[Thread Power Level: 508.418] [Base Form & God Omen [+x1] | Power Level: 1.016.836/508.418]
The Turtle Hermit’s words towards the King of All hadn’t apparently been taken with too much joy from most people— some of them were amused, others were outright angry. As much as Cornatto was on the other arena that had just split up from the others, he had heard Cervez shout at him with evident fury but it didn’t seem to particularly bother Cornatto at the moment, other than that he had pretty much caused him to giggle softly to himself.
Out of all the fighters, the Earthling Saiyan did indeed seem like the most laid back— he wasn’t certainly all that harmonious within himself. He did know that it would have been quite as serious as a war would have been, back in his days, but he could not help but also be himself. Just like Nasu was himself, and pretty much everyone else showed off their persona— Cornatto was a friendly dude. Out of combat, that was.
As most Saiyans, though, the male also preserved his battle instincts and was more than a serious about a fight. He didn’t strive to win with arrogance, but rather to test himself and keep reaching higher heights— win? Yes. But he did not seek the victory itself, but rather that his feet could finally rest upon a new level that had gone unexplored for him and it was a pretty good feeling. Maybe only another Saiyan could understand him, at best, but in either case, it was obvious that Corn didn’t intend to give anything less than all he would have if he had to— because of his energy.
It was still a battle royale. For one to manage their pool of energy would have been quite interesting and a way to at least learn to fight better! It felt a lot like martial arts, honestly, given it was a part of a better use of one’s stamina not to waste too much. Else it would be over before the fighter knew it. It was cool! But on a far more serious perspective of the picture, now their entire universe had to stand off against another, for its sake.
For they were now in separate arenas, warriors from both universes faced the other— in only the fighters knew in what terms, but when it came to Cornatto, he decided to quite take a look at each one of them but the one who most intrigued him was the Yardrat. The male had met a few in the Afterlife, they were the people that had passed on to him the ability to teleport and the fact that more of them lived in another universe was quite interesting! He did wonder if there were also Saiyans in Universe Four, but if there would even be any, they were probably quite weak if they weren’t included on their roster!
On the contrary, lots of Universe Seven’s members were related to the warrior race. Some simply had some of its blood, while a pair of them were purebloods— Saiyans in every single cell of their body, whether they showed off their heritage or not.
Cornatto himself was one of his own.
The black-haired male took the initiative and stepped towards the green-skinned Yardrat, his gaze settled over him with a faint smile. “You’re a Yardrat, aren’t you? You guys have some cool tricks. I am gettin’ excited now!” - exclaimed the male, although the other was quite wary of both universes’ questionable ‘team members’— the evil ones, to be precise. He wondered, then, maybe there were similar situations in their universe? Perhaps people didn’t get along as well as they did in their world? Despite he had tried to keep on a serious face for most of the time before this moment, at times he could not help but simply switch his gaze either towards his opponents or the ones located in the first arena and chuckle softly. He was so fired up!
Right now. The Tournament of Power had begun.
Soon enough, the male shifted his stance— his posture resembled a total mastery over the Earthling finesse of the martial arts. It was the fighting style that he donned over all that he had experienced in his life; the male was truly a martial artist, in the end, therefore, he was also curious to gauge the other’s full power! Both were holding off on their actual strength, then perhaps, Cornatto could at least get a taste of it if he were to push him a little.
His expression, from a smile, hardened into a small frown— it was time to get serious. What followed were only a few short moments of silence from Cornatto’s part, one would perhaps believe he’d be waiting on the other to make a move, but on the other hand, Corn’s eyes tightly followed Jinzo. He hoped he could get a glimpse of anything that he could be hiding or perhaps an opening, simply by their breathing, the way they’d move their eyes— being able to fight and also take in consideration such factors were all a part of being a martial artist. Only a few moments later, he powered up.
[Super Saiyan Full Power [x17/x16] | Power Level: 8.643.106/8.134.688]
The male’s power then exploded into one of a Super Saiyan, as his chest rose with an almighty roar. His hair turned golden and several locks formed the legendary warrior’s foliage, his power had now multiplied just a little bit below what he could sense from Jinzo— it was only like this that he’d go ahead and see just how much he could get the Yardrat to reveal the extent of his full power.
The man pulled back his arm and dashed forward, with the intent of striking the other with a punch, followed by a combination of kicks and blows, aimed to land with his knuckles— Cornatto was not simply just pulling fists in a few words, he would try to at least get the Yardrat to block or dodge. While doing so, though, he’d also be mindful of the others; both his teammates and their opponents. He assumed the other two would go after the others, he admittedly felt a little sad that he wouldn’t have the chance to watch them fight a little more closely, but the man had his own battle to fight!

So the time for their fight had finally arrived. This is what he had trained for. The Tournament of Power. Universal Survival. Justice. The Planet Yardrat. All of these things were in his mind as he walked casually forward in the arena, slightly ahead of the other two on his team. The Yardrat Warrior proudly wore the uniform of his people - a set of black armor with two white shoulder straps (but only one set of padding on the dominant hand’s shoulder) tied around his waist with a white sash. His legs wore green baggy pants (similar to the color of his skin) along with white boots. Unlike most Yardrats - Jinzo was of a standard height. Yardrats who had ascended past their limitations found themselves evolving into a being much more advanced than that of their kin. He was the evolved yardrat, the pinnacle and champion of his people. The epitome of everything they could become. His power was almost godly by some, and it was for this reason that he had been able to fend off even the Demons from invading Yardrat for over 200 years.
Perhaps that is why the Kaioshin had chosen him to lead their “merry” band of warriors. {“Fusa… good luck. Try to focus on the girl. She has the highest potential of the three from what I gather here, and from her attitude is the most aggressive. Use your metal body to keep her busy, try to tire her out as best as you can.
… I admittedly haven’t gotten the chance to get myself acquainted with you… Canidite… but I’m sure you know what to do. Just follow your instincts and we’ll try to work with that.”} the Yardrat leader transmitted to both of them. Lord Kron had given the responsibility of this team to him, and he would not let them down. “Which of you two is the leader?” he openly asked of both the young male in the orange and the other male in the blue gi. Considering the girl’s mouth - it was doubtful so ill tempered was the leader of their team. As Jinzo stood there for a few moments in waiting… the one in blue talked to him for a bit before he powered up into an interesting form. So… these Saiyans had the ability to take on temporary transformations for their power.. Rather than simply possessing it and maintaining it as Jinzo did. Jinzo processed the information and simply nodded to the Saiyan's question. "Yes I am a Yardrat... I am surprised there are those of my kind in your Universe... who would dare to show you our techniques. I guess your tribe does things differently over there... we don't share knowledge with other species on my Planet Yardrat...," he said matter of factly. The Saiyan in his blue gi charged straight at him when the announcement began. To directly engage him head on… how interesting. He wasn’t used to such a head-on tactic. Cornatto would feel Jinzo’s power level raise a fair bit as his energy gathered in two of his fingers, flowing outwardly as a yellow aura encompassed him. This would be more than enough power to stop an incoming assault. With two fingers Jinzo deflected the incoming attacks - crouching down in slight to deflect the kicks rising up to meet him before returning to a standing position where he was to deflect punches. If Jinzo wanted too… he could indulge this Saiyan at this level and play around with him a bit at that level of power. But he wasn’t here to play.
Overindulging in fun could cost the Yardrat his own safety. If either of his comrades wanted too they could try to jump him and make things difficult. Jinzo would try to use as much power as necessary to defeat his foe. Nothing more and nothing less. The more information he could conserve the better. When the Saiyan’s onslaught came to an end… Jinzo would simply stand over him curiously, his black eyes staring into the Super Saiyan’s own teal... “Ah.. is it you then? If so… then consider this my formal challenge. The Team Leaders should square off against one another, don’t you think?” he said with a soft smile on his face. It was clear that even after all of that… Jinzo had yet to even take a single step back. Cornatto would have his hands full if he wished to make a dent in the Yardrat Warrior’s defenses. And he hadn’t even begun to showcase his techniques yet. It was clear that Jinzo was a real threat. “Though I do hope that you’re holding back... at least for your sake. I’ll warn you only once, Saiyan. I do not intend to play games with you…” the Yardrat said. He would not take advantage of Cornatto’s approach to try and deal any significant damage. He could tell by the Saiyan’s energy that he was not a bad man.
And with that in mind he wanted a fair battle. He’d give this strange Saiyan one warning before he’d start to punish him for holding back against him….

Tomina glanced over at Yardratian, frowning as he asked between Chris and Cornatto. Granted she wasn’t the leader, but she felt insulted that he had just glanced over at him. Tomina jabbed her thumb over in Cornatto’s direction.
“He’s the team captain, if that’s what you mean. He’s not completely all there, but he’s strong enough and gets along with everyone on the team well enough. Every other candidate for Team Captain just had too many people we loathed between us, myself included. Although you shouldn’t have discounted the possibility that I was the team captain. Seriously, is it because I’m not as masculine as the rest of my teammates? If you underestimate me just because I’m the only female on my team, then you’ll soon realize that I hit harder than most of the guys on my team.”
Tomina watched as Cornatto just charged forward in his base Super Saiyan form, and directly aimed a simple barrage of punches at the Yardratian. Who easily blocked it. He didn’t even move one inch. Tomina called out to the Saiyan.
“Hey Cornatto, testing the waters is all well and good. But you’re taking that guy a little too lightly. Use one of your higher transformations on him.”
Tomina clenched her fist, looking over at the Metalman. There was much at stake and she couldn’t afford to lose. Yet despite that, she felt thrilled, absolutely ecstatic that she was in this fight. Tomina powered up to what she dubbed her full powered Super Saiyan Crimson 2, raising her voice for everyone to hear.
“Universe 4 warriors, you are no doubt going to be the toughest warriors I’ve ever faced in my life. There’s so much on line for all of us here. My universe could meet its end today. And yet right now… I feel more alive than I have in a long time. It’s been nearly a decade since I’ve felt this excited about the prospect of a fight.”
Tomina clenched her fist, grinning over at Fusa. Tomina had fought the last 8 years for the sake of vengence and trying to fulfil her sister’s last request. Everyone she cared about had died a long time ago, so she wasn’t fighting for anyone who was alive at that point. She had become a shadow of her former self, a warrior fighting to rebuild as much as she could from nothing. Now at the end of all things, she was given a chance to redeem herself. She could save the people she had failed to protect so long ago. And she had a mate to fight for though. This fight had weight to it that went just beyond her personal ambitions.
“You and the Yardratian clearly have good intentions Fusa, but I’m not going to lose. For I am Tomina, daughter of Queen Lettis, ruler of the former Saiyan Empire. They may have fallen long ago, but they still exist in the afterlife. I fight for their sake once again, as their very existence is on the line. I won’t fail them a second time, so give it your all Metalman! Or my flames will burn your soul before you can land a blow on me!”
Tomina ran forward, the air around her blazing hot as she threw a simple bunch at the metalman. She wanted to test how he responded to certain attacks. She was in the strongest form she was willing to be in at the moment though, unlike Cornatto. She wasn’t going to push herself further unless if she had to.

Fusa-san finally lowered down his massive arm from its crossed position. He watched as the first opponent addressed his mentor. Apparently there are Yadrat in other universe too, one that imparted their teaching to the guy... The guy's name is... Cornatto, was it? He's a funny one... fearless, fun loving, but at the same time he felt like a playful sea that about to show its true might soon. The lady who he later learned to be named Tomina chided him and told him to transform to the next level. The Metalman realized that he's not really wrong after all. He is strong... but he's sure that his mentor will give him a fight that he wanted. Upon mentally contacted by his mentor, Fusa's visor blinked in affirmation. The Yadrat moved first, calling out how Yadrat of the man's universe has probably committed (what Fusa-san thought as) a taboo by teaching him their art. With that being said, the first fight between the two team started. The team leader Jinzo blocked Cornatto's attack as easily as blocking a child's tantrum, with two fingers too. This reminds him of the day when they sparred... but he's sure that his mentor is stronger now.
Fusa-san too moved from his position finally. From the grin on Tomina's face, he understood that he's targeted. His visor glows brighter and his engine started to let out steam like two volcanos ready to burst. The Metalman heard what the saiyan hybrid had to say. She told him how she felt alive at this moment, even though their universe is at a stake. Not only she did not felt depressed but also she felt so ecstatic? Such a fierce woman... But he doesn't hate that. If he were to have lips, the Metalman would have smiled. The true nature of her wish... he seem to guess it right that it was meant to be resurrection. That would mean, he have specific people to revive is it? He turned his head at the girl that looked like Tomina. Her sister, he think. She's not old enough in his standard to have a child... maybe if she's long lived then it would be different, but he guessed that it's not like that.
She does not resemble the man in Arena 1 for whatever reason. His conjecture says that she's not related to them. Perhaps, it was some form of coup d'etat in work in here. Either that, or the two was in fight, and the king of the Saiyan take over and for some reason this woman is in his rule now. Whatever the case is, he felt it will not be so simple. That wish, how nice it is if it can came true.
"I see, it's a honor, Warrior Tomina," the Metalman's voice finally dropped to its androgynous state again "To not besmirch your honor... and for the survival of my own universe, I shall fight you with my full strength. Today, this humble gardener will test your strength and conviction, come!"
The area around the Metalman rose in heat as his engine finally spun at full power. The ground around the Metalman shook as he took his steps to met Tomina on their own side of the battlefield. The woman's fist is met with the outstretched palm of the metalman. Huge "GOOONG" reverberated as the fist collided with his palm. The Metalman used the impact to gain distance between them. It almost like the Metalman got railroaded from the impact considering the distance he traveled. Fusa-san glared at his opponent. While it doesn't hurt the slightest, it's still amazing for universe 7 to have an opponent this strong. Saiyans, truly a frightening race. She also called herself to be a daughter of the Saiyan Queen Lettis, is it? A royal blooded princess with power... so this is the race of warriors called Saiyans. But even so...
"I see, I can see why they picked you, Warrior Tomina. You're very strong. Still, that much wouldn't be enough to soundly defeat me!"
Fusa-san stood from his position. His turbine-like generator spinning frantically as if gathering the surrounding air for an attack. Ki building inside, slowly but surely. He's slow, and he only have very little number of attacks. That being said, his toughness would be a weapon in this one, a weapon that he'll abuse like hell. WC: 728 5/5 STAMINA

As his dubbed "allies" Went off to go fight their respective opponents, Umarugogue squared up with the only one left, some sayain-esk creature in a gi. The Wolf towered over most creatures at his monstrous 10 feet of natural height, his long arms and twisted claws making for a fearsome sight on the other end of the table, the man that stood before him appeared so pathetically casual, it was like he was going to take part in a training session rather than a battle for the fate of everything! His prey was deceptive, however... He couldn't sense energy, but his superior senses told him all he needed to know about this man... He was hiding much in the ways of strength... He wouldn't be here were he not capable... Umarugogue's lips curled into a snarl as his and Chris' allies engaged in their fights all around, cocking his arms by his side as his fingers curled into fangs.
"...Your friends talk too much." The wolf growled, his voice low, contorted and warped as if his face wasn't meant to produce human speech. T'was like a beast trying to communicate with man, his words mixed in with snarls and gurgles fit only for a wild creature. "This is no place for your honor or respect. One of us won't matter by the end of this hunt so let us dispense with the pleasantries. I am here to kill you. No more, no less." Unlike the rest of his so-called allies, Umarugogue had no taste for this ridiculousness that was conversation, Chris' opinion of him not mattering one way or another. On the one hand, if the wolf one, Chris would merely be another dead man in the pile of bodies left in the wake of the hunter, the only lasting effect being the blood-stains on his claws. If Chris won... well... Umarugogue wouldn't be around to suffer the same of his defeat or face any more ramifications for his statements.
"You will die, just as the rest of your universe will die." Suddenly the monster's aura spiked, the wolf letting out a loud howl as his aura EXPLODED all around him, ripping up the ground with there sheer weight of his power! His grey-ish fur shifted to a darker, near black tone, his eyes glowing a deep and sinister blue.
Without another word, Umarugogue rushed down the man on his all fours like the rabid beast he appeared to be, swiping at his chest with his ripping claw and at his neck with his Gnashing teeth, attempting to end this fight in just one brutal maneuver!
This fight was pointless in many ways. In the end they were only buying themselves time to try and repair something that could easily happen once more. In a way to the gods, all they were, were simple pieces of chess, or even resembling to the playthings of a child. It was the sad truth, and it was a truth he was willing to accept. After all, this kind of thing was something he held hope would hopefully not be the truth one day. That one day they would be able to write their own wills, their own futures, and not lose everything for a child’s game. Was he immune to the anger it caused him? No, not by any means was he, but he already knew one things. If he wasn’t to try here, even if his family were saved. He would never get to see them again, he would never get to witness the birth of his own child.
This energy began to burn through him as Corn’s own omen. Similar in their paths originally maybe, but in the end two separate ways had they wavered. He wasn’t afraid anymore, he wasn’t going to hold back as easily. It would’ve been silly to waste all of his energy in one go however. Even as the leader of the other team asked between them who of them was the leader. It was time for their power to rise. “Yes, I suppose he is our team leader in a way even if he isn’t the most…tactically…sound.”, Chris would say nonchalantly as he turned towards the wolf like creature. This fight would be interesting indeed. That was if they could show him some strength then. It would be quite disappointing if this fight were to end so quickly, after the show of strength the many others had held at first.
As Cornatto and Tomina would begin to transform, Chris couldn’t help but reminisce about the old Super Saiyan form, a form he hadn’t taken in such a long time. A smile grew on his face as he remembered the countless months of training he had placed into the form, before he had become this thing… “You see, the form Corn has reached is what we call a Super Saiyan, most common by the purebloods of the Saiyan race. Tomina here has reached their state as well by the combination of genes, a Super Elemi….and this? This is the combination of my own Saiyan genes, a transformation awakened by my regrets for my failures on Earth during the first Saiyan invasion. When I fought on the planet Bris, I was about to fail, my regrets, my sorrow for my failure awoken my true nature, my true genetic power. And this? This is what happens when those two combines into one…the ki of a Saiyan warrior combined with angelic ki of my blood!”, Chris would say towards the enemy team as he began to power up himself, calling upon the mastered form of his rage. A dual aura forming from the transformation itself! His power rising as he grew in power, his form bulking up slightly before slimming down. The bright blue eyes of his looked right towards the wolf like creature.
“And this…. This is my rage in its own form, Super Saiyan Rage…. I have too much on the line to lose to any of you.”, Chris would simply speak, a calmed state to his voice as lightning sparked around him. Not wasting any chance, he was quick for movement as he rushed towards the Canidite, pushing himself off his head with a swift but steady launch of a kick going right for his back side if he were not to react. “It’s over already, you stand no chance against me…”, Chris would simply state to the wolf like creature.

Each one of the Turtle Hermit’s fists clashed against the other’s strength; no matter how long he went for this, there was no way he would have so easily penetrated through the Yardrat’s defenses. The Earthling Saiyan couldn’t help but also answer the Yardrat while the two sparred; he had no idea their tribe would apparently be jealous of their secrets, but perhaps it did not mean the same to the Yardrats in their universe— or at least they went as far as showing him the Instant Transmission. The latter was not an easy trick itself, so he found it difficult that he’d have ever even gotten as close to understanding it without their help.
“Is that so? They didn’t seem too troubled about it when they offered to teach me a few things! You may be the same species, but there are a few differences apparently! I wonder, do you have Saiyans in your universe?”
The matter wouldn’t have probably been important in case Universe Four were to get erased, but he was somewhat interested in at least understand if the two universes had more in common than what he had thought— other than Jinzo, he didn’t recognize anything else in particular that also belonged to their universe. Certainly, it wasn’t as far as theirs, though, from what he could see, at least one of the other two in the arena did indeed look like a Zoan; one of the many species that lived on Earth.
It was quite amusing, honestly. Cornatto had not expected to meet one of his race that powerful— the ones he had met were smaller and quite weak, although they did possess some interesting abilities, they were definitely no match when it came to power. They were just on another level compared to most of the fighters in this tournament.
Jinzo, however, did have quite a high battle power, even if he couldn’t quite sense his full power yet, just the one he had displayed that far was more than enough for Cornatto to believe that he could indeed be quite an amazing opponent. Not to mention that he was apparently the Team Leader, that had to mean something, right? Even though he was indeed the leader of his own team, but not the strongest, Corn also possessed an amount of strength that was not comparable to the one he was currently wielding to test the Yardrat.
Soon enough, though, the Earthling Saiyan ceased his assault and stepped back as both the fighters faced each other. Cornatto, in particular, had a faint smile on his face as he had a hint of a conversation with his opponent.
“Yes, I am the team leader and I accept your challenge,” - answered the man without much else to fluff his statement other than the truth itself; he wanted to fight him. Cornatto had been excited about this for a while now. He couldn’t wait to finally put himself to the test, although there was indeed the risk of erasure, he was confident that his universe could win. If not? Then he would have dealt with it at that time. But the idea of losing everything, himself and the ones he held dear was obviously unpleasing to the male, too.
The Yardrat’s power level had also arisen to a considerate amount, about double the one of his Super Saiyan form, therefore he guessed that his guess was indeed right; his opponent still had so much power to draw out. Such matter quite encouraged the Saiyan to also go beyond, as the blonde-haired warrior’s features were replaced by a smirk. Jinzo could probably stay reassured that Cornatto was indeed holding back— but he wasn’t going to unleash his full power from the beginning. Not to mention that it would have probably ruined the fun if it were to be way too much for the Yardrat to handle, but he was hopeful that he would have had to use it for the warriors to stand up against each other on an even level.
“I have two more transformations after this one. This is a Super Saiyan,” - mentioned the man before he brought his fists up in the air and closed them tightly. A fierce growl ground tightly against his vocal cords as he once more ascended to the next level of his Saiyan heritage; his hairstyle had become rigid— a lot more spiky than it was previously with his first transformation and now, lightning sparks hugged his figure.
[Super Saiyan Two Full Power [x33/x32] | Power Level: 16.777.794/16.269.376]
“This is the one who’s ascended past the normal Super Saiyan. I call it Super Saiyan Two,” - he said. Now, both’s powers seemed to rival each other, although Cornatto was not entirely sure just how far Jinzo could get he guessed he’d find out soon enough if the two were to continue this— he would finally find a good opponent, hopefully. Not to mention the fact that Cornatto did also mention having one last transformation, so the Yardrat possibly had something to look forward to himself.
His Super Saiyan Three power would have probably been more than enough to crush him if that was truly the other’s full power, but at the same time, by the tones of the green-skinned man, he did seem quite confident and given the way teams were arranged, it looked like each arena was organized by everyone’s battle power; that only meant the Yardrat ‘had’ to be more powerful than that.
“I hope this is not your full power. If not, give me a reason to transform again— I’ll show you what it looks like once I’ve passed my limit!”
The male spread his legs wide enough to give himself a push forward as he once more assaulted the Yardrat, but this time he aimed a hit right into his guts— if the Yardrat did indeed hide just as much power as he claimed, then at least in the struggle for him to block this one, Cornatto would get him to reveal his battle power.

The Yardrats techniques have been a closely guarded secret for thousands of years. They were what protected their species from extinction. To pass them to an outsider would be to threaten their own extinction. Knowledge was only more powerful when it was rare, when techniques were closely guarded secrets. As Jinzo blocked each of those strikes he could only fathom what possessed them to share such things. What kind of Universe did they live in? If they were in this tournament, then it likely wasn’t a great one. They were not in a position of peace that would maybe allow for an exception. “You live in such a strange Universe…,” Jinzo could only comment. As for the Saiyans… he had lived for two hundred years… he had never met a Saiyan. At least they never tried to appear on Planet Yardrat. “I do not know if we have Saiyans in our Universe… I at least have never met one. This will be a first for me… though it’s interesting to know your species use these transformations to fight at higher levels…,” he said.
Jinzo had known different levels of power throughout his life, but only one of them could be considered a “transformation”. And eventually that transformation became permanent. “It’s possible your Yardrats never achieved the level I have. I have evolved past most of my brethren into something far greater than myself. In Universe Four I am the impregnable wall.. I am the Guardian of our Tribe that has guarded the people of Yardrat for over two hundred years…,” he would explain, giving him some of his history as an offering. He would tell the story of his people as he fought. For if they perished in this tournament of power… at least the people of Yardrat in Universe Seven would know their legend, their history. Perhaps it would inspire one of them to seek greatness and achieve what he had. The full potential of the Yardrat people.
The Saiyans were clearly a threatening warrior race. For the God of Destruction in the Seventh Universe to choose primarily warriors of this one species… it implied their prowess in combat was extraordinary. They were the reigning power in the Universe, and the biggest threat to his own Universe. This blonde hair transformation was fascinating to him. Such a strange concept. Cornatto hardly even looked like himself. It was as if he was an entirely different person visually.
Cornatto confirmed that he was the team leader. It was as he thought. Though the strongest of his Universe were mighty warriors in their own right… none of them seemed to have the proper temperament. Clouded by rage, ego, arrogance, and self-importance. None of the three belonged in the seat of leader, none of them deserved to be a captain. The other boy in this arena was strong, and from what he could tell was also a good candidate. But he was also one of the youngest, probably the most inexperienced. It was clear to the Yardrat that this Saiyan was the best choice their Hakaishin could make.
The two of them separated, gaining a little distance before re-engaging one another in the harsh winds of combat that would carry them towards the fight for their own existence. Jinzo spread his legs apart knees bent with the left in front of the right. Both hands open with fingers tensed in a claw-like shape with the right kept close to his side while the left was partially extended outward.
The Saiyan meanwhile began to increase his power once more, stating that he had TWO transformations left to go through. Jinzo watched with interest as the Super Saiyan’s energy began to intensify and heighten itself, a yellow aura glowing around them as they began to transform yet again. It as the Yardrat predicted. He was reserving power. What a foolish thing to do in a tournament like this. Unlike the last transformation however - this one was not as drastic a change. The hair color and eye color stayed the same, with the hair style being the only thing to really change along with the aura. That blue lightning was a little intimidating, but from what Jinzo’s deeply attuned sense of the arena - he could tell it was nothing to worry about.
That final transformation was what had Jinzo worried however. How strong could this Saiyan go? He supposed he would find out. He was a little insulted that the Saiyan still chose to hold back, but given this increase in power he could understand why the Saiyan believed that form would be sufficient. A white aura surrounded the Yardrat as he pulled into more of his reserve power. His power level jumping with a boost again as the Saiyan charged him head on.
He had given him a warning. The Saiyan would not get another.
Jinzo prepared himself as Cornatto rushed at him yet again. “Didn’t you hear me before? I’m not playing games, you fool!” the Yardrat would cry out as he prepared to strike back against the coming barrage. Corn’s fist would meet the warrior’s knee as he countered the strike head on. Punching a hard joint like the knee would sting a little. He would meet every incoming punch head on, punching them blow for blow to cancel out the incoming barrage with his own. Harsh winds would blow across the arena from their mighty clash.
This continued on for some time as the two powers collided, with Jinzo gaining momentum on Cornatto as his power was simply higher. Once he saw an opening - the Yardrat launched a sweeping kick against Cornatto’s torso, a fierce blow that would launch the Saiyan backward. It wasn’t a hit strong enough to do severe damage, but it would still sting a bit. As the Saiyan would no doubt need to recover and regain his posture - Jinzo charged up purple orbs in his hands. Taking further advantage of that opening: the Evolved Yardrat discharged those orbs in his hand as a barrage of purple blasts heading straight for Cornatto! If they did in fact hit - he would find himself bombarded in a barrage of tiny explosions creating bruises (albeit small ones) across the entirety of his body..
Hopefully that would show their leader he wasn’t playing around or pulling punches. If he didn’t go all out, Jinzo would take him off this stage with no hesitation…

Tomina frowned as she watched the huge metalman slide back from the force of her punch. To the casual onlooker it would seem like she had landed a successful hit. The sound of flesh contacting metal was satisfying to the Saiyan warrior, but she knew that she hadn’t accomplished anything at all. Other than just simply push him back that is.
“I didn’t feel him give way at all. Usually even the thickest of armored creatures would take a small amount of damage. But I didn’t feel anything move or crack with that blow. That armor is as every bit as tough as it looks. I’m going to have to wear him down with stronger moves.”
Tomina took note of the rest of the battle going on around her. So far the one with the Chris and the wolf creature was going about as expected. Well, aside for one thing. That would creature could actually speak! Well to be more accurate, it was more like someone placed a device that converted an animal’s to words on that wolf. He didn’t seem that much interested in anything other than killing them. Tomina rolled her eyes at Chris’s overconfidence though.
“Hey Angelris, don’t go saying that kind of thing after throwing just one punch. Even if it’s true, they can still kill you if you let your guard down. Natto was the strongest in the universe at one point but ended up getting killed by someone weaker than him because he got too cocky. That species is something we’ve never seen before, so who knows what that mutt can do?”
She couldn't help but make up a nickname for him on the spot. It helped to keep her in at least relatively good mood when interacting with people that she didn't like. She was annoyed with how much he was writing off his opponent. It was one thing to be confident, but it was quite enough to just assume that you would win. Especially if you knew nothing about your enemies going into the fight. Still, it was at least better than what was going on at Corns end. Tomina felt a vein throb in her forehead as the situation played out. She could only spare a glance at what was going on, but she got enough of a look and could sense what was going on well enough to put things together.
Cornatto was already getting a bit batted around. He had not gone all out from the start, even after his opponent told him that he shouldn’t hold back before giving him another shot at him. Yet not only did he transform into his strongest transformation, but he went and told his enemy how many transformations he had. Now their foe would know his limits in that regard. She shouted out to her team captain.
“Oi, Cornatto! Go all out on him! He’s not going to lose to anything less than a Super Saiyan 3. We’re in the second strongest group in the tournament, so get your hand in the game!”
Tomina was worried that if he took things too lightly, he would get defeated and put her and Chris at a huge disadvantage. Which was why she had to do her part and take care of Fusa as soon as possible. Tomina saw that he was charging up for some type of attack, and cuffed both of her hands together in response.
“Say Fusa, you keep calling yourself a gardener. What does that mean? Does it mean you’re some type of preservationist?”
Tomina held her hands against her chest, and a purple beam started charging up an attack. She was putting all her energy into this, so she was leaving herself open should any of the other fighters choose to make a move. Which was why she sent her two allies a mental message as she prepared her technique.
<I’m going to be vulnerable while charging this technique. Cover me and make sure none of the other two interfere in some way.>
Tomina had spoken verbally before as a way to keep the opposing team off balance. If she was talking to her other team verbally, then they wouldn’t think that she was speaking to them telepathically at the same time. Despite her hatred for the demon queen, she had to admit that Nakiya had created some very useful techniques. Techniques that she would use to the fullest to ensure that their universe survived.

The other warriors too has made their move. His visor gone to the wolfman who actually was very discomforting to him. The Metalman can't believe that he shared same ring with some of the most brutal fighter in his universe. The Pierrot-like demon was disconcerting enough, but this guy... being so close to this guy was even more disconcerting. He was actually offended to hear that the beast did not care about the other universe. Is this guy totally without heart? Or this guy just a being of destruction? At any rate, the wolf's opponent is probably as bad with how cheekily confident he is. Fusa-san listened to each of his words. What sort of story happened in this man's life? Saiyans... Invade other saiyans? But with how he talked about the Saiyans, it's seem that there are more to meet the eyes. Like... these two are enemies, are they somehow... related to the invasion? Or is it something else? The huge Metalman focused his attention elsewhere while still staring at his opponent who seem to be frowning. Did his little feint got read so fast? How regrettable.
"Saiyans, what a strange creature," he can't help but to speak out loud. "If there are saiyan in our universe, how would it be, I wonder? As my teammate said, there were no Saiyans... or at least, I believe there were none. If they're as battle loving as you all, then surely they would came at me when I landed in their planet to do my little work. Unfortunately, none come... or maybe, I didn't came to their planet. There are planets that I have to pass after all. If it's too barren and impossible for anything to live in it, I had no choice but to abandon them and move to the other one. Thus is the weakness of a mortal. They cannot create something from nothing... at least, it is my weakness."
The man called Cornatto, is he really that confident like the one who similarly gone Super Saiyan, or is he merely want to test the water? If it's the latter, then it's probably unwise, but the former would be far more unwise. These super saiyan beings, probably are like him who slowly hardened his metal body... no, perhaps, it's just some form of transformation? Meanwhile, his... he remembered the time where he had to . It's a pity that he can no longer get stronger than this... if Saiyans are truly as strong as this Cornatto... That means, they still have some transformation left. Should he try to gamble on it?
It's seem that his teacher Jinzo doesn't take the non serious attitude of the playful Saiyan in best way though. That's right, they're in this battle to win, not to trade pleasantries or playing game of who got stronger power. They're here for serious fight. Fusa-san watched as the attack from the Saiyans are blocked by the Yadrat, and in turn, the Yadrat launched his own attack. It gotta be hurt... or so he think. His attention snapped back to his opponent when she asked what does he meant by calling himself a gardener.
"Oh my, you're curious?" the Metalman replied, visor lighting up in playful manner "I said what I said, pretty much. I am a gardener... so my self appointed duty is to go from planets to planets, to restore the nature. In my opinion, basic of all life is nature. Can insect live without plants or some form of photosynthetic microbes? Can animals live without nature? Can we, mortals, lives in barren place without nature's mercy? Thinking about that, I put it in my heart to heal all nearly died planet. Mother nature is strong. If you let nature grow by its own, even if it's just for few years, they will grow by themselves, and in turn they will rejuvenate the planet again. My duties includes pruning, replanting, putting back the nutrients to the earth and to restore water source. Ah, but like I said, I do also swat some naughty people that disturbed my work. That's, I feel, is the worst part of being a gardener. Pests like insects would usually not care if you shoo them off or spray them with insecticide... but sapient pests, on the other hand... I didn't even kill them and merely sent them to the hospital, yet they came to me with complete weaponry! Don't you think that is absurd? But rather than preservationist... I'd like to call myself... someone who did restoration?"
As he said that, the Metalman engine suddenly stopped and he raised his arms. Boiling hot magma, blue in color grows brighter and brighter. The pressurized magma shot toward
"Warrior Tomina, I ask you, how do you view yourself? How do you view your race? How do you view your universe as whole? What sort of life that leads you, member of Saiyan race with mixed blood to be this strong? Is it something to protect... or is it for your own sake? You, who grows strong enough to stand on this arena two... this is not merely power of your blood, this is, I feel, is cumulative sum of all what happened in your life. Young you might be, but even so, that flame that blazes stronger than even the magma of my fellow brethren, what does it seeks? Does it seeks pardon from the past, or does it seeks a beautiful future? What will you do after you obtained what you want, considering that one day, maybe several more times, that this tournament might pit your universe against another universe? What then? Will you keep fighting... or will you think of way to handle that? Or is it too much for a mortal to handle?"
Perhaps, he spoke too much. Yet, he can't help but to sympathize against these people. No matter what their background is, as long as they're not completely out of logical discussion, he's willing to see, to peek on their point of view.
I don't want to lose either, there are too many things that I love in my universe, no matter how rotten. Master, I'll leave it to you to keep the other two busy! WC: 1038 TWC: 1766
Fusa-san released his charged attack to interrupt Tomina's charge! OT-3 Lava Shot -> 19.110.000 STAMINA 5/5 -> 2/5!
"Shut up! Do you think anyone cares about the name of your stupid transformations or their backstories!?" Umarugogue growled as the man powered up. "What do you think this is, meat? Some chance for you to show off your powers!?" It was at this point he began charging the man down, fancy little double-aura or not. He cared NOT what he called it nor his emotional state! He was but a big hunk of walking flesh for the slaughter, he was! Chris's name, nature, or stupid form-names meant nothing to Umarugogue. A hunter neither needed nor desired the name and history of his prey before he killed it!
"What you have to lose means nothing to me, fool!" The Wolf snarled as he move din for the attack, charging down the stupid double-aura-ed assumed "Sayain" given his transformation. What was with him...? Why did he act like this now? This was a match where this guy literally had everything to lose and nothing to gain and he was just standing here, mouthing off about a change in hair and a second aura...? Did he treat ever damned fight he was in like it was some kind of joke!? Who was he trying to impress!? The Gods!? They were literally playing with his and his comrades lives right now! Stupid prey... Stupid foolish prey... He would take much pleasure in flaying his flesh from his bones.
As he went in for the swipe across his chest, the man gracefully jumped over him, throwing a well-targeted kick right at his back! Well... he might've been the dumbest creature this side of the multiverse, but at least he was a competent warrior. As the kick sailed towards his spine, sending him skidding to the ground in pain! WELL Umarugogue would soon regret giving the man any credit at all as not a moment after he thought this and rose on his hind-legs, Chris declared that their fight was over, that he was no match for him! The wolf narrowed his eyes, wondering just how much DUMBER this man could get... If he thought this was as far as Umarugogue could go... he was more of a... child in a warrior's body. Stupid, inanalytic, but with an adult's power... How frustratingly dichotomous.
"You are the reason your universe will burn." Umarugogue spat, glaring at the arrogant sayain. "Believing your hunter is only as strong as he makes himself out to be is the first mistake of inexperienced prey... It's because of this, you and 'what you have to lose' will die."
With a howl loud enough to split the arena in two, even more energy spilled out from the wolf, putting the sayain's little two-aura form to SHAME with it's intensity! Umarugogue's fur color shifted once again! It took on a whiter tone, though certain parts of his fur remained black, specifically patturns tracing from his eyes all they way down his torso and legs, almost like trial body paint or tattoos! His Black aura burned around him, the ground beneath his feet seeming to quake as he locked eyes with the stupid sayain, running his long wolven tongue over his sharp, gnarled teeth.
Suddenly and without warning, Umarugogue would open his maw, sending out a MONSTER of a Feral-Flash from his throat, ripping to pieces anything it had to impact with it's target!

As much as he had noted of others calling upon how he was handling thing in his own arena, he couldn’t help but wonder why they couldn’t just mind their own business. It was seriously frustrating at times to have to listen to one’s comments on how he was to handle these things. It was then that it truly clicked in his mind, he never revealed to those here of his newer form yet had he. It was entirely likely they had still thought of this as his full power. “If you truly think I’ve let my guard down for even more than a moment firefly, than you’ve doubted my own mind far more than you’ve realized.”, Chris would deliver by his own telepathy right back to the maiden of flames. “No, I just am trying to get him angry, in anger one shows their true strength. I don’t want to underestimate the finishing blow. Our enemies wouldn’t be here if they could only match these forms, not when the other forces are showing to be far more powerful. I don’t believe at all my single punch was the end, but they don’t know this now do they…”, Chris would have finished sending off as he stared down the canine creature. The serious tone on his face as he listened to their words, obviously pissed from the damage he had done. Normally he could keep these tones for a considerable while, however the words the canine had dared to speak next. Those words easily made his hard to control rage snap. He felt that light burning from within once more, that same light brought upon only three times before.
Something new as well beginning to arise upon his aura, as the light blinded his body, gaining a darkened purple tone, seemingly vaporizing where his foot was to step. Not deeply, but vague enough for the clear recognition of this energy. Destruction, in its weaker form none the less, but just as dangerous as one who’s limits were broken. As the purple shaped hand, seemingly aura itself grabbed the wave of energy in front of him, it became quite clear the severity of this new situation. "I was giving you a chance to power up. My family you will leave out of this and now that I know your true colors, I hold no more regret for you.”, Chris would say as the white stream of energy pushed back against the beam, ever closer approaching the canine, entrapped itself in the raw energy of destruction, almost like a claw of aura itself was pushing back towards the canine. The claw even aiming to stab into whatever was it’s target, bearing the remarkable characteristics of a dragon’s.
With his now found limbs, true bodily wings began to form did he begin to glide above with the force of energy, not with ki, but simply the natural limbs of his mutated body. The angelean way, his curse, his mark on this world. This was no normal angel however, this was an angel of destruction. “Divine Arts, Hakai Claw.”
Light's Synergy: The Angelean has grown with potential from the light, however upon transforming into the power of this form, their body grows unstable as they become a being of pure light, their form able to be manipulated how they wish, but yet still unstable, as shown by the wisp of light they emulate as well as the lack of skin color, rather radiating as shades of light. [BG][PT-1] Destructive Potential - The tip of the iceberg for the Destruction School. Once the user has the strength and the dominance over the destructive properties of their Ki they can begin to train the more advanced techniques. All Anubians can skip this stage since they already understand the meaning of Destruction but it's never too late to refine it to the next level. Mechanically it works by passively giving the user an x1 boost to their offensive attacks and giving most of their offensive techniques a purple-glow of destructive energy added to it as flavor.
[BG] [PT-1] Aether Control: This technique allows one to control the very element of Aether, an essential part of what makes up the elements of the other world. This element is said to be the purest form of the mystical elements. The limitations of one’s control however depend on their own strengths.
