koma's out helping the others build today. Sorry kiddo, but gosh I miss you... is everything okay? You coming here means something's wrong, usually." The elder saiyaness teased to which Tomoroko chuckled again, pulling out of the hug and heading outside of the home with her mother in tow.
"No, nothing's immediately wrong... There's just something I need to talk to Komatsu about." She explained, to which Kyuri sighed as she locked the door behind them then followed Tomoroko through town.
"It's about Nasu isn't it?" She asked softly, and judging by the look in Tomoroko's eyes when she asked the question she knew she was right. It was hard on her as well, seeing as she had been responsible for him after Tomo and Nato died.
"Yeah... just... Someone's come to meet with Komatsu, I just want to make sure it goes smoothly." She stated as they rushed out to find the young saiyan.
When they did eventually find him, Komatsu found himself staring at Tomoroko blankly, almost as if he'd been looking at a ghost. He hadn't actually encountered his mother when she was on Earth, seeing them off to Namek... as far as he knew, the last time he had seen her was when he had died and met them in the afterlife.
"M...mom... what are you..?" He began to ask, stumbling over his words as the saiyaness approached him with a smile on her face. What was she doing here? how was she here? His eyes darted to her halo to confirm she was actually dead, but it did little to sooth his now aching heart.
"Hey kiddo, how are you doing?" She began, and the two moved into a deeper conversation, talking about anything and everything that had happened since Tomoroko had been able to grant Komatsu his life back. Finally, the subject of their visitor came up and tomoroko tried to stress the importance of it without giving too much information which had Komatsu on edge already. Just who was this strange person she wanted him to meet with? He supposed he would find out one way or another but it worried him that she would have just brought someone so important into their camp after what happened.
“I’ll talk to him… I don’t know what you’re planning mom but… I trust you so I’ll at least listen to what he has to say.” Koma agreed with a nod, glancing between his mother and grandmother before being led back to the center of town where the central citadel was being built. There, he would meet with Maikeru when he arrived.
Tomoroko let her aura flare slightly to let Maikeru sense the familiar energy so he would know where to go.

Negi had arrived on Namek a few weeks ago, when Whis gave him a ride. He was severely injured by the fierce attack from Nasu, which blew one of his kidneys, giving him internal bleeding. Luckily for him, with Kyuri on Namek together with the Alliance Remnants, they were able to quickly heal him. To make things a little bit better, almost like a consolation prize, he gained himself a small zenkai boost, reaching new heights in Power Level, much welcomed things considered; they were at a very dire situation with so few saiyans around and divided into two factions and right now he was considered a traitor to the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom, something he felt a little bad, since, after all, they gave him his revenge. But there was only so much he could keep up with, and Nasu was way overboard with his ego, trying to become a real god and everything. At this point, though, Negi could only hope he would fail, but oblivious to him, Nasu had indeed ascended into godhood.
After he had healed, though, Negi didn’t train a lot. He preferred to lay low for a while, to focus on his daily duties, which he chose quite simple ones, such as building; there was plenty of building to be done now that they were adamant on settling on the green planet. Negi thought Namek looked very dull and he hated the fact that there was almost no meat to go by, but they were adapting and the namekians were kind enough to even accept them, considering the fact that saiyans didn’t have a very good fame to begin with.
Suddenly, though, as he was working on a building, he noticed a ki energy suddenly appearing, strong enough to mask another one, much lower. Negi frowned his brows and carefully walked towards those energy sources. He was a bit iffy, some may say, but who could really blame him at this point? He was a runaway and he was half-expecting Nasu to send his goons to try and capture him. If that was the case, he thought, it would be better to just give himself in and avoid a fight that could result in the deaths of people from both sides and, as much as he despised the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom, he didn’t want his race to face extinction.
To his surprise, the person he saw was Tomo, who was talking to Kyuri and then approaching Komatsu. The halo above Tomo’s head bothered Negi a bit, as he found it weird how some of the dead could come back, while his parents never did; maybe that was a privilege of heroes of some sort, which made him wonder: would he be able to come back should he die? He wasn’t quite sure.
Negi followed them from the distance; he was still wearing his battle suit, but he was now thinking about dropping it. The Remnants offered a new beginning and he felt like he could embrace a bit more of his earthling blood and chill out. As he approached them, he saw Komatsu getting close to hooded figure and, even though the energy signature on that creature was quite low, he could feel an odd pressure from his ki. ”Who is that, anyway?” he thought to himself, but since Tomo was the one leading him there, it didn’t seem like a trap or anything, but he thought it would still be better for him to be close by.
The red-haired hybrid made himself known as he approached. He had a serious expression on his face, and he made brief nod to Komatsu and Tomoroko.
As his spaceship began to approach the coordinates for Namek, Chris couldn’t help but smile to his former master’s homeworld. He had always heard of this place from him when he was younger but never had he actually had the chance to see it till now. Frankly, he was quite excited to say little to speak. He may have been an outcast typically to the Saiyans, but a majority of them were still family to him even if he wasn’t fully one of them any longer by blood. He was tapping further and further into these Angelean powers, reaching heights that grew further and further. Frankly, he didn’t know any angelean who had reached the points he was at now. Then again he found it hard to find others any way that shared such blood. He remembered believing he was all alone before meeting Ulixes and Xai. Finding them had brought him the tiniest bits of hope that maybe his newer species was still around out there somewhere.
Speaking of Xai, the recent news he had received by telepathy was all but worrying, Nasu had achieved godhood. That kind of power was more than enough to be worrying, but his most upfront shock had been to who had helped him achieve it. While Xai had admitted to helping to fit in with the part. Chris was most shocked by the fact that Tomoroko had been there! His aunt had been there to help Nasu and just the thought left him with confusion. Why had she helped Nasu of all people? Surely she could have seen the dark path he was leading right? Truly the whole thing left him with vast confusion. Why had she helped him of all people with something he obviously did not plan to use for the good of others. All of it just left him with a block of pure confusion. He just couldn’t figure it out…
As he sent in his launch codes and began to dock, he began to exit his ship with Ulixes. “So this is Namek huh? It’s quite strange indeed, very different from Earth.” Ulixes would speak as she would gaze around. “It is indeed, hey Ulixes do you mind staying here with the ship while I go check in with Komatsu? I should be back shortly, though I sense some powerful energies around him..and some quite familiar ones.” Chris would say in response to his friend. Only for a quick nod of approval from her. Taking off he was quick to rush in at full speed towards his cousin, his sight bedazzled by the new Capital before him. It truly was a beauty indeed. He had moved with intense speed to slip past a few of the guards quickly. After all, he had wanted to see his cousin as soon as possible, he needed to give him the news after all.
The sight he saw before him, there she was, Tomoroko, Komatsu..Negi..and some strange figure. “Cousin I came like promised, I did promise you a spar after all and..Negi! It’s good to see you again my friend! I’m truly surprised at how much stronger you’ve grown..” Chris would say in a happy mood before turning towards Tomoroko, a frown quickly forming. ‘How could you do it Aunt Tomo, how could you help him reach godhood after what he’s done, after what he will most likely do!’ Chris would send via telepathy, he didn’t want to involve his cousin in this drama. He was expecting a surprise from Tomo on how Chris knew, but he had his own spies. Frankly, however, he didn’t know how much trust he had in her after this, however.
Then there was this mysterious stranger as well, it was strange, their ki felt similar to Mar’s and the other kaioshin he had met before...was it possible that this was one of the Kais? If so then what was it he interrupted here?
The young Shin-jin continued to walk through the Namekian landscape with caution. Despite being on edge on his way to meet Nasu's brother, he couldn't help but take a moment of appreciation for the grand and beautiful world Namek was. It gave Maikeru a sense of peace similar to his own world in the other dimension. Hopefully Komatsu and his Remnant Alliance would treat this planet in better standing than Nasu has of Brench.
Still cloaked under fine, white cloth; the Kaioshin of the North entered a nearby village were he felt the presence of Tomoroko, the Eastern Guardian. He could already feel eyes of curiosity and concern gaze over his form from the various Saiyans that lived there. One thing immediately stood out to Maikeru.
No slaves.
Unlike the barbaric armies under "King" Nasu's command, these Saiyans were putting forth their own efforts to constructing their homes. Maikeru's eyes scanned to see if there were any indentured Namekians under their thrall only to be relieved that he could not find any. Throughout the dirt trails that wound past the homesteads, various Saiyan men, women and children continued their day-to-day tasks. Even Saiyan children played with one another. These "games" the young-lings played looked an awfully like miniature gladiatorial matches between children consisting of pushing, shoving and the occasional punch. Their friends would innocently cheer them on as an audience.
One of the children managed to swing a strong right cross against his opponent, causing a small girl to fall back and begin crying. Her tooth managed to be loosed from her jaw from the force of the attack. Maikeru could see Saiyan parent spring into action to console their daughter.
The Northern Kaioshin tried to walk away from the sight but he could not move his feet a single step away. He could feel the gravity of his heart pull him back. Maikeru did not want to chance making a scene or drawing unwanted attention, but he could no deny who he was; especially as he continued to listen to the girl's panic. With quick steps, still shrouded, Maikeru approached the little girl. Kneeling down nearby her and her mother. The Northern Kaioshin could hear her parent protest his approach, being a strange individual, but he ignored her protests. Maikeru reached out and touched the young "warrior" on her jaw with a single fingertip. Afterward he stood up slowly and walked away.
Without even turning back to see, Maikeru could hear the little girl spring back onto her feet with renewed energy. The parent was awestruck that suddenly her daughter's tooth managed to regrow inside her mouth in an instant. It was as if she had never lost a tooth in the first place.
Finally making his way to the opposite end of the village, Maikeru walked into a nearby construction site where he was drawn to. It took a moment for the Northern Kaioshin to scan his surroundings. Amid the construction he found a handful of Saiyans already gathered within. One of them being the red-haired Saiyan who had helped liberate Maikeru from Nasu's grasp. Another was Tomoroko ready and waiting for his arrival. Two other stout men were among them.
Withdrawing his hood, Maikeru revealed his face and white hair. The Shinjin's potara dangled from his ears. He still kept the majority of his Kaioshin garment sheathed by the white cape.
"Guardian Tomoroko," Maikeru spoke calmly, nodding as he acknowledged the East Guardian's presence. Getting straight to the point he said, "Where is this Komatsu you have told me about?"
It had been a very busy... well, the Eastern Supreme Kai had no idea actually how long he'd been trying to settle events and people in the Eastern quadrant of the universe. It had felt like years, but it was probably just a few weeks or something along those lines. With the nonsense that had been going on in the Afterlife as well, it was a mess of paperwork that he'd become aware of after relocating the species on planets closest to Brench.
The fact that Nasu now had the damned seed was a concern of his, and the Supreme Kai of the East often wondered why that damned plant had been allowed to continue to exist, sighing as he remembered the centuries long debate that had risen from that very question. It was believed in the end that the mortals wouldn't dare to use it recklessly, and now that decision was coming back to bite them in the arse.
"Tomo, I'm back... don't suppose you know how to make that brown liquid thing mortals drink?" he asked as he returned to his home before blinking and looking around. "Tomo?" he inquired, before stretching out with his senses and locating her on Namek. "Huh... now what's going on there eh? Oh please tell me it's not more family drama pleeease!" he groaned before Kai-Kai-ing his way down there.
He appeared next to Tomoroko, wearing his armour, before blinking at the sight in front of him. "...You're the new Northern Kaioshin eh? Sorry I haven't met you properly. Been a little occupied. Races to relocate, artifacts to hide, been helping Yemma's people a bit as well with soul relocation. There was a bit of a paperwork mess, aaaand I did kinda owe him a favour before he..." he said, rubbing the back of his head before looking around himself, taking in the fact that there was a lot more Saiyans on Namek than he had considered there being.
"So... apparently I've missed something. Unless the Namekians suddenly had an evolutionary shift into something resembling Saiyans..." the Eastern Supreme Kai trailed off, looking towards his Guardian for hopefully some updates or answers to this thing. "Oh, and also... does this place have that brown liquid thing that mortals like to drink? Kowfee or something like that I think its called? Could do with a stiff one right now."
Tomoroko had only met Negi once before in passing, so whenever the red headed saiyan approached she would offer up a smile and a small wave, her focus then shifting to Komatsu who had a rather serious expression on his own face. You could tell that she had only made him uncertain about the whole situation by remaining vague about it, but at least he had been willing to hear Maikeru out.
And that was when chris arrived. At least he seemed more relaxed than everyone else around them. He even greeted Komatsu pretty casually and sounded excited by Negi's presence there. However, underneath that happy exterior, his thoughts pushed into her mind causing the saiyaness to tense up. Not only because he pushed his thoughts onto her but because of what he knew. How did he know that? How did he know she had been there? The only obvious answer was that someone there had been a spy and had told or even showed Chris everything. Well, that didn't matter too much in the end, and she wasn't about to start digging for who it might be.
<Before you get too upset there are good reason's for it. It didn't matter if I was there or not, he would of managed to do it without me. At least this way, I know how it's done. I've come face to face with godly ki that comes from a mortal and not a god. If Nasu had become a god without any of us around, do you think he would have been so willing to share the instructions on how to do it to you, or to Komatsu? By helping him, I can level the playing field.> She projected silently, her gaze shifting to Mar as he suddenly popped into existence next to her. Her heart began to race furiously as if she had just been caught red handed in the middle of an under handed deed. she took a deep breath before turning her full attention on Mar.
"You're back! You've been gone forever and a day! I hope everything's gone well enough, I've been keeping an eye on things but... you didn't read the letter I left you did you?" Tomoroko asked with a lopsided pout towards her partner. Mar needed to be filled in on what was going on, and she had hoped the letter she left behind for him would have done that. That's when Maikeru finally arrived on scene, addressing her and asking which one was Komatsu...

Koma listened intently to what his mother had to say, to her explanations of what she had been doing since the last time they met to what she had been doing recently. Tomo even told him about the boy she had brought into the alliance, Tokibi. Komatsu hadn’t met the boy yet but he had definitely seen him around. If he didn’t look so girlish he would have fit right in with the others here. He didn’t mind the boy too much, he kept to himself and really just looked like he needed a place to stay, so long as he pulled his own weight and didn’t cause trouble, Koma didn’t mind having him around. It was just one step closer to accepting anyone that wanted to follow their new way of life.
Whenever Negi approached the group Koma’s serious expression began to fade, smiling a bit as he stepped over to Negi and pat the warrior on the shoulder.
“Negi, how are you holding up? You shouldn’t be pushing yourself too hard you know.” He said to his friend with mild concern. He knew Negi could handle himself, but after a fight with Nasu he could only imagine how the saiyan hybrid was feeling. It hadn’t been easy for Koma who had been able to keep up with Nasu to some extent… he could only imagine what it was like for Negi. It wasn’t just about the battle, it was what that battle represented…
He then peered over Negi’s shoulder when he felt Chris’ familiar energy approaching, raising an eyebrow curiously as he approached. He hadn’t expected his cousin to hurry over to Namek so quickly! He supposed he had promised to train him so it was good enough incentive… but it still surprised him for some reason.
“I didn’t think you’d come by so soon, Chris. Welcome to Namek. Not too bad here hunh? It;s not like planet Natto but it’s nice here. The Namekians have been very receptive to having us here.” He explained before yet more unexplained guests arrived. These two however he couldn’t really sense all that well. He looked at his mother curiously, wondering just what the hell was going on for all of these people to suddenly be here… just what was going on? Already with just Koma, Negi and Chris it was quite the powerful gathering of people… then there was his mom and these two strangers, who knew what they had in store.
One of the beings began to speak to his mother and the other stranger and Komatsu had to blink several times as he looked between one being to the other, Mar’s words ringing clearly in his ears.
“You’re… a Supreme Kai? What are you… I mean… uhm...Wait you’re looking for me? Mom is this who you were talking about?” Komatsu seemed completely thrown for a loop, never having met a kai before. Of course thanks to Jarvis he knew of them but he never dreamed of meeting them. They were technically gods weren’t they? Gods of creation or something he had read? He looked from Maikeru to Mar who had asked about coffee, and if he was also a Kai, then he felt obliged to find him some.
“Sorry for all the confusion, we’re what’s left of the Saiyan alliance that isn’t out to murder every race that’s ever posed a threat… If you guys would just follow me back to the Citadel then I can definitely see if we have any coffee.” Komatsu would say, trying his best not to be impolite to these beings. He didn’t fear them or anything of the sort, but he still felt they deserved some form of respect… at least until they lost it.

Negi shrugged a bit. ”I’m hanging in there. My body is fully healed, though… Don’t worry; I won’t exert myself with work, not yet at least.” he said, giving Komatsu a somewhat bitter smile. Negi was at peace for following his heart, but duty said he was a traitor since, after all, he was part of the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom and this very same faction ensued he got his revenge, and here he was now. But he shook his head as there was no use thinking about this right at this moment, there were far more important matters going on now that even the dead was among them.
Christopher arrived next and Negi cracked a smile upon seeing his friend and rival. He could sense that Chris’ power level was higher and, although it was still lower than Negi at base, he was far stronger when they pushed their ki to the limit and this only lit the friendly rivalry feeling the red-haired hybrid had. ”Good to see you alive and well, Chris. I’m glad Luffa was considerate enough to listen to my selfish request.” he said, remembering the time when the short saiyan healed Chris and saved his life. This thought made him think of Luffa though and Negi felt guilty for leaving him behind yet again. ”I’m sorry my friend… It’s… So complicated…” and somehow he missed the days when Nasu wasn’t so adamant on destroying everything and they were united under one flag and ideal.
After that the Kaioshin approached and, when he took off his hood, Negi recognized him as the very same God he had saved from Nasu’s grasp with the help of Queen Kinoko; he still didn’t quite understand why she helped him with that, but he wouldn’t question it. He was just glad the god was alive and well after everything that happened on Planet Saiya. However, another Kaioshin joined the fray and that surprised Negi quite a lot. ”Wow! Another one?!” he thought to himself in awe. This new one was far more talkative and far more informal, but the pressure from his ki didn’t deny his godly origin and, showing respect, Negi kneeled before the two gods of creation.
”Lords of creation; I’m humbled by your presence. Lord North, I’m happy to see you well.” Negi said in a humble and serious tone.
Chris would go silent hearing the returned thoughts of Tomo, by no means did he like it but, there was no choice truly in this matter, what was done was done. All they could do now was to prepare for the worst to come. ‘As much as I don’t like it, the damage is done, at least with two of us knowing how he did it can give us a better repartition with it when we need to use such a thing again.’ Chris would say dropping the conversation for now as Mar appeared. He couldn’t help but smile as he spotted the kaioshin, his thoughts going way back. Back with Shizen and Ayami and all of them. Meeting Obsidia and how invaluable their help had been. Frankly, it was nice meeting Kaioshin again, he had met the kai beforehand and one of the older kaioshin long ago but briefly. This, however, was indeed interesting of an experience. Here were two of them in the same location. “Well then it is indeed a pleasure to meet you two then now isn’t it?” Chris would say with a smile as he would approach them, oppositely to Negi’s formal approach he simply reached a hand out for a handshake. Something so casual yet to Chris it was something one could rely on. “Both of you are supreme kai’s then?” If one of them was the Northern Kaioshin did that mean one of them could be the eastern one? “I was wondering if one of you are if I ask a question? How is Obsidia doing? I haven’t heard from them in a while and I was always wondering a bit about them.” Chris would ask simply of the kaioshin before he realized something rude he had done. “Apologies, how rude of me, my name is Chris.” Chris would say with a smile, still laughing internally at his mistake of forgetting to give out his own name.
He could feel the magical energy from his own boots, they had been a mysterious gift indeed on his ship, but he had found them to radiate with the energy of a kai, almost as if they had been imbued with such power. Whenever he wore them he had noticed his speeds were indeed increased, but so far he hadn’t been able to find a proper use for them yet. Maybe one day he would find a use, but today wasn’t going to be that day quite obviously. “Negi I have to admit, if it weren’t for Luffa I would not be here today probably. I still find it rather cheap what Nasu’s Goonies had done in the first place, never would I have expected for Nasu’s group of all people to break the honor of a one vs one. I suppose they aren't as true Saiyans as they preach to claim.” Chris would say with a bit of a scoff at the end before he brushed it aside.
“Now now Koma, I told you I would head on over here as soon as I could make sure the Earth wasn’t in any imminent danger. Besides, something happened that we need to be prepared for. Your brother has...let's just say something he has done now has me worried.” Chris would say simply, his tone switching from one at first of joy to one of a deathly seriousness. “I suppose if the Kaioshin are here looking for you then they have something in mind for you as well.” Chris would say turning towards the Kaioshins in question awaiting what they had to say to his cousin, he was hoping personally for something short, the sooner they could get to training the better. Especially with the circumstances that were now at hand. Kais know how long they were safe.
"I have to admit that when Guardian Tomoroko said she would arrange a meeting with Komatsu I wasn't expecting to meet so many new..." Maikeru said as he gazed over at Chris. Maikeru could sense the youthful warrior channeling his thoughts elsewhere; preoccupied. Chris' eyes gave away that his focus was upon Tomoroko with a serious expression. Maikeru did know that Tomoroko has been dead for quite some time, perhaps it was surprising to see her in the "flesh" again. Perhaps Chris and Tomoroko had issues in the past. Whatever it was, it was not his business to pry in the matters of a brand new acquantance. If it was pertinent, the male Saiyan would have felt to speak out loud rather than let it fester inside.
"...and old faces." Maikeru spoke as he turned towards Negi. The Northern Kaioshin gave a slight nod to the red-haired Saiyan as an acknowledgement to him. Maikeru was glad to see one of his liberators of Nasu's torture alive and well on Namek. Having him ushered to safety might have been proven useful for the well-being of the universe.
"I had imagined that Tomoroko would have kept this meeting a more private matter, knowing how sensitive the issue is," Maikeru continued. "but disagreeing with what has already happened would be a waste of time at this point. I imagine that some of you may already know or can assume to why I am here, while others..."
Maikeru momentarily looks over at Mar, paying more attention to a favorite beverage than the crisis that is exploding under his watch.
"...are just learning of it for the first time."
The blue-skinned Shin-jin could feel an explosion ripple through his bones. He wanted to take Mar aside and demand answers while reprimanding him for his ignorance; his and Tomoroko's. Mar's lack of action coupled with Tomoroko's favoritism of her family allowed for all of this to happen; an unspoken permission that allowed Nasu to grow strong and kill innocent lives.
But this was no place for gods to fight or bicker. They were on duty witnessed by mortals. They needed to look the part of a deity, a sense of divine professionalism. These were some of their first interactions with the gods. It was time to make a first impression. Maikeru turned towards Komatsu with a stern look.
"If you all could please hold your thoughts until after I am finished speaking I would be most appreciative."
"I am Maikeru, Supreme Kai of the North, and I am here to speak to you about your brother," the Shin-jin warrior spoke seriously. The kai sighed. "I wish we all could have met under better circumstances such as welcoming you to the eternal rest of your afterlife. But fate has proven to desire otherwise."
"Nasu, the newly appointed King of the Saiyans, has trampled and conquered the people of Brench and seized the planet for himself," Maikeru informed the group meeting. "I have spoken to him myself to not only ascertain his character but offer him and his people a better future. In exchange for him sparring the lives of Brench, foregoing his tyrannical ways and leading his people to a more positive presence in the universe, I offered to bring back the Saiyan home world for him. But, as I discovered, he was in no right mind to hear the voice of reason."
"After unleashing violence against Brench, it's people...and even myself, Nasu has managed to call the attention of the God of Destruction. Somehow Nasu had managed to convince her to share the secrets of some kind of "Saiyan God"; secrets he unsuccessfully tried to violently "extract" from me. Now, only days ago, Nasu has tapped into this unknown powerful for himself; an avenue of strength that I feel would be catastrophic in the hands of someone has cruel as your brother is, Komatsu."
"But that is not all," Maikeru continued. "During his taunts of madness while attacking the planet, he had mentioned that seizing Brench would give him the seeds of the Tree of Might; a plant that can kill an entire world and channel the planet's energies into fruits of strength....and this was before he discovered divine power."
"Nasu, your brother, has proven himself as a man who will stop at nothing to become more powerful. With new powers at his disposal and a source of strength at the cost of innocent life, I believe Nasu is a threat to all life in the universe as we know it. If he continues unchecked, he could wind up literally eating every planet and being too powerful for anyone to stop."
Maikeru gently raised his hand, he could feel everyone in the room twisting with anxiety and ill thoughts.
"But there is hope," the Shinjin continued. "There is a window of opportunity. I, my fellow kaioshin, and the Guardian Tomoroko, can sense Nasu's divine power. Like a newborn animal it is rampant and strong but it is unfocused. He has not had time to understand and master his new abilities yet. If one waits too long who knows how powerful he could become or, even worse, whatever innocent lives he could unleash it upon."
"I have come before you, Komatsu..." Maikeru spoke while looking at the leader of the Remnant Saiyans. After he turns and looks at each individual in the room, "...and everyone here, to seek your aid whatever it may be. Trust me, I have come to you with a heavy heart on this matter. I know you all have finally begun to settle upon your new home here on this beautiful world of Namek. This crisis is the last thing I want to place over your heads. If you feel that you or your people have no business in this matter, I will take ABSOLUTELY NO offense to it."
"But soon I intend to face Nasu and his blind minions," Maikeru took a breath. "By myself if it has to be. I cannot ignore the cries of justice from the dead and the prayers of the living, especially those on Brench. The universe cannot withstand another Saiyan with dark aspirations of godhood. Whatever support you can or cannot spare, I have planned and calculated various strategies and scenarios accordingly. But before any of those possibilities can become a reality, I need to hear from Komatsu and the Remnant Saiyans first."
"So," Maikeru said while staring around the room then returning his gaze back towards Komatsu.
Mar rolled his eyes and sighed as the Saiyan knelt down before them. "Dude, seriously. Get up. Okay? Really, what is it with mortals and all the kneeling?" he asked with a sigh, pinching the bridge of his nose, well aware of the death glare he was receiving from the new Northern Kaioshin. "No sorry, didn't find your letter... probably got lost in the paperwork somewhere. There's... been quite a bit of that lately. Been working two jobs lately." the Supreme Kai of the East said, apologetically towards his Guardian.
When Chris mentioned Obsidia, the Eastern Kaioshin chuckled a little. "Well, I did send her here actually to keep an eye on... certain things, back when Jarvis was running loose and just starting up his little self-appointed role as a god. I suspect she's wandering around this world somewhere, checking the numbers and such." he said, keeping the task he'd set his Elemi agent vague, just in case the group as a whole here weren't privy to the knowledge of the Namekian Dragon Balls, assuming that those had come back into play here on Namek.
He folded his arms as he let Maikeru go on with his speech and grand plans regarding the current situation, rubbing the back of his head and sighing. "For those of you I've not met before, I'm Mar, Supreme Kai of the East, and just to give you guys some idea of how much trouble this Saiyan God stuff can be... well, it was a few centuries back or so when they last showed up, and through some rather... interesting twists, almost led to this universe's absolute and utter destruction." he partially explained, letting it sink in before he continued.
"Now, before we have to go looking for a new Northern Kaioshin when Maikeru goes on his little suicide run," he said, pointedly looking at his blue skinned counterpart before looking back at the group, "there is a way to counter Nasu's ability to reach this power. Although I suspect that my counterpart here won't suggest it because it probably terrifies him, as well it should. Because it sure as Hell scares me." said the Eastern Kaioshin, throwing his northern counterpart a verbal bone.
"The only way to counter a god... is with another god. It's why there's Gods of Creation, like ourselves," he said gesturing towards himself and Maikeru, "and Gods of Destruction. Balance is the key... Nasu has attained this power one way, but there is another, if anyone here's feeling up to it." said Mar before he smirked. "And this way, is much more powerful than the version Nasu has right now."
<No one likes the situation we're in, but we have to face it head on. Any advantage we can get, I will take it... If I have to pay the price for my actions then so be it, I'm already dead...> Tomoroko thought more to herself than Chris, but seeing as their minds were still connected he would hear it all. Had Chris known Natto he would have seen a flash of him getting destroyed in the afterlife as her mind wandered to letting herself fade from existence, just like him.
She took a deep breath though as she looked back towards Maikeru, smiling gently and placing her hand behind her neck as he mentioned just how many people were suddenly gathered around.
"Well honestly I wasn't expecting it myself, but it's a good sign to see them rallying together isn't it? I have to admit, I'm impressed! " Tomoroko jested as she smiled as brightly as she could just then. She then looked over towards Mar and couldn't help but chuckle when he said his paperwork was piling up. It was beyond true that the Supreme Kai's desk was over burdened with paper, and her letter most likely didn't help the situation, but it had been the best way she could think of to inform the Kai of her findings.
"Well, can't say I didn't try to keep you in the loop~"

"So... hold on..." There was all kinds of information being thrown at Komatsu at once and it was all rather overwhelming. For starters, Koma's heart sank when he saw Negi kneeling before the Supreme Kai's... While it was probably the proper thing to do, the saiyan was entirely to proud to bend his knee to anyone, having been so adamant about it in the past...
Then there was Chris who was pulling through with his promise to come to Namek, bringing news that Nasu had done something yet again to terrorize the universe. He really didn't want to talk about his brother, the whole situation being a rather large sore spot for him... but it seemed everyone gathered here was here to talk about just that. Komatsu brought his hand up to the bridge of his nose, taking in a deep breath before moving that hand to brush it through his hair.
"Okay... so I know what's been going on with Nasu for the most part. The attack on Brench wasn't a surprise, I was well aware of it as it happened... obviously an answer you won't like, Nothern Kaioshin... but I chose not to interfere or to get the Remnant Alliance involved. We Just lost our world, we just lost everything because of Jarvis and there aren't many of us left. It meant leaving the Brenchians to their own fate but the Remnant Alliance are who are important to me.
I don't agree with what Nasu is doing and if I could stop him I would... but we've fought many times before, and I'm not even sure Super Saiyan 4 is enough to stop him." Komatsu admitted to the Supreme Kai's as Maikeru went on to depict the atrocities that Nasu had committed. He was extremely conflicted... Nasu was his brother and he'd always idolized him since he was young, it was hard on him to see him as a villain... He didn't want to believe it but Nasu had made it quite clear. He wanted to stop his brother, but not kill him... he wanted to try and save him from himself if he could but... no one else would share that mentality, so he wouldn't have a choice but to finish it if that situation arose...
He crossed his arms as he continued to listen, Maikeru's words only fueling the turmoil inside of him.
"Nasu needs to be stopped, I agree... but I can't put my people at risk. This isn't just about me taking down Nasu, if I move against him, he won't hesitate to break his word and attack us. Yes my people are still warriors, but they won't stand a chance against the Galactic Kingdom. Not only do they outnumber us but they are more powerful. They have a handful of Super saiyans that we don't have... so even if I was able to keep Nasu busy, we're looking at a huge loss of life... I"m sorry but I-" He stopped as his eyes shifted over to Mar when he mentioned Nasu's power, and a way to become even stronger than him. Again he started to feel torn. If there was a way to surpass his brother he had to take it! but again he would be putting his people in danger if he did so... not only the Remnant Alliance but Earth as well. He had to think of all the allies he had made to secure themselves and how this would affect them.
"I can't put my family and allies in danger... Unless you have a way to guarantee me that they will be safe... I"m sorry but it's just too risky to go after him. IF I could challenge him 1 vs 1, then that would ensure that we're the only 2 getting hurt, but I"d have to be able to keep up with him for that..." He finished, his eyes still resting on Mar as he hoped the Supreme Kai would understand. If he could make Komatsu powerful enough to face Nasu head on, then he could keep any casualties to himself or Nasu... but if Koma somehow lost, then the Remnant alliance would be attacked, and in turn their allies.

Negi gulped as he felt shivers running down his spine like crazy. The Northern Kaioshin was suggesting war against the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom and, even though Negi could definitely see that his line of thought was aiming at the roots of the bad weed, there was just no way he could feel good about it. Luffa, Karota, even Miso and Fennle were still his dear friends and, even though he didn’t quite like Nasu, he still liked and felt bonded to many members of his Kingdom and thus it would be hard for him to face them in an all-out war, aiming to end their lives. The hybrid grits his teeth and closed his eyes shut, trying to hold in the anger he felt for being pushed into such a corner and now he could only hope people wouldn’t agree with that.
Komatsu however seemed to be quite reticent about putting his people on the line of fire and for that Negi was relived; he carved for peace and he hoped they could just live their lives alien to what was going on with the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom and that maybe, in the future, peace could truly be established among the two saiyan factions. But one thing was true: Nasu was a danger to the universe and with the Tree of Might, the amount of damage he could cause was definitely absurd and he could see where the Kaioshins were coming from.
Negi got back to his feet, stared at both Maikeru and Mar and sighed. ”If you excuse me, Lords…” and, politely, he turned towards Komatsu. ”Komatsu… You can’t really beat him now. And if you lose, what will keep Nasu from hunting down the rest of us? If he truly has god powers, then at best you could try to damage him enough to buy us sometime, but knowing his ambition, he will keep on searching for power and, with the Tree of Might, that will be easy for him.” he said, sighing deeply. ”And if you die, there’s nothing in between us and them.” Negi paused again. ”And even if, by some miracle, you win, the others will want revenge, and right now I may be strong enough to fight on par with the strongest of them, but they have, at the very least, seven super saiyans. Most of them my friends… We will probably help ensuing the saiyan race will be extinct.” he stated with grief in his tone. ”And I would rather not be a part of it. I won’t refuse to fight, but I doubt I will be able to put my heart on it.” he admitted.
