Working with the demons was always going to be an issue.
So many earthlings saw them to be beings that weren't wrong to be killed, due to their innate behavior, and because of that, any betrayal on their part wasn't meant to be a loss. The Vampires were meant to be a source of power that could be used, and unknown to everyone but could possibly be predicted, it was only meant to last until they had a stronger ground for being relatively independent. Something which could come true, once the brunette had reached Caesar's power, and acquired a planet of her own. The swordsman and other would be fighters, could only be tricked by them for so long.
If the swordsman truly was watching from heaven right now, he shouldn't have been able to hear what was going on in this realm, and only see things without hearing the context. The Queen of Demons being pissed, and herself carrying away the other Vampire, would allow them one more excuse, the next time they might meet the swordsman. Because as it was now, they weren't going to be seen helping the demons at all, beyond what could be seen as being sympathetic.
All of the things that the Demon Queen was also promising, she saw as retribution for working with the demons. The universe was paying back the fortune that they had been granted so far, and this warning at some point in time, was going to come into fruition. But she wouldn't have said it wasn't something her lady wouldn't have desired. Only someone who was strong and had relatively good reason to them, she would actually accept dying to. Anyone else was likely to be marked off as luck, and someone who would be killed, over and over again. Especially anyone who had lacked an influential position of their own.
Women seemed to hold more of a place in the brunette's heart however, and that belief was one of the reasons that no matter what could be said about her, she knew there was still some form of humanity in that undead heart. What was considered to be normal to this generation or the culture of others, they were supposed to be well above that thinking. Monotony would be something they'd need to endure and to be used to in the future. Past actions could easily just be short phases. Those who couldn't see their kind as the value they had, she wanted to believe the universe could see this misfortune and right it.
Had it not been for the other Vampire going on to knock out the Demon Queen, they were likely to have died right here, seeing so much rage in those eyes. Relief wasn't quite what she had felt, knowing it had always been likely something like this would have happened with the demons. Although it did feel as if their place in this invasion was over. Whatever the demons had planned, with those who were good out of the way, they would be free to go and do so.
The surprising thing about all of this, and one which she would have to repeat to her lady later, was another warning by this other demon. They were almost similar in how they served the powerful, only she and the others knew full well that death was supposed to be a temporary delay, and for as many as the Demon Queen could have killed, the same would go for her. A detachment and willingness to bear monotony, was surely what the demon woman lacked.
"I'm sure my lady figured as much. I can only guess what she might have envisioned if things had gone well, but I suppose it was the mistaken belief we only control one coven, that impacted things. Delphi should have informed how the hierarchy ran. It's a good faith explanation that hasn't really been secret." Briefly, she had thought back to how it simply broke down to how the strongest Vampire would be recognized as the leader. One which would be proven through the Vampire having found themselves with innate abilities like Vampire specific compulsion or telepathy. As far back as she had knew of, Matriarchs and Antediluvians had always been shared but limited titles, in order to keep control of the population, and the secrecy that
they were breaking.
No one with that much power among covens which normally run themselves, would find it difficult to control the population in its entirety. Especially when they had all worked off of blood magic that had gifted them this natural physique in the first place, and which was willing to bend to their desires.
The compulsion and telepathy had evidently been proven to produce such things at a certain level of power. There were even ancient, but retired Vampires who could back it up. Their lifespan being around the hundreds on average, before deciding to pass away like the former Queen of Vampires had a century before.
"One of you demons were meant to have this as well."Two capsules and some scouters had been the kind of aid they had planned to provide the demons, though that had all but proven to be unnecessary, from the feel of things. Still, this one wanted her own queen to be healed after they had left, so she did what she could to dig into where her lady kept her supplies, before throwing the last capsule at the demon. Only a single glance was spared at the fallen Demon Queen, before she had taken off.
Lady Rukia had grown smaller in size, reverting back to her Matriarch form, although it would still be quite awhile before carrying the woman like this, would seem less ridiculous. She wouldn't have much time to run towards one of their spare ships and off of the planet, if the Queen of Demons had went into another rage. Other than provide support here and there, she had been so forgotten about by the swordsman and the Demon Queen, until it actually mattered.
Her own exhaustion was nowhere near the level of what the brunette had felt, but it still existed, knowing in a place like this, they were so very close to having their own lives be taken away from them. Misfortune that could delay or make future plans challenging, but nowhere near what would be a loss.
The others would still be able to live, and looking down at the other Vampire, accompanying each other would make the time it'd take to break out of the afterlife, much easier. But that might not have been meant for them today. And getting to be together like this upon early deaths, would be too good to have been true. Her lady had admitted a one-sided physical attraction to a woman who had made it clear there wasn't a slightest bit of amusement to it.
That sight was such a rare sight around those who weren't their kind, and it wasn't something at all appreciated. It goes to show just how much people changed when they had become Vampires themselves, no matter how stubborn they were in their former lives, monotony would eventually come for them.
The demons and their own long lifespan, she could see the flaws, hearing about how the demon had believed how one Vampire couldn't rule them all. When it came to the structure of most cultures belonging to the powerful, how different did this woman believe things were? Whether or not hers had been a birthright, it was outdated to believe in the idea other beings didn't gain control through their own power. This hate that they had gained, she was certain it wasn't a mistake, or something to find loss in. These two differed in titles by marginal factors. What beyond a claim she hadn't seen, was different?
"Stay alive, Lithi.""Won't matter if I don't."It was only the thought of the ally she had left behind, that had her move away from those troubles, feeling the energy within the area. The Elemi was going to be pushing the kind of time she had to leave safely and off the planet. They had been victorious here, and anger wasn't something meant for their lady so soon. They might not have been further obligated at this moment to continue working with the demons, but the possibility was still there regardless.
They wouldn't be waiting for her, with the ships that were still available, though it was still a warning that was deserved. One she hoped the girl would listen to, within the elemental's rage by her own pain. Her movements felt so much faster when the world had blurred away, but nothing would be a relief until seeing what would get them away from this planet. Trusting in the demons they had worked with, she wouldn't believe their location would be outed.
And even if it did, it would be a mistake to expect they had housed only one coven.
This was great.
It was better than great. Things were amazing. That kid really
was all talk, getting hit like that. She could feel the flames of her body flare out even longer than it normally did, just watching things land. Ignoring how weak that attack was from the mage, compared to her own, the sight of this kid being burnt even a little, was what she had been hoping to see. She had only wished
she had been the reason he wasn't moving right now.
If it had been her, his body would have just been burned all over. Oh well. His death was going to approach with this next strike, and it was practically all hers. That other demon had decided to fire hers off somewhere else, instead of joining in. And it was probably because of that, did that mage actually get to yap on. Nowhere near as much as the Vampire, but it was still noise that quieted a bit of her own burning flames. Just not enough to make her sick of it, seeing how these guys were here to kill people like this kid. What made it all better, was that they should have knew by now, she wasn't with this kid.
Not anymore, anyway. He pissed off the only healer he had. The quiet voice she was no longer hearing, so long as she was free and with energy. An incinerator that would keep on burning until she was exhausted enough to give up, and go back to the way she had been before. She felt too good right now to even come close to that. When would even be the next time she'd get another chance like this? Why did it even have to stop at all? Going back to something lesser? She wanted all of this power to stick around. To have her body keep on burning. There was nothing but pain for her, having that kind of skin.
Soft, weak, and so easy to tear apart. To burn and leave behind scars that would only create even more pain. Nothing that was like what she had now. If she got hit in this form, the pain was nowhere near what she had felt with that skin. It burned away, like what she did, fighting just about anyone.
The way that things were supposed to be. Like how this kid was going to die. He was a Saiyan, so he was out of place here anyway. He was a loser, but she doubted he was one of those half-human hybrids. Not when he had actually thought he was better than her. And look at where he had got himself now.
Her hands had twitched, the ki she was putting into this ball of her own flames, was getting closer and closer to where she had wanted it to be. The smell and the sound of its heat, she could actually get a feel for again, and knew it was only because that mage had finally decided to shut his yap.
There wasn't a thing he had said, that she paid attention to, but from what she could remember from earlier, it was nothing important anyway. Laughable, really. One of the things she could actually agree with the Vampire about. All that talk about mortals taking things for granted, like they were the victims, or that it even mattered who was a victim and who wasn't. People were going to die in this invasion of theirs.
He was supposed to die.
That Vampire was supposed to take care of him, and if not her, then the other one. They weren't supposed to just let someone so dumb live.
She'd take him down if she had to. She had more than enough power to kill him. The other demons were going to be pissed, but so what? As if they could touch her.
Both literally and not. They kill her off, and that Vampire was going to be pissed enough to keep on killing their own kind. She was worth something to that woman, if she had such a normally weak body. She didn't get it, but she also didn't have to. All she knew was that she was untouchable, and they wouldn't even be killing her if they tried. Just that side of her that didn't know what to do with power, or would even try to actually use that Vampire like this.
The moment that she had put in the last bit of ki she knew was likely going to kill this kid, that stupid mage had gotten himself attacked. Her eyes narrowed, looking over at the lack of power level that she was feeling. That dragon. And what was with all this crap about wanting to be alone with this kid? Did it hear what it was saying? Why the hell would it matter to anyone here where this kid died? And all because of some little grudge too.
"Aha ahahaa! You're hurting my sides!"So as long as this Android was left alone to do what it wanted, no one else was going to get hurt right? Just what the hell were a bunch of machine parts doing, trying to give orders? Killing this thing and putting it back together again, it wouldn't even be the same talking machine.
Just a copy that thought it was the original, which is one of the things that made this whole thing rich. She didn't hesitate at all to break into laughter, her ball of fire smoothly disappearing into the air and becoming nothing. This machine had more power than her, but like that mattered.
The Vampire never mentioned warning her about Androids to look out for, that they didn't already know of. So this was no one important, and what did power matter to someone without any importance? This machine probably didn't even belong to anyone who
was important, and even if it did, it was just as dumb as the mage, deciding to attack the demons here, and then asking to be alone with this kid. Ha. Ha ha ha. As if that wouldn't have been suspicious.
The way this thing was talking too, reminded her a bit of that Vampire, except that woman would argue the hell out of someone. She
knew for sure, that Vampire could mock this thing way better than she could have. But ha, as if she needed to do that. Fucking machine was asking for permission right?
"Dunno who the hell you even are, and I don't care."From what she could remember that Vampire had said once, slight change in movements caught attention. Which made this whole thing perfect. It was only a moment after she started laughing and taking back the energy that was in her ball of flames, did she suddenly create another one, placing her hands near her eyes. People said it was bad to look at the sun, and the bright light that came from her, was from a ball as hot as it could be to give that off.
Didn't matter if this machine had saw it coming or not. If she was touched at all or killed by anyone here, that Vampire was going to hunt them down. Over and over. That woman was one of the few psychos who had actually wanted to live for centuries and meant it. Like hell, she wouldn't keep killing this thing.
"Touch me at all, and I'll make sure that Vampire hunts you down and keeps killing you, like she could have with these demons."Whether or not her technique had worked at all, she had started to move away from the area, to try and burn off her energy elsewhere. She wasn't happy about it at all, not having the chance to kill anybody, but ha, that machine would be hunted anyway if that kid had still stayed alive. All of these idiots kept framing that woman like she was the only one using anyone. But they were wrong. Using the Vampire for her power, what about that idea was new?
Manipulation worked both ways.
She had did it.
The power belonging to that girl had disappeared completely, though hadn't been the only one. That other blonde had followed after it, being hit by power that wasn't her own. More help that she wanted to say she didn't need, knowing the demon who did so, was also nowhere near here. But she shook onto those thoughts, as she regained her own breathing, the hold keeping her partial mask from cracking even further, helping do its job in taking those thoughts away.
What did it matter anymore what kind of help she got? This whole thing was supposed to be over now, with that swordsman gone, and those who were left were going to die easily. She counted one, maybe two who didn't feel like Demons, and weren't any of those she knew. They were surrounded by the others too, who she was supposed to meet back up with. All of that pain and the weight in her body was still around, but she felt better than she had while being attacked.
Just not enough to really feel like she wanted to do much of anything anymore. It had been the same way back then in East City, after collapsing the place, and finishing what she had wanted to do there. Things were done for her now too, besides picking up the scraps of those who weren't demons here.
Still, excited wasn't what she had felt right now. There was rage at how her mask had cracked so much, but exhaustion was there as well. All of the reasons for it weren't just worth enough to stop her from moving again, and back towards the others. She was slowly gaining the energy she had before having to fight against these mortals, but it still wasn't enough to do much of anything without charging. One final blow was what it seemed like things were headed towards with those who were left, if the others had really been busy long enough for her to still find them in the same spot they had been before.
She didn't find either of those two to be tough, even if Seid hadn't helped her out. The way they had attacked, was just all ready to kill than she had expected. That amount of energy wasn't something she had, but she would have been able to manage fine if she had knew. Those last two could have gotten away, though it wouldn't have been a problem if they had. What would be left for them here on this planet, with so many of them dead for fighting?
Their reasons didn't matter in the end, knowing they would be gone long enough for she and the others to settle here on this planet. There was a lot of stuff she didn't understand about this plan for Makai's future, but thinking wasn't what she needed to do. It was to fight and to kill, until those who didn't need to die were gone. She didn't care much about any survivors that somehow the others had let get away. It could feel better to kill them when they came back, thinking they were strong enough, and finding out that they were still wrong. Though only those apart of that tournament would be around now.
That woman should have been apart of that tournament. They didn't need her help to win against these mortals. A lot of them could only stall and died off. That swordsman was the only challenge, but not enough that the queen wouldn't have been able to handle her. Both of those two women, she didn't really feel the power of, flaring around anymore. That woman was actually moving away from the area with that other one. The only one left still near the others but leaving, was that Elemi, who wasn't even following after those other two. She recognized that power coming from her, and just what it had meant.
That girl was supposed to be dangerous for anyone who even had bare skin, which only proved her right the others were fools to leave that behind, or had never even had that at all. Because of those who were left, she couldn't drop away from this form just yet, and go back to what she was so used to.
"Yeah, I'm headed to you now."Not when the others were still also fighting. The telepathic message that had came to her, had confirmed that thought, and somewhat made her wonder how badly those other mortals had held them up, if they were so exhausted. She would continue to serve as needed, but having to wait was going to bug her.
It might have been the thing she needed right now, though.

(I've announced it before in my entrance to this thread, but I'll do so again. With Natsumi's attempted exit with Rukia, Capsule Corp will have officially move off planet and towards Bris, in what the Vampires consider to be a temporary measure. They'll live in underground bunkers which I've already hinted some threads ago with my Kold Demon and Majin awhile back. I've asked
King of All numerous times about moving Capsule Corp, and was told it could be done. So those loyal to earth, will have to depend on Capsule Corp's new location for supplies, which won't be made relatively public until Rukia recovers. Trusting Kuroko (The only one told about the departure to Bris), that won't be for another 3 days icly.)
