Hasenya couldn't quite explain the effect that Tomina's words had on her. It was what she was hoping to hear, knowing her cousin. Hell, she loved that Tomina had barked at her like that. Not as some weird masochistic thing as she might imply or suggest jokingly, but just because it brought her back to a happier place. Not this time, though. With her mind in its negative space, she felt herself submerged in all those terrible memories from her days growing up and going into adulthood in a universe that slowly fell apart around her, and all the people that she had ever known or loved died to some faceless, nameless entity that had no good reason to be destroying her life. The tightness in her chest grew to a point that it became simply unbearable, causing Hasenya to choke back a sob and collapse to her knees, hunched over and curled in on herself with her hands balled up into fists and held up to her eyes. "I-I can't take it.."
Her tears flowed freely, no matter how hard she shook or trembled or however much she cursed and yelled. It wasn't often that Hasenya cried, so when it finally broke free it was not unlike an explosion. A very messy explosion, one that couldn't be helped. Like all those mental and emotional walls she had spent years putting up and hiding behind meant absolutely nothing. Hasenya kept her balled up fists to her face, but moved her arms forward to block her chest as she leaned further forward curling up more into a ball as she cried and wailed. As much as she hated for Tomina to have to see her like this, it just couldn't be helped. Hasenya had been through so much for a person at her young age, and now that she could see her dead cousin again, sitting alive right in front of her.. It just proved to be far too much. She could hide behind bitterness and sass for as long as she liked, but there would always be rare times like this where her real colors would show, and she would be at her weakest. Having it be in front of Tomina felt much like a double-edged sword.
"I never wanted him.. to be my father. B-But it was always like I had to be the one punished for what he'd done.. I've never even met the man, but he left me with so much pain.. So fucking much." Hasenya ended her sentence in a growl, raising her fist and slamming it into the dirt in front of her. "And it never ever ever stopped there! I had to lose my mom, I had to lose Chris a-and.." She stopped, biting her lip and bringing her fist back to her face and leaning forward far enough to be burying herself in her own lap, almost. "I only knew my mom for a short while, and I never saw eye to eye with Chris.. It was you. You that really made up for the shit world we were living in. But then you had to goddamn pull that sappy ultimate sacrifice or whatever bullshit on me at the last minute! Had to leave me all alone, just some fucking.. cursed mutt. T-That no one ever fucking wanted.." Hasenya trailed off into another mess of sobs, hiccuping and shaking at her hardest.
"Fucking had to make me promise to keep on going too, didn't you?.. Gods, fucking.. fuck. Just.."

She had a cousin who came from the future, who she had helped raise. Those thoughts were the center of a torrent of thoughts that were storming through her mind. Uncertainty was not something that Tomina was fond of experiencing in any way, shape or form. Well, she was certainly unsure about things at the moment.
Tomina watched incredulously as Hasenya started sobbing her heart out. She had never seen someone sob this much before. Not even Koma cried this much when she tortured him after the war.
Under most other circumstances she would have mocked someone for showing this much weakness. Instead she sat on the ground and listened to her niece. Tomina intended to spit her two cents in on everything. She wasn’t the type to sugarcoat things though.
“You can't control who your parents are. My mother was a warmonger that brought the galaxy to its knees. That might not be the best example to use, since I’m proud to be her daughter. We have to work especially hard to escape our parents shadows. If you don’t want people to refer to you as Caesar’s daughter, then make a name for yourself. Although with your current strength, that's impossible for you right now.”
Tomina slid her legs forward, pressing against the ground firmly with her palms. She pushed herself to her feet, then used both of her hands to dust herself off. Well now at least she could have a conversation in a less embarrassing position. Tomina let out a low growl when Hasenya mentioned Chris again. He wasn't exactly on her favorite persons list either.
“Well you’ve had some strong teachers, even though I don't like either of them. It doesn't make sense that you would be this weak. Unless if the price you had to pay for time traveling was your power.”
Then Hasenya talked about how close she had been to her future counterpart. That was the weirdest part for Tomina: her behavior didn't make any sense to her. Tomina slid her hands down to her hips. She crossed her legs, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath. She exhaled, letting out a long, drawn out sigh.
“Well, you don't have to worry about me sacrificing myself in this timeline. I was obviously very drunk when I told you to run away. If I had the chance to travel back in time I would have taken it in a heartbeat. There are so many things I want to have turned out differently. I don't know why I would have put my life on the line like that.”
Tomina looked away from Hasenya rubbing the side of her neck with her palm. Her left foot slid behind her and kicked at the dirt, sending small pieces of rubble flying. Honestly she didn't know how to handle this well. Here was a relative who was bawling her eyes out. She was not good at handling this sort of thing. After about 30 seconds she looked back at Hasenya, a look of irritation spread across her features.
“Alright, that's enough out of you! You’re part Saiyan, so show some dignity and stop sobbing like a newborn! Honestly…”
Tomina walked over to where Hasenya was curled up. She slid her hands to her hips, looking down at her niece crossly. She was going to have to snap her out of this state if she wanted to make any headway with her.
“You need to get up and stop being your own worst enemy. So what if you're a cursed mutt? If people give you crap for it, get strong and beat the shit out of them. You have the blood of two of the strongest beings in the universe running through your veins. You have no excuse to give up now. Stand up, stop crying, and get strong!”
Tomina practically commanded her to get up, her eyes blazing with intensity as she looked down at her niece. She spoke to her with absolute authority. This was not the approach most people would take when trying to calm a relative down. But Saiyans did tend to have rather strange relationships with their relatives.
"I don't fucking know why you would have either! It was just.. out of left fucking field. I guess the situation kind of called for it, and did increase my own chances of survival but.. fuck. Nothing makes sense." Hasenya wheezed and huffed, retaking control of her breathing with force. She raised her fist and slammed it into the ground, doing the same with the other and then taking a shaky breath. "Their blood don't mean Jack diddly shit to me. If I get strong they ain't gonna fuckin' take credit for it. I'll get strong on my own terms, but I know I can't fight my genetics." The Elemi growled lowly, letting anger replace the mess of emotions she currently felt. Her inner temperature was rising, rising far beyond what it normally could ever since she came back. Sure enough, the ends of her hair burst into flames, a trait almost certainly inherited from her mother. To an Elemi who thought herself doomed to be firing condensed balls of hot ash for the rest of her life, it was an amazingly good sign. "You would be right about that. I gave up everything I had to come back. I lost my inner fire, but I think you just helped me get it back. Seems all I needed was a nice conversation with my mega bitch of an cousin.." Hasenya chuckled, staggering slightly as she got to her feet and reached down to brush herself off. "Of course, I mean that affectionately. Can you imagine what kind of weak ass coward I'd be if you were more like Chris or my mother? Jeeeeez." Hasenya shook her head, shaking that thought right out of her head just as quick as it had gotten there.
She was back to her old self and then some. Snarky little foul-mouthed bitch, just the way it should be. A realization struck the Elemi when she lit up the tip of her finger and brought it up to her face, one that made her smile like a madwoman. "Oh yes.. This will do just fine." She muttered and reached up to the breast pocket of her shirt, where she had been keeping a carton of certain little 'happy sticks' that her mother would roast her ass for even having on her person. "If there's one thing I don't miss about my timeline, it's that these little shits are as rare as a decent conversation with a sane individual." Hasenya stated, holding a cigarette up between her two fingers and bringing her lit fingertip up to attempt to light it. Flare might have likely been against such an act, but Hasenya wasn't too sure the same could be said about this younger version of the cousin she knew. So she wasn't about to stick it between her lips and inhale just yet, even if the effects were wildly different on her system in comparison to the effects on a human or saiyan body. It would be weird science to explain, so she would bide her time a little, simply holding the lit up cigarette between two fingers while she spoke. "Anyway.. I hate that you had to see that, but it can't exactly be helped now, and there are more important things to be stressing over. The favor I want might be fairly simple, given I'm sort of.. Half way there? Hard to say, not sure if the fancy aura counts for much."
If she had made it to this point with an apparent green light for go on having a smoke, she would put it between her lips and take a long drag. Her insides visibly aglow with a dim orange light under her shirt as the smoke burned her throat and lungs. When she pulled away, she had taken down the whole damn thing in a single drag and had flicked the butt of it aside. Her insides continued to glow, and the flames at the end of her hairs were a little more intense. And rather than exhale smoke when opening her mouth, she let out a little gout of flame almost like a tiny belch. "Yep.. Flames are back, that's the good shit." She chuckled a bit, feeling quite good with her insides all warm and tingly with the strange healing effect those usually poisonous little bastards had on her defunct physiology. When she was done being a damned weirdo, she let out a deep breath and looked back at Tomina. "I need you to help me take advantage of my father's genes. I need to become a Super Saiyan. Rose, legendary, hairy all over.. Don't matter what kind. But it needs to happen before the next three years."

Hasenya was right about one thing. Nothing made sense right now. Her whole perspective of how she viewed things was shattered. Multiple universes, time travel, it was all crazy. It was hard to wrap her head around it all.
Tomina smirked when Hasenya declared that she didn't give a shit about her lineage. Well that was certainly the right mind frame foe getting stronger.
“That’s the spirit! There are people who think they're hot shit just because they come from a strong bloodline or are close to someone strong. Whether or not you take pride in your lineage is up to you. Although genetics to play a factor in strength. Both of Natto’s kids are some of the strongest beings in existence. But blood doesn't matter if you use it as a crutch. You still need to become strong in your own right.”
There would people who mistook the strength of their lineage for their own power. Fortunately Hasenya didn't seem to be one of those people. Tomina watched with interest as her niece’s hair caught fire briefly. Yep, she was Flare’s daughter alright. She grinned widely when Hasenya delivered what would normally be an insult.
“Well I won’t deny that I’m a bitch. Of course Flare and Chris are bitches in their own ways. But you need the right type of bitch to interact with.”
Tomina watched with interest as Hasenya took a cigarette out of her pocket, and lit it using her powers. Well at least she could still use her powers for some of the essentials. Like being able to lite smokes.
“What are you apologizing for? Do I look like the type of person who cares about a habit like that? I would have smoked back when still owned planet Saiya. Saiyans with the proper mindset typically don't trade for goods, since we just tend to acquire things from our conquests. The Brechians had plenty of booze, but not much in the way of smokes.”
Without asking for permission, Tomina reached onto Hasenya’s shirt pocket and pulled out a cigarette. She raised it to her lips, snapping the fingers of her other hand with a flurish. She produced a small blue and black flame at her fingertip. She didn’t need to do any of that, but she couldn't help but make a show of it.
Tomina closed her eyes, raising the fire to the cigarette and breathed it all in. She seemed to be used to it, given by how it seemed to relax her. She opened her eyes, taking out the cigarette and blew out smoke. She gave her niece a wise grin.
“I really needed that. I’ve been deprived of my stress relievers ever since I got to this god forsaken planet. The planet is so wrecked that finding smokes or alcohol would be hard. Even if I did find some booze, I don't want to risk getting impaired before the tournament begins. I can't fight people to burn off my stress right now. All the people strong enough for me to vent properly are all doing their own special training. And I can't go for a nice fuck anymore, since I now have a mate and took a blood oath. It's been a bizarre last couple of days.”
Tomina watched with interest Hasenya’s chest glew. She decided to let that go for the time being. She was only mildly curious and they had more pressing things to talk about. Hasenya finally asked her for that favor. Surprisingly it was one that she wouldn’t mind doing.
“So you want training from me, and not Flare or Chris? I would normally make sure you had the resolve to withstand it. But considering what you’ve been through, that isn’t necessary. If you want to get strong within three years, then the training is going to have to be particularly harsh for you. You need to get to a point where your body can handle more demanding training.”
Tomina raised the cigarette back to her lips, taking another smoke before lowering her hand to her hip. She looked at Hasenya sternly, making sure that she had the full attention of her niece.
“I’ll take you under my wing, but on a few conditions. First off, you must do whatever I tell you to do. Second, you’re going to have to devote yourself to training only with me and people I say you can train with. That means you're going to have to follow me around for the next 3 years, without seeing anyone else you care about during that time. Unless if we happen to run into one of them. Finally, I’m not going to hold back just because you're my niece. I will put you through the same level of harshness I went through. If you abide by those conditions, then I will train you.”
Tomina saw a very rare opportunity in Hasenya. Carva and Rensu had not worked out as students for different reasons. Hasenya was perfect though, despite her currently low strength. Her niece liked her in the right way, and she had huge potential. Plus gravitating Flare’s daughter towards her line of thinking was an appealing idea. Hopefully Hasenya would have the resolve to accept her conditions. Otherwise there wouldn’t be much point in building her up.
Hasenya had expected a lot of reactions to her bad habits, but the oen she got definitely wasn't one of them. It was hard remembering that there was a world of difference between this Tomina, and a Tomina that was twenty years older. The differences in physical appearance weren't very huge, but then again, they were both part Elemi and part Saiyan, not to mention Hasenya had a bit of 'bad blood' coursing through her. She doubted either of them would begin to look old until a century or two from now, and she was perfectly okay with that. "Well, I've got a pretty decent stash hidden somewhere under the lookout.. Established that right after I got here. I was more willing to dig a hole in the ground under a big ass spire than rent out an apartment, seeing as this planet probably won't last too long. I give it a little less than a decade, 'less people start making some drastic changes to their training regiments." The hybrid shrugged her shoulders, not at all disturbed by her cousin helping herself to the best little relievers a fire Elemi could ever ask for. She would've done the same, had it been Tomina in possession of the cigarettes and not her. Of course, she might've been a little less bold in doing so.
She wouldn't just accept the offer without hesitation, as easy as it would have been too. It would be foolish to just not put thought into, considering all the implications. Hasenya had heard all the horror stories about Tomina's time with the Empire, and her attempts at training other people. It would most certainly be difficult, but it wouldn't be anything she hadn't experienced before having had to live with the woman for nearly a decade. "My mother is nowhere near as powerful as you, nor does she have Saiyan genes in her. What I had as an Elemi is almost completely gone, so I want to cash in on what I got from my shit stain of a father. Chris is a Saiyan, but he's also very childish and.. frankly, goddamned annoying. Twenty years didn't change that at all. I want it to be you, because you're much stronger than them, and we're on a very similar wavelength. I have to get the best results if I want to accomplish my goal. I've got to keep my promise to you, and you've got to keep your own similar promise, right? I've been through Hell and back once or twice, one more round-trip won't knock me down." Hasenya ended her statement with a broad, shit-eating grin. Like Nasu, but with good intentions, and only a little more tempting to punch. "Bring it on, cousin. Isolation from family members and friends, on top of grueling training with my favorite relative? Been there, done that. I'm totally down for round two."

Her cousin had really good tastes. She even stashed away smokes away when given the opportunity. Not only that, but she had the balls to put them under the lookout. So far she liked Hasenya.
“Wouldn't that be considered sacrilege by the Kai’s? Just stashing smokes underneath their sacred temple in the sky. Here, let me help you pray for forgiveness. It's the only way to save you from the eternal flames of hell.”
Tomina closed her eyes, clapping her hands together in an over exaggerated gesture. She hummed softly, which steadily got louder in volume. She opened her eyes and stopped, standing up straight again. She raised hand to her mouth, clearing her throat loudly.
“There, now your soul is safe. As much as I lavish the praise, I’m less powerful than your mom as I am right now. At least in a contest of strength. When I fought her earlier, the strength difference between the two of us was the equivalent of me fighting someone as strong as me while battling two Super Saiyans simultaneously.”
Tomina had been frustrated by the gap in power between them. She figured Flare would be a little stronger than her given what she had sensed the first time she encountered her. But she didn't expect the gap between their power to be that wide. Tomina slid her hands into her pockets, leaning back slightly as she continued.
“If you compared our battle capabilities though, I’m the superior fighter by far. I had the edge most of the fight despite the power difference. My techniques were more polished than hers, and I still had reserves of power I could tap into due to being part Saiyan.”
Sure Flare’s bigger strength had been a little problematic. But Tomina had answers to her and had managed to put solid pressure on Flare consistently. Sure Flare had gotten her shots in, but she was in much worse shape then Tomina was throughout most of the fight.
“Flare was clearly raised on Earth, and had seen less fights than me. She was too straightforward and kept on trying to overpower me with her superior power. If you’re fighting a skilled enough opponent, that only works if you're far above them in strength. Which was the case when Flare achieved a new transformation in the middle of the fight. I was snuffed out before I could register what the fuck happened to me.”
Tomina grit her teeth, clenching her fist tightly. It caused a short burst of blue fire to shoot out of the gaps between her finger. She still couldn't believe that she had lost the fight like that. If she had known that Elemi could transform mid fight like Saiyans, she would have risked using all her energy to wipe Flare out when she had the chance.
Tomina let out a snort when Hasenya mentioned how childish Chris was. Well some things never changed. Not even in the span of a couple of decades apparently.
“I only interacted with Chris for a few minutes, and he was one of the most pretentious little pricks I ever had the displeasure of knowing. The worst part about him is that I can’t beat him in a fight right now. He has some weird techniques that I don't have an answer for. Including an attack that apparently inflicts more damage to “evil” people. The best I could hope for fighting him is mutual destruction.”
Tomina didn't know how experienced Chris was overall in fighting, since she didn't see him battle Nasu. Although she was fairly confident she had more experience then him. Granted that didn't matter in the face of strange, powerful techniques. It really was infuriating that she had no way of defeating that ass right now.
Tomina gave her cousin a shit-eating grin that rivaled hers at her answer. She had barely hesitated before accepting her terms. It looked as though she was going to have a loyal protégé learning from her.
“Alright you masochist, I’ll give you a beating that you'll be able to savor for days to come. We have to go over the basics and build up your strength before going into the specifics. There's something I want you to answer first though. How powerful am I in the future? What’s my strongest form?”
Tomina knew that there was only so much about the future she could ask, since a lot of it was probably going to end up changing. She was curious about where she had managed to get in two decades though. She didn’t see herself getting lax and slowing down her regiment, so she must have been monstrously strong in Hasenya’s time.
Hasenya was too busy trying not to lose her shit at Tomina's little prayer. If she hadn't been trying to say some important stuff right after that, she might've gone ahead and done that."Tomina, I'm pretty sure my very existence is a sacrilege to the Kais. Probably doesn't help I'm carrying a holy sword around and traveling back in time.. Salt and lemon juice on that wound, I think." The white-haired hybrid snorted, still a little stuck on probably the best prayer she had ever seen a person perform. Not that she had seen many. People didn't exactly keep praying to gods when their universe was being swallowed up with no hope of stopping it. But negative things like universes going bye-bye aside, it was odd for Hasenya to see the origins of her grin. At least she assumed it came from Tomina, 'cause she sure as Hell didn't come up with it on her own. She just didn't have that same level of sheer bitchiness.
The hybrid folded her arms and thought about Tomina's question for a moment with a light hum, furrowing her brow and tilting her head. "I.. can't think how to describe it? You were even more fiery than even my mother, which is ironic given her name.. Anyway. There would be these times where you would suddenly get a whole lot stronger, your eyes would change and your hair would be like fire.. Honestly, even I was pretty scared of that shit. I couldn't even get a read on your energy, and anyone not a fire Elemi would be roasted standing near you for too long. And did. A pretty brutal way to take someone out, but awfully effective and I couldn't help but be a little jealous. You still have that power, now? Or is there a feasible chance I could actually catch up to ya in this timeline?" Hasenya couldn't help but to feel a little melancholy over what she had lost. On a perfect day, in a not-so-perfect world, her flames would have had a pretty blue color to them not very unlike the ones Tomina could churn out without effort. They didn't have the same black to them, but Hasenya definitely turned up the heat in her best state. Just not enough to cause a planetary climate change, as rad as that would be.
"This isn't the first time I've considered trying for Super Saiyan, either. It was brought up once or twice when I was younger, but I didn't find the form very appealing. I just wouldn't look right with golden hair, and flames were something I had a grasp on from the start. And the whole Saiyan thing was just too close to my father." She shook her head. Reminiscing wasn't a good thing for her to do, and she knew it, she just got done displaying why. "Now it doesn't matter if I end up long and blonde and screaming my head off- so long as it's effective at what it needs to be doing, I won't begin to complain."
Base [x+1/x+0], Enrage [x2], Mastered Power [x5], Super Elemi [x13], Attuned Super Elemi [x20], Unleashed Super Elemi [x32/x24], Mastered Super Elemi [x35], True Elemental [x45], False God [x56/x55] True God [x60]
Tomina shook her head, letting out a low chuckle. Honestly, who knew what the Gods thought? Well, other then what they didn't appreciate Saiyans like her. When they didn't need them to save the universe for them.
"The gods don't think much of you one way or the other right now. I'm sure that time traveling would be big news last year, but between the powerhouses fucking everything up and the possible erasure of everything, you're just a drop in the ocean. Sorry you're not the center of the universe Hasenya."
It looked as though she had amused her cousin quite a bit with her antics. Well if it helped her ease into things then she would keep doing just that. When they weren't engaging in serious matters. Like the power she had in the future. There was one thing her cousin said that stood out. Tomina froze, her mind processing what she was saying. That only meant one thing. Tomina mouthed the word "God Ki" before giving Hasenya an answer proper.
"No, I don't have that power yet. I do know what you're talking about though. My Elemi heritage must mean that it's going to be different then the one Nasu acquired. I know how to get it, but if I tried obtaining it now, my body would break apart from the stress it would exert on me. So right now I'm trying to build my body's durability among other things. Which is what I'm going to do for you. Otherwise you won't be able to obtain higher forms of power."
Well there was an irony so deep that she almost evaporated into smoke on the spot. Her cousin had been trying to avoid getting the Super Saiyan transformation up until this point. It was the exact opposite on what she wanted to do when she was growing up.
"Ever since I was a kid, I wanted that golden form more then anything else. My mother was the first Saiyan to unlock it in centuries, and eventually it became a staple of the elite class. Obtaining it meant that you would be awknowledged among the strongest of the Saiyan race. The period where the Empire was in its prime was the golden age of Saiyans, both literally and figuratively. We had the strongest and most diverse collection of Super Saiyans. Try as I might though, my hair only turned red in the end. Although I now I find that more appealing then the golden form. I'm glad my Elemi blood influenced my transformations now. I cursed that side of me growing up."
Tomina cracked her knuckles, looking her cousin up and down. She had said she was ready to become her student. Although how willing was she to jump back into things.
"So, if you want to go for another round, come at me with all you have. Although considering how hard I kicked you earlier, I wouldn't blame you if you wanted to opt out. Although knowing how much you're a sucker for punishment, that option is probably less appealing to you."
Tomina cracked a grin at the white haired girl. That joke wasn't going to get old anytime soon. Despite how weak Hasenya was, the hybrid was now looking forward to another exchange with her. Context sometimes made all the difference.
Hasenya took Excalibur from its place driven into the Earth and sheathed it onto her back. She didn't plan to use it, but it was almost a rule for her to always have it on her back if she planned to engage in any kind of combat. This way she would stay adjusted to its weight and grow stronger for it, for when she would actually need to whip it out and start carving enemies into little crispy bits. Who needed to bulk up or wear ugly looking weights, when one could simply lug around a huge sword that could double as a bestfriend? Sure it's a little quiet right now, but who knows what kind of things it could get up to in the future?
"All I have, huh? I'm not exactly sure how much that might be, now that I've turned up the heat. But I have always been a little curious about the power I got from you know who. In a morbid way, kind of." Hasenya grinned, bracing her arms at her sides and then reigniting her corrupted aura. The orange and red flames emanating from her palms growing to full sized spheres and taking on an odd pink color as she opened up her hands and allowed them to grow. She personally wasn't a fan of the colors, but she didn't exactly have a right to be picky when all she asked for was to be strong again. Given time, she might not have to deal with that color, either. "I can take more of those kicks than you might think. I didn't plan to have any kids anyway.. Don't particularly swing in the direction necessary, neither. If there's one thing I've learned about men.." She allowed herself a brief pause, putting her fists together knuckle-to-knuckle and letting her magenta flames surround both of her arms, creating a layer that worked offensively and defensively. "They're only good for two things. Drinking with and beating on. Do you think you can focus on kicking my ass on a topic like that, cousin?"
She didn't wait for a response and immediately closed in on Tomina, moving much faster than she did in her base state. Maybe not too fast for her cousin, but that didn't make it any less of a noticeable change. The hybrid attempted a blow aimed right for the gut, turning her torso to the side and keeping her other fist prepped to deliver a second punch in case she wouldn't have to dodge and weave away from a counter attack, and if she were successful in her attack to begin with. She didn't take a boxing or Earthling fighting approach- Some might even think she was fighting like an Alliance Saiyan, given how she stayed crouched with her arms to the sides. Maybe she was just using the stance after seeing it a few times to rile Tomina up. Her blows might not do anything, but her words and actions might.

Well, at the very least it looked as though her cousin was going to go all out this time around. Granted Tomina still wouldn't have to release any extra power to take Hasenya on. But it would surely make for a better spar then their first initial exchange. Tomina took her fighting stance, preparing for her cousin to come in on her.
"You might as well take advantage of everything you have. Even if it's gifts that come from unsavory sources. As long as its your own power to control, and not something given to you by an outside source. It's best to learn as much as you can about yourself."
Tomina caught the punch thrown at her gut with her left hand. Hasenya's fist slapping against her gloved palm. Tomina grabbed onto the fist firmly. If Hasenya want to break free, so could probably do it if she put some effort into it. Tomina simply smirked at Hasenya's comment.
"You're underestimating me Hasenya. I can just keep you here and talk about whatever subject I want to. Well I don't have the same luxury as you. I need at least one kid to continue my bloodline. Still, I wasn't going to just bear the child of just anyone. I did take what this one species referred to as birth control, so I don't have a bunch of bastards running about. Guys to me were good for three things. Drinking with, beating up on, and of course a good fuck. But most of those guys did have something wrong with them that wouldn't make for good genes. If you find that one guy though, then you're in for a real treat."
Tomina pulled her fight arm back, clenching her hand into a fist. This time she was telegraphing her attacks to Hasenya in advanced. At least for the moment. She could decide to change it up at any time though.
"Of course if that isn't your kind of thing, then you could stick with the same sex. They often are less pushy then guys are about things, and handle things more professionally. Granted it isn't quite the same as a big cock, but it's good in its own right. You missed an opportunity cousin. If you had came back a couple of months earlier, I could have shown you how professional a woman is at that sort of thing."
Giving her cousin a grin, Tomina threw a punch at Hasenya's chin. It was hard to tell whether or not she was serious about that. Many of the things she did say were in a joking manner. Plus Hasenya being related to her made that even more unlikely. But then again, anyone who knew Tomina knew she wasn't too picky about small details as long as the other person was good looking enough. So maybe she did mean what she said.
"Yeah.. Guess you're right. This is a you that's twenty years younger and not so worried about obligatorily censoring things for my 'poor innocent mind'. I'll admit, I'm a clueless little shit, but if there's one thing I'm sure of, it's that I appreciate a woman that's as strong or even stronger than me. Nothing gives me as much as a thrill as that. It's motivating and emotionally satisfying. I don't need these 'big cocks' as long as I've got my cousins fists, huh?" Hasenya came right back at that comment with her own suggestive remark, unlike Tomina she was mostly joking- Which she was assuming they had both been doing to begin with. If Hasenya knew otherwise, Tomina would have a flustered lesbian on her hands. Right now though, the Elemi was feeling like she had hit her second wind. Her fire was back, and she had learned to accept some parts of herself that she resented ultimately coming out stronger for it. Strong enough that when Tomina's fist came towards her chin, her open palm would move to block it and to put a grip on it, putting the two at a sort of stand-off and giving Hasenya a little more time to talk.
"An effeminate touch can be just as strong as a masculine one, and just way better in all different kinds of ways. Another woman should know what another woman likes, no? I'm not too experienced myself, so who knows what kind of prey your cousin might be if you don't keep a close eye on her. Wouldn't want her getting distracted from training to go and get her cherry popped, now would we?" She was laying it on thick, but it was making for a weird motivator. The Elemi was excited and energetic, if the near constant output of flames from her fists weren't enough of an indicator. With that last bit though, Hasenya couldn't help but to show a little pink in her cheeks. Hopefully before Tomina could notice it, she had dissolved her arms into smoke and pulled them away. She then whipped her arms forward, a combined cloud of ash and embers with gouts of pinkish flames to attempt to blind the other hybrid.
"Pretty funny cousin. You can more than handle my punk ass in a fight, but I'm not so sure you could in the ways that you just implied." Hasenya let out a huff once her arms rematerialized where they should be. She wasn't too sure she should be using such an ability like. With her body starting to heal, she might lose the ability to dematerialize the way she had done twice now since the beginning of the meeting.

"What, I actually censored myself around you? I sounds like something a mother would do around their child if they actually gave a shit about them. So, having a strong woman taking charging of things is what turns you on, huh? Considering you're such a masochist and that my fists are enough for you, then your panties will probably be soaking by the end of this little spar."
Tomina winked at her cousin as she held her at arms length. Tomina couldn't resist having a bit of fun messing with her relative. She wanted to see how innocent Hasenya truly was. Besides, she couldn't deny that this type of conversation was fun in its own right.
"Oh, I agree. It's exhilarating in its own way. Women are much less likely to be just in the moment like a guys usually are. You might not be experienced right now, but you'd be a fast learner, I can tell. As long as it doesn't distract for your training, I don't care whether your cherry remains intact or not. You're entitled to a bit of fun to reward yourself after some training. Although since you want me to keep a close eye on you, it doesn't seem like that would happen. Unless if keeping a close eye on you isn't why you want me to be close to you."
Tomina had noticed the bit of pink on her cousins's face, since they were close to one another. Basically it meant that Tomina was going to turn up the heat. Hasenya had pulled off her smoke manuver to get herself out of Tomina's grasp once again. It really was an interesting ability. If utilized properly, she could become very hard to hit. Tomina seemed to be caught off guard. She looked surprised as the ash and flames bound her. Tomina gave her cousin a grin.
"Hasenya, do you know how many people have ever turned me down once I decided I wanted them? Zero. And each and every one of them admitted that I had given them the best night of their lives. Admittedly my mate was tricky to get between the sheets, but that's part of the reason I love him so much. Believe me, I could do more then just handle you if I wanted to."
Tomina gave the hybrid yet another coy wink. She didn't seem to care that she had gotten captured. On the contrary, she seemed to find all of this extremely amusing. Besides, it would be interesting to see where Hasenya went next now that she had gotten her. It would give her a good idea on how her cousin fought.
Even bound in her trap, Tomina could keep going on about such adult things. Then again, Hasenya would have to remember that she was twenty-one and that this topic was likely to come up a lot more frequently than she would have liked. She just dreaded the day that it would come up with someone she didn't swing towards, boy, that would be awkward. And speaking of swinging, Hasenya couldn't just stand there and talk about girls with her cousin and run the risk of a counterattack that would kick the shit out of her. She may be weak in power, but she still retained all of the experience she had from growing up and being trained by two different but still very powerful fighters. And also considering this wasn't the first time she had sparred with her cousin while she was at a much higher power than herself, Hasenya knew the strategy she would need to hopefully best her opponent. Hell, Tomina had even stated it herself. Hasenya would simply have to play it smart, use her brain and fight brawn with logic. Tomina was still by far the better fighter in terms of knowing how to think, and she didn't have much to think on how she could suddenly get smarter.
Rather than waste time wracking her brain to figure it out, she went with what first came to mind and used a simple but still effective tactic: Try to surprise her. Hasenya would take advantage of the lingering smoke to reach back and unsheathe Excalibur, knuckles whitening as she gripped the handle tightly and swung the legendary sword around with the flat broad end looking to ram into Tomina's side. She wasn't about to use the sharp edge, and she knew Excalibur was unbreakable.. At least normally she was, Hasenya didn't know for sure if the slumbering spirit would be completely safe from the abuse of being slammed into the side of a powerful Saiyaness. Only one way to find out though. If the strike were to be a success, it would make a lot more sense as to what Hasenya meant whenever she said she was the blades chosen wielder. Despite it's immense size, she could swing it about with one hand as if it weighed nothing at all.
Hasenya's assault wouldn't stop there either, if she had been successful. After her initial strike she would bring her other hand down to join the hand already firmly grasping Excalibur's handle. The Elemi then poised to strike, fixing to aim for Tomina's legs, sides, and head. Using Excalibur like a blunt weapon, she would see how her cousin could perform fighting with her fists against a skilled swordswoman intent on knocking her out. Rather than the traditional use of a blade, which would be carving up some poor sap. "I still don't think you would find me as easy to tame as your weird little fantasies may suggest, cousin. I think I'm morally sound enough in some areas to resist ya."

Hasenya actually pulled off a rather smart maneuver. She used the smoke as cover to hide her next move. Unfortunately she had two things working against her. The first was that Tomina’s reaction time was considerably faster than Hasenya’s attack speed. The second was the fact that her cousin hadn’t suppressed her energy. So Tomina knee where she was even though she was using the smoke to mask her visibility.
Tomina was just going to have to teach the lesson the hard way. She closed her eyes, pressing her fingers together, not unlike how one did when giving a high five. She swung her arm over and slammed her fingers against the broad middle section of the blade. This would be enough to stop it in its tracks. She had broken free of Hasenya’s bonds in an instant.
“That wasn’t a bad idea. Although you need to work better on the execution. You also need to improve your lying. If you’re not lying to me, then you’re lying to yourself. You say that you wouldn't be easily tamed and are morally sound. Yet your response wasn’t to tell me that it was gross cause we're cousins. Saiyans are a little more open to possibilities, but you were raised on Earth. Yet you don't seem to have an Earthling's mindset."
Tomina opened her eyes, and attempted to grab Excalibur. If she was successful, she would yank the blade to try and yank Hasenya towards her. If she managed to do it, Hasenya would find herself a couple of feet from the cousin, with Tomina looking up with her with a mischievous glint in her eyes.
“I can easily make fantasy become reality when it comes to sharing pleasure with someone else. It would be easy to do that with you. That’s because the reality of the situation is that you don't hate the idea of breaking Earth taboos to have some quality time with your cousin. You’re not as morally pure as you say you are, so you might as well try and indulge yourself."
Tomina would wait just long enough to see Hasenya’s reaction. Oh, it was sure to be priceless! Once she saw how Hasenya took it, she attempted to knee her cousin in the stomach. It would be tricky to dodge and hold onto her blade at the same time, unless if Hasenya did some good improvisation.
Hasenya wouldn't let go of Excalibur, no matter how hard the Saiyan yanked. Benefits of being a chosen wielder strike again. She frowned down at her cousin and shook her head. She was starting to notice there were a lot of brief pauses in this little sparring match where the two could talk. Leave it to Tomina to make this a fight of more than just blows- One of them would cave first, and they both knew it would be Hasenya. Two decades difference between this Tomina and the one Hasenya knew didn't mean shit, the Saiyaness was still the superior. "Tch. Earth isn't the only place I've been- I traveled quite a bit on my own before getting stuck with you. Gotta say, I think that was the one time in life that luck was on my side. Or maybe you were just feeling generous. You talk about Saiyans being 'more open' but what happened to the whole 'blood runs thicker' deal, huh? I thought Saiyans might be ones to consider incest yet another barbaric practice of lesser species."
She was given the choice to dodge and let go, or to hold on and take the blow. Being ever protective of her weapon, she chose the latter. Unlike with the kick, Hasenya did not buckle immediately and kept her feet planted firmly. With Tomina's knee pressing up into her gut she would try and take advantage of the motion, putting her leg forward and wrapping it around her cousin's bent knee before pulling hard. It paid to have the slight height advantage, but there was still only so much Hasenya could do in this locked position and she could easily just be headbutt. The best course of action at this moments notice seemed to be to just keep talking. "Fine, seein' as I can't lie to you and you seem pretty intent on figuring me out how about I just tell you the truth?" Hasenya twisted Excalibur slightly and yanked with her leg, more looking to tighten the hold she had rather than break it.
"Cousins or no, you are way out of my league. More than just one leagues. Leagues and leagues ahead of me- Outta this damn world. Morality or no, I don't get that embarrassed when you say these dirty things 'cause the truth of it is plain and simple. It just isn't happening. That is the reality of the situation, whether or not I want to actually get tangled up in the sheets with you or not." Given the way her tone seemed to drop, Tomina had certainly struck a nerve somewhere. Sure she had intended to get a reaction out of the girl, but it probably wasn't planned to be one of irritation and a bit of backlash. True, she had a weakness for strong women, but in the case of Tomina she just had too many insecurities to let herself react in those ways in response to the idea. "And so that this little sparring match can stay at least kinda proper.."
Hasenya kept one hand on Excalibur's handle, and in a single act that would have to be performed in one fluid motion to work, she spun herself to the side flipping her grip with the hand that still held on and kicked both her legs forward with a bit of a hop in an attempt to fall backwards with Excalibur acting as some kind of restraint to keep Tomina pinned underneath her on the ground. Even if only briefly, it would hopefully get her to release her grip on Excalibur's blade.. And show Tomina that she knew how to use the height difference to her advantage, even if she weren't exactly secure about it.
