The Grand Priest gave authorized the beginning of the match! All spectators and gods can post here, reacting to what is going on in all the three arenas.
This whole Void thing was weird... it was like the reverse of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. That place had been an infinite white, and this place just... just was infinite. But, that wasn't why they were here. Nope, they were here to see the fate of their universe decided. At first Cambia had been a little peeved at not being asked to actually take part in the tournament herself, especially when she'd seen how that oversized bug woman had been acting. Now there was someone she would gladly kick the arse of... if they even had an arse. But after sensing how much power they all had... yeah, probably for the best that she not get in the way. Okra for his part was just staring out at the trio of arenas, or at least he was when he wasn't looking at the Zeno's and giggling at the two Kings.
It had taken a little bit of convincing to let her bring Okra along, but ultimately the excuse of "If we somehow lose this thing, I am not letting my son get erased without his mother hugging him one last time." won his place here with her. She looked down, her attention focused purely on the arena where her half-brothers were fighting in, alongside Jarvis. The demonic Saiyan still refused to call him Caeser, despite the whole able to wipe her out thing. "NASU! WIPE THAT CLOWN BOYS SMILE RIGHT OFF HIS FACE!" she roared whilst kinda wishing that she'd been able to teach Nasu how to use their sisters style of combat... True he probably wouldn't have gone for the idea, but their ultimate moves combined had proven to be a powerful combination... Although that got her thinking. Did she have the right to teach her style to others, or was that up to a better student like Bernael maybe?
She looked over to where Bern's fight was taking place, which was against the giant bug woman. "BERN! YOU SHOW THAT OVER-GROWN BITCH OF A GNAT WHAT IT MEANS TO REALLY USE A BLADE!" she ordered, knowing full well that she couldn't order anyone around but given the situation, the blonde hybrid just couldn't help herself. She would have to be content with fighting in this tournament vicariously through the others...
This world curses me because of my blood, then I shall curse and plague it in turn!
Even with all these psychotic freaks screaming in her ear Liari never took her eyes off the demon she so loved down there in his arena, barely peeking over her knees to do so. Yeah... Who would be happy about this...? The majin could be such a child sometimes, putting herself in critical danger just to have a look at someone's superior strength, she would threaten lives if it meant having a taste or something equally as dastardly... She could do all those things, capable of them, but every once in a while when the stakes were high enough, she had moments of insight. This was one of those times. With all this power gathered in one place, Liari's childish side tittered like a giddy school-girl. That little part of her LOVED this, all these fighters going all out and she got to watch! Granted, areal combat would be out for the most part but these were like GODS to her, the most power congregated in one place since forever!
But the side of her that was in control was her rational and somber side as she stared down at the trash-spewing combatants, now doubt feeling as much fear for themselves as she did for her Bernael. Once this was over, half of these people would be erased, gone forever like they never even existed. Not even an afterlife would be around to comfort them for their troubles... This was beyond survival, this was existence... A battle of meaning, whether or not you even mattered in the scheme of the all-powerfuls... Liari didn't cheer or even smile for her demon as he fought for her life down below, too wrapped up in the ramifications if they WON. Someone was going to disappear no matter what they did, right...? Better them than us....
RIGHT!?
She didn't know! Nobody should have that kind of power! Nobody should have the authority to decide these things and put them in situation like this! Why did this have to happen!?
She blinked as Bernael smiled and waved at her from down below, showing that he knew where she was... Their eyes met and Liari felt the compulsion to just... spring up from her seat and just... rush him, get a kiss in before the full weight of her stupidity fell on her head... It was a strong compulsion too... She wanted to tell him how much she meant to her before it was too late... She wanted to tell him before she and the rest of their universe was very possibly reduced to cosmic slag... She needed to tell him...
But what could she do...?
Liari smiled weakly back as she slipped her legs down away from her chest, placing her hands together in a heart-shape before pointing at the demon, Her eyes flashing a very deep, very emotional red at the sight of him... It was all she could do... was willing to do for now... The little blue majin got up from her seat, standing near the edge of the podium as she looked over it's side, staring quietly as Bern called up to one of the other members in the audience before returning to his fight...
I love you Bernael... She mouthed to herself, crossing her arms as she stared down upon him...

So it was finally about to go underway. The tournament that would decide the fate of the world was at hand. Karen didn’t want to distract her sister during the actual fight, so she decided to ask her something that had been on her mind for years before they began.
<Tomina. I’m confident that things will turn out well. But just in case they don’t, there's one thing I want to ask you.>
<Alright, shoot away sis.>
<If you could go back to that moment where I asked if we should leave the Empire, would your answer still would have been the same?>
Tomina turned silent then, her head hanging down as she recalled on of the worst moments she ever had with Karen. While it wasn't as painful as the moment of her sister’s death, it was worse in some ways. For it was the biggest regret she ever had in her life
Eight Years Ago, Planet Vegeta
Tomina awoke when she heard a knock on her door. She had been training for hours on top of her normal duties, so she was completely exhausted. She stood up, rubbing her eyes as she made her way towards her door. Tomina opened it up, looking down to see Karen. Her coming to visit wasn’t unusual in of itself. Yet this time around, something was off.
“Karen? What are you doing here at this hour? The sun hasn't even risen yet.”
It was true. It was still dark outside. Granted Tomina sometimes got up at this hour to train or go on a particular mission assigned to her. But Karen never got up this early unless she had to. She was fully dressed too. Just what was going on here?
“I really need to talk to you about something. Can I come in?”
“Yeah, yeah of course. You don’t even have to ask. I'm not going to let you catch a cold out there.”
Tomina stepped to the side, letting her sister walk into the room. Tomina closed the door behind her, locking it to ensure that no one would walk in. She rubbed her eyes again, walking over and sitting down on her couch.
“So… what's all this about Karen? You caught me in my sleep ware for once, so whatever it is, it has to be important.”
Karen took a deep breath, not sitting down next to her sister. She hoped that she would be able to get Tomina to see reason tonight. It wasn't going to be easy, but she had to try. Both of their lives were at stake.
“Tomina… don't you think it would be better for the both of us is we just defected over to the Alliance too?”
“What?!”
That made Tomina jerk up in her seat. No way Karen would say such a thing. Given her disposition the desire for her going over wasn’t all that surprising in retrospect. She just never thought her sister would put it into words. It was dangerous saying that kind of thing out loud in the Empire.
Well, it had woken Tomina up fully for sure. She was too stunned to speak, so her sister took advantage of the situation and continued talking. She was going to press her case now that the had the edge. It was hard to keep up with Tomina when she was on the top of her game, even in a debate.
“Tomina, we wouldn't have to fight our squad members that way. And we could live in peace away from all the war, violence, and death. I’m not afraid of death, but I’m scared that one day you’ll get yourself killed and I’ll be left without you. Why can't we just run away from it all?”
Tomina took a deep breath, her palms pressing into the couch cushions as she tried to gather her thoughts. She knew what her stance was on this, but Karen had managed to catch her off guard. Was that intentional on her part? Regardless, she wasn’t going to let her sister just set the pace that easily.
“Aside from the fact that it means turning on the rest of our family and that I’d have to break every oath I’ve made while I abandon the world I was born on? I’ve been through so much to get to where I am too. You’re asking me to toss everything aside for the sake of a dream world.”
Tomina looked over at her sister, who was frowning at her. Tomina hoped that this conversation would never come up. But she supposed that it was inevitable given the circumstances.
“The universe has, and always will be a cruel place to live in Karen. It's full of beings who will kill you if given the chance. It's best to kill them before they get the chance. Natto couldn't accept that though. He built a dream world that made us weaker. His foolish delusion has left vulnerable, and our enemies are taking full advantage of it. They’d rather turn a blind eye to things and stay in their fantasy rather than dealing with reality.”
“It isn't a fantasy Tomina. The universe is a dangerous and cruel place. But maybe it's that way because We’ve made it that way. We never tried to make peace with any of our enemies. We’ve only responded to them with hatred and war. We now fight people who weren’t even our enemies to begin with. If we tried to make things better rather than just leaving them the way things are, then one day things might become better.”
Tomina grit her teeth, embers flying all around as she felt her anger overtook her. Before she could get a hold on her rage, it was channeled through her body and spoke through her.
“If you want to defect to that traitor then go ahead! If that's what you want then I won't stop you! Just leave me behind and go and live in his dream world! I do all the fighting that you're supposed to do anyway, so you being gone wouldn't make a difference!”
Tomina regretted those words the moment that they came out of her mouth. Karen was staring at her as though Tomina had just slapped her. She put her hand to her cheek, her lips trembling as she tried to find words, but couldn't say them. It was Tomina who broke the silence first, although it was just audible enough for her sister to hear.
“Karen… I…”
Before she knew what happened, Tomina was sent sprawling sideways onto the couch. Karen had looked like she had been slapped earlier, but that was exactly what had just happened to Tomina. Her sister was glaring down at her furiously. Tomina leaned up, rubbing her cheek as she stared at her sister in disbelief. She had never seen her sister this furious before.
”HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT?! AFTER EVERYTHING WE’VE BEEN THROUGH, YOU THINK I’M JUST GOING TO LEAVE YOU BEHIND! I’M TRYING TO SAVE THE BOTH OF US HERE! WE’RE GOING TO DIE IF WE STAY HERE! MOTHER WON’T BACK DOWN, AND YOU KNOW IT! YOU’RE GOING TO DIE A POINTLESS DEATH ALL BECAUSE OF YOUR STUPID PRIDE!”
Karen breathed heavily, trying to calm herself down. Tomina was just completely shocked at her sister. She couldn’t believe that her timid sister had spoken out against her so passionately. Karen lowered her head, looking at Tomina pleadingly. She calmed enough to talk in a level voice again.
“Tomina, I know that this is our home. I know that you have people you care about here. But is all of this really worth putting our lives on the line day after day? This isn’t like the war against the Kolds where we had to fight for survival. We risk our lives, kill others for fun. Tomina, we can leave right now! No one would suspect someone in the Empire would try to leave at this hour! If we can just get to a couple of pods, we can live a happy life on Natto with our friends there! You don’t have to prove anything Tomina: you’re strong, and you’ll continue to get stronger. Please, leave all of this behind.”
Tomina stood up, rubbing her cheeks a couple of times before looking at Karen solemnly. She didn’t really understand what her sister felt like right now. She was trying to put herself into her shoes, but that was hard. Tomina loved battling and lived for a good fight. She had a constant drive to prove herself under harsh conditions. There was also a lot placed on her shoulders due to her position. Tomina shook her head, much to the mortification of Karen.
“Karen… I can’t ever leave. This is my home. My family and teachers live here. I have a duty to them and Vegeta. Besides, I love fighting. You know me well enough by now. I am a strong Saiyan elite, and I plan on getting much stronger. The strong have responsibilities Karen. They must use their powers to further the agenda of their allies and superiors. I can’t just run away from that. I won’t stop you from leaving if you want. In fact, I’ll help you go if you want. But I can’t come with you.”
Karen looked completely dejected by that, looked down at the ground with an utterly defeated expression on her face. She knew that there was no way she was going to be able to convince Tomina to leave with her. She couldn’t pressure her by threatening to leave either. Tomina made it clear that she would help her escape, but wouldn’t leave Vegeta behind.
“No… I’m staying with you until the end. Tomina. I won’t leave you behind. Your resolve is greater than mine. I can’t make you leave no matter what I do, can I?”
Tomina wrapped her arms around her sister, pulling her into an embrace. It was something that she would never show in public. But she felt like it was appropriate given the circumstances.
“Don’t hit yourself over things you can’t control. I have too many reasons to stay here and there’s nothing you can do about it. Here, stay here for the night. I’ll set up a blanket and a pillow so you can sleep on the couch.”
Karen nodded, and Tomina pulled back from the embrace. She went into the other room to help set up Karen’s sleeping arrangements. Shortly after that the war against the Alliance would commence. Tomina would forever blame herself for not leaving with Karen when she had the chance.
Present Time
Tomina thought about a life on Natto. A peaceful existance with all the other Saiyans with Karen. She then thought about Tarro and where he came from. She pictured a life with Karen and Tarro on Natto. It wouldn’t have lasted forever: Caesar would have eventually destroyed the planet. But they would have been happy for 8 years. A sad smile spread across Tomina’s lips.
<I’d change my answer in a heartbeat. If I had the chance, I would have run off with you to live in that dream world. But it’s too late now. Now I have only have one person I truly care about who’s alive now, and neither of us can go live in that dream world. There’s too much hatred between me and the Alliance for me to live in peace with them. Perhaps in 100 years when all of those who fought in the war have past on, then maybe things could change.>
<Tomina…>
Karen saw that Tomina was focusing on her opponents now. She couldn’t see it from, but the hybrid would have a blazing determination in her eyes. She had a tinge of excitement in her tone as she talked to Karen mentally again.
<But you know something Karen? This whole tournament has defied reality. Things that I didn’t think possible became reality here. So maybe today I can turn our dreams into a reality. Just wait Karen: I’ll fix everything today, I swear it.>
<Tomina… you’re going to….>
<Yep. Just hang on sis. I won’t let you disappear.>
<Alright… go get them Tomina!>
Karen didn’t expect to mentally communicate with her sister again until all of this was over. All that needed to be said to her right now was already said. The red headed girl with the halo over her head sat in the stands, intensely watching Tomina’s side of the field. She also wanted to see how far her sister had come. Hopefully it would be enough to get victory today.
Meanwhile at another part of the arena, the Arlian that Mospira had brought with her glared daggers at Camila. It yelled out directly to the half Saiyaness.
“Queen Mospira will make short work of those weaklings. Those fighters down there don’t have a chance. She shows no mercy in battle either. They will all die, and you’ll never see them again. If you apologize for your disrespect then maybe I’ll be in a good mood and convince my mother to spare his miserable life.”

Tomina is using [PT-1] Dimensional Telepathy to talk with Karen.
OOC: Karen is the one in the stands, not Tomina. Tomina is simply communicating with her twin sister mentally, to avoid confusion.
Cambia watched the ensuing battles carefully, eyeing the enemies various techniques and skill sets. She may not be a participant like the others, but if there was a brief moment between this triple arena round and the next one, she was going to take advantage of that to give everyone a heads up as best she could. Any sort of pattern to their attacks, any sort of opening that any of them make... anything that could give their Universe an edge. That was her self-imposed task right now. She rolled her eyes when the bug thing in the stands yelled at her.
"She's your mother?" she called over before looking down at the arena where Mospira was fighting against Carva and the others. "OI! MOSPIRA! THE WALKING TICK HERE SAYS IT'S YOUR KID! AS A MOTHER MYSELF, I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU!" the demonic Saiyan yelled down, her toddler Okra giggling before he sneezed... and when he sneezed, a small ball of relatively harmless energy fired out from his nose towards the Arlian in the stands. If it managed to connect it would maybe sting a little.
The blonde hybrid's face blanched quickly before bowing her head towards the Grand Priest and the two Zenos. "I am so sorry your Graces! I had no idea that... that would happen. Usually it's just snot. I am so sorry." she profusely apologised, hoping dearly that her baby wouldn't get erased for "fighting" in the stands. Okra for his part just looked at his mother confusedly, turning his focus to the two Zenos and Grand Priest and proceeded to wave in the way that only toddlers can wave when faced with important people.
This world curses me because of my blood, then I shall curse and plague it in turn!
Tomoroko's tail was swaying actively behind her as if she was an excited puppy. She loved watching tournaments, especially if her boys were participating! The only downside of course was the possible destruction of their universe... She just had to make sure to be extra supportive for her sons then! Just as she was about to shout out more words of encouragement, a few familiar voices sounded behind her, causing her to turn around to see who else had arrived.
The first person she saw was another female saiyan like herself, her own tail swaying behind her as she addressed Tomo as if she new her. It had been so long since Tomoroko had seen that face that at first, she believed she must have mistaken the girl for her brothers mate... but the more she spoke...
"MIZUNA!? HOW!? WHAT!!" She exclaimed, leaping up to her feet in shock and soon leaping through the air to hug the girl tightly, pressing her cheek against hers as she refused to let the woman go.
"We looked for you EVERYWHERE!! Where the heck have you been! How are you here!? Who.... Chris? Uh Ruttsu!? How does he even remember you! Woah!" She was so excited that it was difficult for her to keep her tone down. She would literally be jumping up and down for joy if it wasn't for Lord Lagerus' sudden death glare in her direction. She would immediately pipe down and hold Mizuna at arms length so that she could get a good look at her.
"It's been so long... We've missed you." She said much more quietly now that she had triggered a nerve of the God of Destructions... That's when she noticed Cambia not too far away, yelling out just as loudly as she had towards Nasu and another one of their fighters.
"Hey brat! How'd you get here? I'd say Koma brought you buuuuuut he sort of took me." Tomo would call out just loud enough to catch Cambia's attention
Base [x+1/x+0], Enrage [x2], Mastered Power [x5], Super Elemi [x13], Attuned Super Elemi [x20], Unleashed Super Elemi [x32/x24], Mastered Super Elemi [x35], True Elemental [x45], False God [x56/x55] True God [x60]
Karen couldn't help it: she giggled when the Saiyan child sneezed out an energy ball and hit the giant bug in the red cape right in its… nose? It let out a small shriek, clutching its face with two of its hands. It glared daggers at the Saiyan hybrid and my her child.
“You insolent beasts! Enjoy this moment while you can, because Queen Mospira is going to ensure the destruction of your universe.”
Carva calling up to the stands caused the prince to whirl around, hissing down at the Saiyan from the stands.
“At least we exist in your Universe! There isn't a single one of your kind left in our Universe. And soon your universe won't exist at all!”
Karen ignored the bickering between the bug creature and the Saiyan fighting in the tournament of power. He reminded her a lot of another Saiyan she knew a long time ago. Only he didn't seem to have a sense of humor. Karen turned over to look at Cambia, deciding to talk to someone in the stands.
“You’re an alliance Saiyan, right? Why are you cheering for that Swordsman in the arena with the weaker fighters? He doesn't appear to be a Saiyan.”
Karen figured that starting a conversation with Tomoroko wouldn't end well. Her mother had been one of Tomo’s mortal enemies. Although Tomoroko and Liari would be able to hear every bit of Karen and Cambia's conversation.
Cambia spotted Tomoroko and nodded at her, whilst Okra's eyes lit up and he wriggled around in his mothers arms. "Gramma! Gramma!" he cooed, the blonde hybrid chuckling. "Well, he's got his R's down at least." she mused before rubbing the back of her head. "Eh, I think Nasu was the one who brought me... I think? Honestly I was more focused on making sure Okra got to come along that I've kinda forgotten. Didn't want him to miss this." the demonic Saiyan admitted with a slight chuckle before she turned her attention to the other girl in the stands.
She looked down to where Berneal was fighting and shrugged. "He may not be a Saiyan, but then again I'm not entirely one myself." Cambia explained. "Both of us are half demon, and Earth doesn't exactly treat demons that well... and he's kinda like a brother to me... and knowing my luck with extended families these days, he probably is for all I know." she said with a theatrical groan. Just then she spotted something going on in the first arena and groaned before yelling. "NASU! GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ARSE AND FOCUS!" She sighed and looked down at Okra who peered up at his mother curiously. "You're to learn from everyone here okay? Don't let the enemy get into your head, or manipulate your emotions." she said as she poked him in the nose.
The toddler blinked before looking back at Tomoroko and reaching out to her as if he wanted her to hold him now and give hugs! "You are such a brat." Cambia said with a dramatic sigh, although the smirk on her face put pay to the lie. She offered Okra to Tomoroko. "Want to hold him for a bit? My arms are getting tired, and I figure if I just put him down to sit on his own, he'd figure out some way of either floating off to the arenas or worse try to be with the Kings Of All..." she asked, shuddering at the notion of what her toddler could do by accidentally doing the wrong thing if they got too close to those two power-houses.
This world curses me because of my blood, then I shall curse and plague it in turn!
Liari found that trying to watch the tournament was like an average human trying to watch her move a full speed: Impossible. They were simply moving way too fast, even among the weaker combatants. She gave up trying to watch them, sitting back in the stands and leaning back against the back seat as she just stared out into the infinite black, trying to block out the stupidity radiating out from elsewhere in the stands. Bickering... Stupid pointless bickering... Arguing what side would win like it even mattered... Some bug-idiot argued with some human-faced woman, the two of them going at it like an old married couple. Each syllable they spoke struck a nerve in the majin, each time they rose their voice nearly forcing it out of her as well. They didn't seem to care that everything was riding on this tournament, just that their petty pride and scoreboard was sitting nice and pretty. No one but her appeared to consider the ramifications of this stupid tournament, just accepting it and moving on! THIS WASN'T SOME WORLD TOURNAMENT WHERE THE ONLY THING AT STAKE WAS ZENI!
But nobody cared... Too focused on the flashy lights and pretty explosions down below, how beautiful the end of a universe appeared. In a way, she hoped they did die... These people at least. Maybe she could throw one of them other the edge of the stands and throw them into the thick of it... Why was she thinking this...? Because she was tired of hearing them talk... She was tired of glancing over and seeing them mingle like this were a sporting event. She was tired of feeling like she was the only one aware of impending doom. She hated them... Their stupid need for battle...
Liari glanced over at the two women conversing about something she didn't care enough to listen into, eyes glowing red... They were making it impossible to ignore, what with Liari sitting as far as she could from them and their voices still managed to smash into her ear-drums. Why wouldn't they shut up...? Couldn't they give her that...?
Something about someone being a brother too her... something about extended families... Screaming at someone named "Nasu..." Liari was honestly trying to block them out... Block everything else out so she wouldn't have to be a part of the end.
The World of Void; a desolate cosmos of infinite nothingness, isolated and eerily unscathed by time and space. It was eternal in vastness, its surroundings nothing but unfathomable skies that donned galactic coloration, swathed by blacks and blues, plums and maroons, greens—the ambience was bizarrely appealing. It would become a living void on this day though as its illimitable environment was sought to host the Tournament of Power; what was once devoid of life would soon be pulsating in rhythms of creation and destruction as the strongest of warriors fought in its emptiness to spare their universe from eradication. The honey-eyed hybrid could not help but feel slightly devastated, knowing that the survival of one’s universe was being solely measured by the strength of its fighters; it wasn’t quite fair to anyone, to those who were unaware of this tournament—oblivious that today could possibly be their last.
But regardless, the bronze Saiyaness understood and did not question this harsh event; she knew that in this multiverse of powerful extraterrestrials, the strong devoured the weak—survival of the fittest.
Down below, the spectacle of participating fighters was quite intimidating—they were only standing around, yet the immensity of power radiating from them had already overwhelmed the blonde woman; she couldn't fathom how lethal they'd be in combat. Each participant had been chosen carefully, those of immense method and strength gladly accepting the grim challenge. The combatants stood tall and fierce, the golden orbitals of this hybrid having swept back and forth to survey the faces below. A few struck Sonoshee as familiar due to her past with the Saiyan Alliance, having noted the preeminent presences of Nasu and Komatsu. Last she had seen the two, they were mere children; an arched brow twitched feverishly as she felt like an old hag, recalling their youthful faces when they had once been toddlers. As grand as it was to see them, such beings could only hold her attention for so long before her molten eyes had committed to the sight of one particular being: Cornatto.
Immediately upon sighting the male Saiyan, the hardened expression that had once conquered her features now softened tremendously so, Sonoshee’s oculi speaking a language of their own as the woman silently watched him from afar in absolute awe. In that instant, her being had fallen into a tranquil state of ease, pacified by the mere sight of his carefree being. It made her wonder: how long had it been since she had last seen him, truly...? The months endured without him had felt very much like this void itself—empty and gloomy. It was a quiet and lethargic gloom; the kind of gloom one experienced when the sun died behind overcast skies, when the clouds hid the sun's warmth and dimmed the world around. It had been that way ever since he selflessly departed this Earth, ever since she was left to train alone; the gloom was strongly present in Cornatto's absence and it disheartened the female. Though, despite the gloom his absence brought, she knew better than to not mind the wait; she had accepted his temporary absence, no matter how long it’d be—simply because she knew he would return. Cornatto was a man who was never too weak or wounded to fight if the cause was greater than his own life, nor would he give up in the grasp of adversity; he was a man who’d always persevere, and he'd always do his best, no matter the condition of his being.
Sonoshee admired him for that.
And so, there he was. Whilst most in Sonoshee’s position would be hollering at Cornatto, the woman remained composed in her silence atop the spectating benches. It was not like her to use words to express herself—that's not how this Saiyaness worked. Words were not all that necessary; she was quite expressive in her features alone. All she had to do was smile, and one would know all her secrets. It was both a blessing and a curse to be so easily read. Her eyes, though, were most decipherable. And hers, whenever she gazed at the jovial Saiyan, always held this look. It was a look of otherness, as if they saw much too far; as if she wasn't looking at Cornatto but into him, perceiving the potential within him that he didn't see in himself. She saw so deeply into his being every time she caught a glimpse of him, always silently revering him for his lighthearted nature. Intelligence impressed her, the strength of character impressed her; but above all, she was impressed by kindness—especially Cornatto’s. Kindness, she believed, originated from learning after falling and picking oneself up again. It stemmed from surviving failure and loss. It implied the understanding of the human condition, forgiving its many flaws and quirks. And whenever Sonoshee was blessed the opportunity to perceive that in someone, it overwhelmed her with admiration; perhaps that explained why she was so captivated by the carefree Saiyan.
A bittersweet hue made its presence known as wild roses bloomed amid her cheeks, Sonoshee faintly flushing at her smug thoughts of the male Saiyan. Her caramel eyes attempted to divert her attention as they soon traveled in the direction of Liari, a fellow Majin that the blonde hybrid had befriended some time ago. Sonoshee had been sitting beside her when the teeny Majin had risen to get a closer look, having leaned her tiny being against a podium as she gazed down. The sunkissed Saiyaness followed Liari’s gaze, her tantalizing oculi now seeping amongst the combatants once more.
The fighters were starting to disperse as they traveled towards their designated arenas, those in the benches hollering and hooting at the sight. ’...Maybe I should say something,’ she hesitantly thought as more voices boisterously vocalized words of encouragement, the blonde Saiyaness internally conflicted as she gazed on. Would it distract him? Embarrass him? A few moments had passed when the woman’s hands had finally ascended from their perch atop her thick thighs, drifting up to cup around her mouth in an attempt to shout out to him. She inhaled softly, her chest rising as it expanded with air in preparation to holler aloud—but Sonoshee was beaten to it by the one and only Tomoroko, a Saiyaness she greatly admired from the Saiyan Alliance.
"CORN! DON'T YOU DARE LOSE OKAY!! WOOOO!!" the sprightly Tomoroko cheered from her post, Sonoshee dryly ceasing her breath. An innocent smile wavered across her nude lips whilst she meekly wheezed, a comical sweat drop sliding down alongside her temple as she closed her eyes. Sonoshee supposed that's what she got for being hesitant. The hybrid lowered her hands back into the midst of her lap, her awkward smile soon transitioning into one of confidence as she glanced at a particular man below. “You've got this, Cornatto,” Sonoshee encouraged beneath her breath, smiling warmly at the Saiyan. "It's up to you all to save the world and its tomorrow's. Do your best, guys.”
It was time.
Face to face were Cornatto and the basil-colored Yardrat, the two exchanging brief words to one another before the Saiyan lowered himself into stance. Sonoshee sat as quietly as a fuse, her fixated orbitals observing from beneath her thick lashes with an intrigued glare. The Yardrat was quite fascinating. After the Saiyan Alliance, Sonoshee had voyaged amongst the various planets in hopes of expounding her intelligence; it became a determinant to educate oneself with the dynamic cultures and dialect of neighboring planets—and in her days of expedition, Planet Yardrat had been a brief pit stop. Sonoshee was only intrigued by Cornatto’s opponent because he physically differed from the bulbous-eyed race she had seen years ago. The Yardratians had been a physically weaker species from what she remembered, awfully meek in appearance, short in stature with oversized heads and taffy hued skin. The Yardrat before Cornatto, Jinzo, wasn't anything of the like: he had a bit of mass to his heightening build, and only an imbecile would perceive him as weak—this Yardrat emitted an intimidating aura.
Cornatto's stoked expression soon segued into one of sterness, his signature smile having disappeared behind a slight frown as a dent furrowed between his scowling eyebrows; his perceptive oculi traced the Yardrat's movements with keen precision. The two combatants idly held their position for a few moments longer, each attempting to read one another before proceeding. Cornatto wasn't going to hold back, though. Without hesitation, the male's sculpted chest expanded outward as a deep roar resonated from the midst of his core, his black locks gravitating upward as their dark hue sporadically flashed into golds; Cornatto's power erupted greatly as he transformed into a Super Saiyan. Sonoshee glared on intensely as she witnessed the spar, her illuminating eyes teeming with frantic embers of apprehension. Cornatto's blitz eventually ceased as he drew a step backward, the Saiyan facing the Yardrat once more. His hands rose to his waist before he clenched them tightly at his sides, Sonoshee's eyes narrowing ever so slightly at the sight—was he going to transform again so soon?
A shiver sauntered down her spine as the sensation of the Saiyan's flourishing power was felt, his baritone growl rippling through his vocals as he did indeed transition into that of a Super Saiyan Two. Encompassing his being were sporadic streaks of crackling electricity, lurid and spastic in movement as the energized matter flickered in his intimidating wake. Sonoshee's heart instantly faltered in its reiterating beats. Unknowingly in that moment, the bronze Saiyaness had fallen into an involuntary state of mind which had stemmed from Cornatto's powerful ascension; it was a rare state of attraction, the female not attracted to the power he possessed, but his unremitting work ethic and humbling victories that led him to wield such power. The blonde hybrid had proudly acknowledged that the male Saiyan only achieved such through hard work and discipline, aware that he had to endure rigorous training and obstacles to be where he stood now. Cornatto was blessed a warrior's heart; he would irrevocably give the Tournament of Power his all.
With Cornatto's second transformation, the two combatants were similar in power level now, the aurulent Super Saiyan extending the distance between his legs to assist in a push forth. Cornatto then launched a muscular arm in the direction of his opponent's core, a white aura encircling the Yardratian's being as he, like Cornatto, began to display impressive power. In the blink of an eye, the two clashed as the Yardrat deflected the Saiyan's fist with a defensive knee, the combatants' limbs soon becoming almost unperceivable as the two fought at an immeasurable rate of speed. "He’s effortlessly keeping up,” Sonoshee subtly murmured as she watched with overwhelmed eyes, Cornatto following through with a barrage of assaults once more.
But it still wasn't enough.
The Yardrat managed to secure a powerful strike upon the Saiyan, Cornatto’s body caving inward at his core from the forceful impact. Sonoshee flinched forward out of slight concern, her dark eyebrows knitting into an expression of worry as she witnessed Cornatto’s being soar across the arena, clouded whirls of kicked up debris erupting in his wake. In the midst of flight, though, the male Saiyan had managed to align himself upright, his swift recovery coaxing the tension within Sonoshee’s shoulders as they fell in slack out of relief. Cornatto could withstand a great deal of damage, this she knew—but seeing him harmed still discomforted her.
The two warriors proceeded in battle, the Yardrat wasting no time as he discharged a volley of ki blasts toward Cornatto; but it was ineffective, for the Saiyan managed to flawlessly evade each portion of ki. For a brief moment, the Super Saiyan had been masked by the opaque clouds that littered the arena in result of Jinzo’s onslaught of ki blasts, but as soon as the ghastly clouds dispersed into the void, a rubicund radiance had brilliantly emitted from Cornatto’s masculine silhouette. The newfound power that erupted from the very core of his being left Sonoshee in a state of stupefaction, her widened oculi observing in absolute astonishment as gooseflesh invaded the plains of her tanned skin—his infinite growth in strength and ability never ceased to amaze her.
All of a sudden, the arena had been lit by the immense brilliancy of aegean blue, the woman’s warm skin appearing as pallid as the moon as it casted its light amongst the arena. “A-amazing!” excitedly stammered the caramel-eyed Saiyaness as she watched on, Sonoshee’s oculi burnishing with wonderment. Out of excitement, the blonde had unintentionally grabbed ahold of Liari’s hand—who had now reclaimed her seating beside the hybrid and looked incredulously irked—and held it softly yet, enthusiastically as she discreetly fist pumped the air, simply enthralled by Cornatto’s abilities. Despite the criticality of this tournament, Sonoshee couldn’t help but be immeasurably proud of the Super Saiyan in this moment; although, she was too blinded due to the distraction of his technique, inattentive to Cornatto’s being who was about to exhibit the next degree in the Saiyan lineage: Super Saiyan Three.
Liari was far too deep into her own thoughts to have noticed Sono sitting beside her, she too infected with the macabre celebration of the end of everything. What did she expect, even... She was just like the rest of these, human-faced creatures. WELL, what she actually expected (perhaps a more correct term was 'wanted') was that she'd sit in silence with the little blue majin, the two of them mature enough to NOT cheer death on a universal scale and all who participated in it. Just another disappointment, huh...? These sick little gods brought children who enjoyed this kind of thing to give them a funny little show before destroying the lesser performers... She hated them... Her sanguine eyes looked past the half-sayain beside her, glaring at the football-headed monsters upon their thrones... Steam actively billowed out from the holes on her arms as her teeth ground against themselves... She hated them for what they made her see. She hated them for showing her what everyone was like, audience and actors. She hated them for how happy they were to do it too, their stupid blank eyes just drinking in the carnage down below like it was their only taste of fun.
Liari was drawn out of her lapse in hatred by something grasping her hand, the little blue majin glancing down to see Sono's deep-tanned hand grasping her deep blue one, glancing back up to meet her eyes... or would've if she was even looking at her. She was too enthralled with the battle going on down below. Everyone was. Liari was alone in her awareness of the situation. Her first impulse was to rip her hand away, maybe rip it off too and grow a new one. The last thing she wanted was to be touched by someone so callow... Her arm tensed, ready to detach it entirely, then blast it to dust... but then she stopped, her body going slack as her rage eventually gave way to sickness... T'was like a wooden effigy of the majin, burned hollow from the inside, sickly smoke escaping through whatever the flames of her anger had... Too much... too fast... she couldn't keep it up...
The little blue majin simply leaned down, laying her head softly on Sono's lap as she curled up on her seat, turning her back on the arena. She didn't want to even know she was there anymore... She tried her best to block out the noises of impacting punches and fired energy-blasts, trying to lose herself in the half-sayain's warmth.

Karen smiled at the Saiyan Child on Cambia's lap. It was nice to see that even with all the death and destruction that ruled their race, they were still managing to build the next generation.
“Aw, he’s adorable! I wish I could have brought someone else with me. Nasu brought you here? He seems frighteningly strong. My sister Tomina was the one who brought me here. She's over there.”
Karen pointed over to the second arena. Which in of itself was a good sign. The groups seemed to be separated by strength level. Tomina wasn't in the strongest group, but still being in the one she was in was a good indicator of how strong she was.
Karen looked over at arena threw again, watching the one called Bernael fight his opponent. It seemed rather tame so far compared to some of the other fights going on. When Cambia told her why she supported him, the hybrid understood immediately.
“I don’t know that much about how Earth treated races besides the Saiyans. I grew up in the Saiyan Empire, so I never could go to Earth. You're a hybrid like me then. Me and my sister are half Elemi. Our mother did that on purpose to selectively breed weapons. Hybrids weren’t treated kindly in the Empire, to put it mildly. If it weren't for Tomina, I don't think I would have made it past 5.”
Karen gave Cambia an timid smile. She wanted her to know that she did understand the pain of being a hybrid. Cambia began cheering loudly for Nasu, causing the hybrid to look around the stands at the people around her.
There was another woman with Saiyan blood nearby, and a strange blue creature, which expelled steam from its arms when it got mad. It soon curled up in the other Saiyans lap. Karen scooted over slightly so she could talk to the Saiyan while keeping her voice down.
"Excuse me, are they okay? They seemed to be expelling a lot of steam. What are they? I've never seen anything remotely like that before.”
Karen then watched the battle progress in arena two. She wasn't quite as loud most of the other people cheering. She mostly stayed silent for the most part. Tomina was doing very well against her opponent. It looked like she was going to inflict a major blow on him! But then the metal creature transformed and began overpowering Tomina’s attack. Karen sprung to her feet, a distressed look on her face as she yelled out from the stands.
”TOMINA! DON’T GIVE UP NOW! SHOW HIM THE POWER OF THE ROYAL BLOODLINE!!!”
Karen looked rather flustered after yelling that out. She detested fighting, but she was still part Saiyan. Plus her sister was fighting for her life, and the lives of those she cared about in that arena. Karen remained standing on her feet, ready to cheer on Tomina further if necessary.
One girl had appeared not long back but had remained relatively silent as if out of sight and perhaps out of mind. Watching the battle before them and perhaps not enjoying the learning experience as much as her father may have appreciated. Although given the galactic shaking explosions before her eyes it was likely equally true quite allot wasn't going quite like this ones father had expected. She felt herself tremble lightly as her small lower lip did quiver from the fear and cold chill of fear and anticipation that did run through her body. Her very soul lightly pained and thrown into a sensation of sadness shadowed in fear by the sights she saw before her. She was for sometime as this happened perhaps unaware of the world around her. The strange sights of this other worldly place of which was a remarkable thing to observe the likes of which she would likely never see again was lost to her in this moment. For what was such sights of power and constructs from the gods. When compared to the struggling sight ones own flesh and blood struggling for their life before you. When one that gave us life wished us to see power and protection. But instead what was seen was only pain or fear of the loss of those that gave such protection.
Small hands did grow pale as the snow in winter. The pink light tone of youth fading as warmth would fade from her soft green eyes. Eyes that carried a light within them that could bleed for the world around her. Eyes that wanted to look upon sights of joy and sunny days. Eyes that would desire to see peace rather then destruction that did unfold here. This was not what one would imagine would spawn nor be bore from the creation of monstrosities. This was not a child that one might imagine could have stemmed from darkness of the galaxy that was now faced with the possibility of ever lasting destruction and dreamless sleep. But instead what was seen was a frail small thing with small trembling hands that clutched tightly to her own chest. The blinding light of beams as she watched a struggle before her when her focused on the arena that she could not rip her gaze from did show a fear that could make even the strongest of hearts weep from the sadness.
While her aquatic toned hair did cover most her face and even a large portion of her small frame. It could not hide the tears that began to stain her cheeks with a crimson burn upon her tender face. Her dress of fine material stained as well as the dots of salted waters fell in succession. Wondering what she did see or what would come in the moments that had not yet passed. She wanted to be strong as the mother she had heard stories had been. She wanted to be able to be able to be proud like her half sister and brother. But the soul did not change simply because we wanted it too. She was not the warrior as her half brother was nor was she the little beast that was her half sister. She was the flower that gave meaning to a world that had lost much of its light. A reminder and remaining thing that reminded a soul of a fire that had now been snuffed away. Its existence something different now and in a way of which it could never return to what it once was again.
She cried heavily with tears that burned her cheeks as she could feel flesh grow raw. Her hand gripping the sun kissed skin toned hand next to her. The woman was not her mother nor of any relation. Nor was this someone she had ever met or had any idea of even where or what she may have hailed from. She herself was perhaps not even truly aware she had taken the hand but simply she gripped it as like a scared little child would perhaps do. When faced with the image of what would be her demons come to life before her eyes. A feeling of fear as she felt the pain of the ones she saw before her in her own way. The sensation as she feared the loss of so much more. A child who was pure... and perhaps one of the only remaining lights in her remaining bloods life.

She watched, she observed, she waited. That was all she could do now wasn’t it? Observe and study those who could one day be future allies, future enemies. That was what her mother would do, that was what she would have wanted her to do as well. She had always been as obedient as she could to her mother, but for once, this was the first time she was really free from the demon realm, one of the few times she had ever been able to see another world. She watched as her step father fought with all his might against these other universes. She watched as he battled it out with most of his might. However even she knew how foolish it was for his opponent to split themselves up in such ways was, while yes it did give him a number advantage, and generally would have worked against less experienced, less powerful foes. Her step father was neither of those. It was the very reason why she still held complete confidence upon him. “Father”, she would whisper subtly, “please don’t fail us now…please.”, she would pray in a way to she supposed the very kaioshin next to her in hopes of his success. She didn’t want to see him lose this, to see his pride destroyed in mere instants.
Throughout all that was to occur here, with each fight proceeding the way it was, she began to notice the steady advantage it seemed Universe Seven held over the others. The fights were all progressing in ways that favored their own universe. It seemed less and less likely that they were to actually lose. As soon as one of the fourth universe participants fell, the others were quick of their own to begin falling as well. Was this really a fight even? Was this just a massacre of proportions yet to have been seen? What difference was this to actual genocide? Yet all most of them could do was cheer the others on. Why though? Yeah, she wanted her side to win, because of those she held dear to her, but the cheering was it not too much? Did all forget that if they were to win, yes, they would still live, but what of the other universe? The fourth universe? “I don’t understand how you all are able to deal with all of this. How you kaioshin handle such things so well. Everyone I see, sees happiness in the further day, but all I see is a pain stained into the light of tomorrow.”, she would say ever so quietly, always so quiet, only truly able to be heard by the Kaioshin she was next to.
Nyx would try to distract her thoughts, she would even look over towards the first arena with her uncle, her biological father as well in a sense. As she watched the varying events, the brutality of the Saiyans, typical of what she had been told and had seen before, she watched as her…father…in anger threw his power out towards the stands of Universe Four, her eyes could only grow further in shock! “Papa NO!”, she would scream out as she watched him get erased right where he stood. Death…death was something else entirely…her mother had returned from such before. This was different, this was erasure…gone…forever. It was then she felt it once more. She was alone again, she had no one in the world of the living to help her understand her powers, the closest there had been was the man who biologically was part of her…now he was gone…she could feel the salt tainted stains drip onto her clothing, her eyes red to her pale skin, wet with saltine tears..”Papa…no…”

She couldn’t help but smirk as her friend began to embrace her, the warmth of her cheeks against her own as she felt such warmth course throughout her spine to her tailbone even. It felt good to be around family once more. It felt like something she had been missing for seemingly a long while. Was that why she appreciated it as much as she did now? Was that why she held that smirk upon her face? Those were questions only she would know, questions only she could truly answer. In a way that was a true sign, a sign that she truly was here. “Tomo-momo it’s been too long, I missed you guys as well. Honestly however I don’t believe Ruttsu does remember me much, I was only able to even find him when I felt his call of energy from me. All I saw was this room of light. I couldn’t see anything else for moment but Ruttsu. It was strange seeing my boy all grown up from when he was but a baby the last time I did see him. It was only then fro a split second however.” Mizuna would continue to say as she would gaze towards the arena, watching the impeccable fighting as it roared onward.
It made her blood stir watching all these fights, it made her Saiyan bloodline stir, wanting to jump right in at Super Saiyan Two. As she turned back to Tomoroko, her eyes meeting her sister in law’s. “You have no idea how much I missed you guys, unfortunately not all of us can be Guardians of the Gods themselves.”, she would say with a slight chuckle as she would gaze around noticing two someones were missing. “So where are Toru and Natto? Are they busy keeping the planets safe while were here?”, she would say unknowing of what had happened to the two since they had last met. If only she had known, maybe she could’ve avoided such a question.
